Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of the Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model integrated with project-based worksheets on students' Science Process Skills (SPS). The approach in this study is a quantitative with a quasi-experimental research type using the Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population is fifth-grade students of SDN 3 Parepare, and the sample used in this study were all students in class V.1 as an experimental class and class V.3 as a control class. Data were obtained by an essay SPS test. The data analysis used was the Independent Sample T-test. The results showed that in the experimental class, in addition to being guided by project-based worksheets, each learning syntax has directed students to carry out project completion procedures using their SPS, such as observing, concluding, classifying, making predictions, and communicating the results. Based on the inferential statistical analysis with the T-Test, it produces a Sig value (2tailed) = 0.000 <0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. Thus, there is a difference in SPS in the control and experimental classes. The conclusion is that there is an influence of the CLIS learning model of project-based worksheets on students' SPS.

The research has used instruments in the form of questions that consist of pre-test and post-test, questionnaires as supporting data and TGT teaching modules. The test instrument was supported by the results of a student questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing using paired samples t-test. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, the significance value is 0.000. The significance value obtained is 0.000 <0.05 error level. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, which means that there is an effect of the application of TGT assisted by Math Journal on students' numeracy skills. This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Elsa Speak application as a learning media to improve students’ English-speaking skills in the extra class at MA Al-Bairuny. The research used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group taught using the AI-based Elsa Speak application, and a control group taught without the application. The research began with a pre-test to assess students’ speaking abilities. The average pre-test score of the experimental group was 57.33, while the control group had an average of 61.67. During the treatment, the experimental group practiced speaking using Elsa Speak, which offers features such as pronunciation analysis and instant feedback. The control group continued learning through traditional methods without the application. After the treatment, a post-test was conducted. The experimental group showed significant improvement with an average score of 70.00, increasing by 12.67 points. Meanwhile, the control group showed only slight progress, with an average post-test score of 62.33, an increase of just 0.67 points. The results indicate that Elsa Speak is effective in improving students’ pronunciation, fluency, and confidence.
