Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving three types of manure on the growth of spinach (Amaranthus sp). The research was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of KH.A. Wahab Hasbullah from December 2022 to March 2023. The material used was pulled spinach seeds (Amaranthus tricolor L.) Panah Merah’s brand is produced by P.T. East West Seed Indonesia, processed organic fertilizer made from cows of Faculty of Agriculture, University of KH.A. Wahab Hasbullah (PK1), goats obtained from P4S Bengkel Mimpi Malang (PK2), and chickens from processed livestock products (PK3). After 30 days of planting, it was found that the addition of manure from three types of ruminant waste had a better effect on plant height, number and leaf area of spinach than the control. Manure as raw material for goat manure had significant plant height (21.25 cm), number of leaves (8.33), and leaf area (3.72 cm2) compared to the other 2 treatments manure and control

Abstract

Rose apple is one of the horticultural commodities favored by the Indonesian people. Cultivation using planter bags is popular due to several advantages, such as faster fruiting and shorter plants, making them easier to harvest. Proper care, especially in the use of organic and inorganic fertilizers, greatly influences the results expected by farmers. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of manure and potassium sulfate on plant height, stem diameter, number of new leaf shoots, and leaf greenness. The research was conducted using quantitative methods with observations every 14 days. The results showed that the combination of fertilizers affected the number of new leaf shoots on rose apple plants (Syzygium aqueum). The best treatment was KH6 (100 grams of potassium sulfate, 200 grams of goat manure, and 200 grams of cow manure), but it was not significantly different from KH2 (150 grams of potassium sulfate, 250 grams of goat manure, and 250 grams of cow manure) and KH8 (150 grams of potassium sulfate, 150 grams of goat manure, and 150 grams of cow manure). The combination of fertilizers also affected leaf greenness at 14 DAT but did not affect it at 28 DAT and 42 DAT. The H2 treatment (200 grams of goat manure and 200 grams of cow manure) produced the greenest leaves compared to all other treatments but was not significantly different from KH3 (100 grams of potassium sulfate, 250 grams of goat manure, and 250 grams of cow manure).

Abstract

Currently, the conversion of agricultural land is a serious problem that occurs in every region, including in Jombang Regency. Land conversion has various impacts, including a decrease in farmers' income and even farmers are threatened with losing their livelihoods. The purpose of this research is to forecast or predict the harvest area of rice plants in Jombang Regency. The data used in this research is secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Jombang Regency in 2025. Data analysis uses the triple exponential smoothing forecasting method. The forecasting results show that the harvest area of food crops in the form of rice in the Jombang Regency area in 2025 starting from quarter 1 (Q1) to quarter 3 (Q3) has decreased significantly. The highest harvest area was in quarter 1 (Q1) amounting to 27,304.43 Ha and the lowest rice harvest area was in quarter 3 (Q3) with a harvest area of 10,675.47 Ha.

Abstract

The existence of food crops and horticultural crops is very important so it is necessary to see the level of welfare of farmers of food crops and horticultural crops. An indicator that is very often used to measure the level of welfare of farmers of food crops and horticultural crops is the farmer exchange rate or more commonly called NTP. This study uses time series data from January 2024 to March 2025. Data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of East Java Province in 2025. Data analysis using the trend moment method. The results obtained show that in April 2025 the NTP for food crops was 97.27 and the NTP for horticultural crops was 139.76.

Abstract

Clover is generally used as a remedy for sore throat, mouth sores, fever, and shortness of breath.. This research was conducted to determine the process of making a healthy drink and organoleptic test from turmeric and clover. This study uses the RAL method withfive levels and four repetitions, so this study use twenty experimental units were obtained. Sample is made as K1 is clover 30%;turmeric 70%, K2 is clover 40%; tumeric 60%, K3 is clover 50%; tumeric 50%, K4 is clover 60%; turmeric 40%, K5 is clover 70%;tumeric 30%. Data analysis used descriptive, qualitative methods. The process of making healthy tumeric drinks combinationwith clover. Healthy tumeric drinks by mashing clover leaves and turmeric leaves, filtering, cooking until boiling then adding sugar, stirring slowly over medium heat, and speeding up the mix when it has clotted to get fine crystals. The cause of the color change is influenced by the crystallization temperature. The aroma of sugar caramel in the healthy drink of clover and turmeric and the taste is sweet. The acceptance variable is in great demand in the combination of 50% clover leaf K3 and 50% turmeric leaf.
