Abstract

Pembinaan Anak-Anak Salman - Institut Teknologi Bandung – also known as PAS-ITB – is one of many nonprofit organizations in Bandung. PAS-ITB has established in 1982 and engaged in the field related to children education. Since 10 years after it was formed, PAS-ITB cannot accept all participants because it considers that participation from volunteers is still lacking. It can be seen from the less interest and high turnover. For this research, researcher uses the qualitative research method which data is gained through a semi-structured interview and participative observation. The result will be analyzed using coding method. The interview was done by interviewing 15 informants that consist of active members, alumnus, and ex- members. Researcher use motivation factors in non profit organization as the framework of the interview. The factors that influence to increase member motivation are altruism, egoism, reward, social relationship, leisure, and career development. The research, proven that six of the motivation factors in non profit organization exist in PAS-ITB. This research also found new factors that influence member motivation to join non profit organization, especially in PAS-ITB. These factors are belief, creative environment, leadership style, manage organization, motivated environment, organization rule, and distance. After the researcher interpreted the data, it can know that the dominant factors that influence member motivation in PAS-ITB are egoistic motivation, social relationship motivation, career development motivation, leisure motivation and organization rule. By known the dominant factors that influence motivation in PAS-ITB, directors can make programs that support member needs as their factors.

Abstract

The topic of this research is about androgynous endorsement influence toward consumer buying intention on Instagram for fashion products. The problems involving androgyny who endorser on Instagram are very few due to stereotypes about those who are very biased, in Indonesia androgyny are having different interpretations because they display strange personalities in their eyes, even though the concept of androgyny is not limited to gender, many have done the androgyny concept, one of which is Thailand in that country has almost no point of view about gender. Androgynous fashion is the union of male and female style, as well as masculinity and femininity in one body. One example of the androgynous model in Indonesia is Jovi adhiguna, Jovi is an androgynous model that has long been engaged in the fashion world because it has an interest in fashion and fashion for men or women. Therefore, the purpose of this research is Identifying the effectiveness of androgyny models against endorsement Instagram affecting the consumer buying intention on using Instagram. Thus this research has two models, the first five aspects androgynous model (likeability, credibility, personality, attractiveness, and expertise) toward endorsement and endorsement toward consumer buying intention. The object of this research is knowing about how the influence of androgyny models on endorsement Instagram that affects consumer buying intention with the fashion of the advertised product. In the analysis using multiple linear regression (MLR). The questionnaire used in this research and for a sample consisting of (200) users of Instagram. For the result, the first model only one rejected because above 0.05 there is likeability, and the others are accepted because they have a value below 0.05 and the second model has a significant level for endorsement Influence toward consumer buying intention because they have a value below 0.05.

Abstract

Reptile hobbies in Indonesia's growth more significant from time to time. According to Tribunnews.com, the potency of the pet industry in Indonesia could grow to 7,1 % in 2020. With the dynamic and broad market, how is the industry competitive level based on Porter Five Forces analysis and what strategy needs to enter and survive in the industry? Respondents in this study are experts that already in the industry for more than 3 years and have profits more than IDR 10,000,000,- . All of the factors obtained through the respondent will be linked to five Porter Forces theory. The result shows that 4 out of 5 of the forces is high, so it can be concluded that the competitiveness level on Indonesian reptile industry is high. The strategy is obtained from some factors that affecting the forces level on Porter five forces analysis, by linked to SWOT analysis, and reviewed with Porter generic strategy, Focus Differentiation strategy is chosen as the best strategy to enter and survive in the market. This study has a goal to find the best strategy to enter the industry. Hopefully, by seeing this study, entrants can gain a higher rate of succession on the Indonesian reptile industry.

Abstract

Motivation for someone to work is to obtain financial benefits, while people that working in NGOs should have social factors as their main motivation. Nowadays is the time for millennials and generation z to work. Millennials and generation z’s are the generation that has a lower social concern than the previous generation and is also a generation that that considers that profits are measured by financial measures. The reality is that at present, in Indonesia the number of NGOs and NGO members from the millennial generation continues to grow. The results are two contradictory matters. Therefore, this research tries to identify the determinants of work motivation for NGO workers in Bandung. Some selected NGOs are Environment, Law and Legal, Child Care, Health, and Social Entrepreneur NGOs. Data were collected by quantitative methods through a survey method by questionnaire and the result was proceeded by using factor analysis method to find the most dominant factor. Motivation factors for NGO workers are obtained from various experts and summarized into Self-Development, Self-Satisfaction, Humanitarian, Social Relations, Work Security, and Reward. After doing the analysis factor process and labeling for each new factor, five new factors emerge, namely rewards and work benefit, internal-orientation, development in self and society, external-orientation, and self-actualization and the main motivational factor is the reward and work benefits, and this was different from the first hypothesis that is due to social factors. This research will be useful for NGOs as data to make decisions about work motivation issues for millennials and generation z’s to improve performance and reduce turnover.

Abstract

Inventory management is one aspect which is important in maintaining the smoothness of the production process that will ultimately affect the smoothness of consumer demand fulfilment. Companies need to acknowledge the upcoming demand that they can expect to happen. The way to know this is to conduct demand forecasting. Korina is a fashion industry company which actively compete in the industry, particularly in Hijab fashion market. With the ongoing competition between hijab fashion companies, Korina faces the problem of the inability to fulfil the demand, particularly in their dress products. This problem can be traced because Korina does not conduct any demand forecasting and material requirement planning. The objectives of this research are to analyze the demand forecast recommendation of dress products based on the previous data obtained in Korina; to implement the proper material requirement planning basedon the demand forecast in Korina, and; to acknowledge the economic benefit Korina would gain in the future if it follows the material requirement planning and demand forecasting calculated. The methodology used in this research is quantitative approach by calculating Time Series Analysis Demand Forecasting and Economic Order Quantity Material Resource Planning.
