Abstract

Presbyopia is a visual disorder related to age. It occurs lens stiffness with adding the age in presbyopia in order to lens ability to focus shadow when looking can be near. This research aimed to know the characteristics of presbyopia patients at eye health center Makassar in the period of January-December 2018. The research design is a descriptive study using secondary data. The number of samples in this study were 97 medical record data selected by purposive sampling and analyzed by univariate and bivariate.  The results showed that as many as 97 patients, the majority were 64 women (34%), the majority of the presbyopia were at the age of 40-45 years as many as 23 people (23.7%). Based on the characteristics of the presbyope patient, there were 48 patients (49.5%) suffering from hypermetropic presbyopia, while 18 patients (18.5%) suffered from other presbyopes such as premature presbyopia (early). It is hoped that the provision of information about presbyopia can be scientific support for the optometrist practice program.

Abstract

Data from Puskesmas Betoambari show hypertension is often in the top 10 highest diseases in the puskesmas with increasing in cases in the last 3 years. In 2016 the number of cases was 109 cases, in 2017 was 580 cases and in 2018 was 580 cases. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between Prolanis program, gymnastics, and hypertension controliing in the working area of Puskesmas Betoambari Baubau City. This is analytical observational with cross sectional study design. The population of this study is all participants Prolanis with hypertension in the puskesmas numbered 40 people. This study find that there is a relationship between the Prolanis and hypertension controlling in the working area of Puskesmas Betoambari. Puskesmas officers need to maximalize prolanis activities in order to motivate the community to follow every activity carried out to lower blood pressure.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is the poor nutritional status of a person is caused by the lack of consumption of food sources of energy that contain macronutrients that lasts long or years. CED in pregnant women will cause problems for both mother and fetus. There are several factors that can cause CED in pregnant women including age, family income, food expenditure, etc. This study aims to determine the relationship age, family income, and food expenditure with CED in pregnant women in  Makassar city on 2020. This study was conducted on 104 people. To detect CED in pregnant women by measuring the mid upper arm circumference (MUAC) using MUAC ribbon. Age, family income, and food expenditure are measured using questionnaires  of modification from national social economic survey on 2017, and univariate analyses and bivariates using SPSS 24. The results of the study showed the relation of age with CED in pregnant women obtained significant value (p value = 0,305), relation of family income with CED in pregnant women obtained significant value (p value = 0,270), and  relation of food expenditure with CED in pregnant women obtained significant value (p value = 0,452). There aren’t relationship age, family income, and food expenditure with CED in pregnant women in Makassar city on 2020.

Abstract

PHBS is all personal health behavior because of personal awareness so that the family and all its members are able to help themselves in the health sector and get an active role in community activities (Kemenkes RI, 2016). This research contains quantitative research using descriptive methods. The population of this research is housewives in Kabawo District. From the survey data, the number of RTs in Kabawo District spread over 10 villages 1 Kelurahan is 2899 families. With up to 91 families. The method used is Random Sampling / Probability Sampling. Where the techniques and samples that researchers use are random, regardless of the sample on the basis of strata or social status of any way by lot. The result of this study obtained during the covid-19 pandemic, delivery assistance by health workers was 92,3%, Exclusive breastfeeding was 87,9%, The use of healthy latrines was 84,6%, Entirely using clean water was 100%.  Washing hands using clean water and soap was 91,2%, Weighing babies and toddlers was 95,6%, Eradicating mosquito larvae was 65.9%, Consuming fruits and vegetables was 98.9%, physical activity was 98.9%, 68,1% were still smoking indoors. Health workers are expected to always improve community health services, especially regarding PHBS activities and families are expected to always increase knowledge so that they are able to carry out daily PHBS

Abstract

Kinerja adalah hasil kerja yang dicapai seseorang atau sekelompok orang dalam suatu organisasi sesuai wewenang dan tanggung jawabnya. Kinerja yang baik dapat dicapai dengan meningkatkan motivasi kerja. Semakin tinggi motivasi kerja seseorang maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap Melati dan Seruni RSUD Dr.M.Yunus Bengkulu. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada hubungan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja perawat di ruang Melati dan Seruni RSUD Dr.M.Yunus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja perawat di ruang Melati dan Seruni RSUD Dr.M.Yunus Bengkulu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan menggunakan rancangan cross sectional. poplasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat di ruang rawat inap Melati dan Seruni RSUD Dr. M.Yunus Bengkulu yang berjumlah 43 oraang perawat.. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan Uji Rank Spearmen Hasil penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan Uji Rank Spearmen didapat nilai significancy (sig) sebesar 0,220 dengan p-value=0,156. Karena nilai p>0,05, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja perawat di ruang rawat inap Melati dan Seruni RSUD Dr.M.Yunus Bengkulu. Saran yang dapat diberikan kepada RSUD Dr. M.Yunus Bengkulu, diharapakan dapat terus menjaga dan meningkatkan kinerja dalam lingkungan organisasi dan memberikan perhatian lebih kepada perawat yang ada sehingga perawat lebih termotivasi untuk menampilkan kinerja yang lebih baik

Abstract

The number of diarrhea cases in children under five in Jambi City in 2019 was 3,621 cases. Of the 20 existing community health centers, the Putri Ayu community health center had the highest prevalence, namely 11.79% cases of diarrhea in children under five. Kelurahan Legok is a sub-district in the working area of the Putri Ayu community health center with the highest cases of diarrhea in under-five, namely 45 cases. The research design was case control. The sample of the research case was 45 mothers who had diarrhea with toddler, the control sample was 45 mothers who had no diarrhea. The research instruments were questionnaires and observation sheets. Data collection techniques are interviews and observation. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test. The analysis showed that 73.2% of respondents had low risk clean water facilities, 57.1% of respondents had medium risk latrines and 60.7% of respondents had good parenting styles. The biariat results showed a relationship between clean water facilities (p = 0.016; OR = 6.25), latrine risk level (p = 0.015; OR = 4.6) and parenting patterns (p = 0.014; OR = 4.9) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in the Kelurahan Legok, the Working Area of the Putri Ayu community health center, Jambi City in 2020. The community health center conducts community empowerment in relation to the availability of basic sanitation facilities to reduce the risk of diarrhea incidence Increase parental awareness in preventing diarrhea through efforts to improve maternal parenting, both feeding practices, caring for toddlers, maintaining personal and toddler hygiene and time to interact with toddlers.
