Abstract

This research investigates the "privacy paradox," a phenomenon in which individuals, particularly university students, express concerns about data privacy but fail to implement effective measures to protect their personal information. The study seeks to identify key factors influencing students' awareness and behaviors concerning personal data security while proposing strategies to improve their knowledge and practices in the face of accelerating digital advancements. Employing a Systematic Literature Review using the PRISMA method, this research analyzed articles published between 2014 and 2023 to explore pertinent themes. The results indicate that students frequently disregard privacy policies and security protocols, leaving them susceptible to data breaches. Although they articulate concerns about threats from social media, university networks, and smartphones, their actions often contradict these concerns. This inconsistency arises from limited understanding of data collection processes and a perception of ineffectiveness in privacy protection efforts. The study underscores the importance of educational initiatives, such as cybersecurity training, phishing awareness programs, and the integration of advanced security technologies like blockchain and encryption. Furthermore, the enactment of Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Bill (PDP Bill) is identified as a critical step toward strengthening the legal framework for data security. Collectively, these measures aim to mitigate privacy risks and enhance students' compliance and awareness in safeguarding their personal data.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of implementing Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology in football through a systematic literature review covering journals, books, research reports, and online articles. The analysis focuses on publications from the last five years ( from accredited international and national journals. Literature selection was conducted to ensure that only studies relevant to VAR in the context of professional football were analyzed. The results show that VAR improves the fairness and accuracy of referee decisions, especially in reducing fouls, offsides, and bias against the home team. This technology strengthens the integrity of the match, although there is still criticism that the length of the review slows down the rhythm of the game. From a business perspective, VAR has a positive impact on increasing club and league revenues through broadcasting rights, tickets, and merchandise, as well as attracting new sponsors by strengthening the image of professionalism in the competition. This study provides practical recommendations for league organizers in implementing VAR consistently and efficiently. Technological innovations such as semi-automated offside technology (SAOT) and artificial intelligence (AI) are projected to speed up the review process and increase transparency, supporting the growth of a fairer and more competitive modern football.

Abstract

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) has become the main approach in improving data security in various information systems. This study analyzes the implementation of RBAC in the context of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications and cloud-based, mobile, and multi-domain systems. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology, this study synthesizes findings from various studies to evaluate the effectiveness of RBAC in addressing challenges such as data privacy, regulatory compliance, and access policy complexity. The results show that the integration of intelligent technologies, such as machine learning (decision tree and random forest algorithms) for user behavior analysis, natural language processing for policy interpretation, and blockchain to record access activities with a security increase of up to 37%, can increase the flexibility and efficiency of RBAC, especially in detecting anomalies and managing dynamic policies. In addition, automation in RBAC deployments has been proven to reduce operational costs by 42% and management time by up to 65% compared to traditional manual approaches. However, RBAC implementation also faces significant challenges, including the need to adapt to complex regulations and the dynamics of a multi-domain environment. This research makes a theoretical contribution by expanding the understanding of the role of RBAC in modern data security management and offering practical recommendations for optimizing RBAC implementation. Thus, RBAC has proven to be a relevant and reliable model in answering data security needs in the digital era.

Abstract

The telecommunications sector in Indonesia has experienced rapid development in recent years, characterized by the increasing number of telecommunications operators offering various services and products. Therefore, there is competitive rivalry among operators. The right strategy is needed to survive and compete effectively. One of the efforts that can be made by telecommunication companies is to evaluate operational performance. This research aims to analyze the sentiment of X users towards telecommunication operational performance, at Telkomsel and Tri operators using text mining methods, namely Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Decision Tree Learning (DTL). The research data is obtained by crawling from the X application, then the data is processed to remove unnecessary words or affixes. Then data modeling and validation is carried out using split validation and cross validation techniques. In the split validation technique, the data is divided into 70% training data and 30% testing data, while in the cross-validation technique the fold parameter is set to determine which fold has the highest accuracy. The results of the study show that the SVM method has the highest accuracy, where in split validation the accuracy is 84.29% for Telkomsel data and 75.70% for Tri data. Similarly, in cross validation, the accuracy is 82.15% on fold 4, 7 for Telkomsel data and 61.41% on fold 9 for Tri data. In addition, it is known that Telkomsel data has 18.64% positive sentiment and 81.36% negative sentiment. While Tri data has 61.11% positive sentiment and 38.89% negative sentiment.

Abstract

Information technology has become a key element in improving operational efficiency and data management in various sectors. PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I, which is one of the companies operating in the plantation sector, utilizes this technology to optimize its internal processes. One of the company's main concerns is the internship program, which was previously managed manually, giving rise to various problems, including time inefficiency, high costs, and difficulties for prospective participants in monitoring their registration status. This research seeks to create a web-based information system designed to streamline the internship registration process, enhance efficiency, and alleviate the administrative load on the company. The method used in this approach is the waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Data was obtained through direct observation, interviews with employees, and literature study. This system was designed using PHP and the Laravel framework, as well as MySQL as the database system. The results of this research show that this information system speeds up the internship registration process, allows prospective participants to register and monitor their status online, and helps companies manage data in a structured and accurate way.

Abstract

This study conducted an audit of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) of the University of Merdeka Malang using the COBIT 5 Framework, especially in the domain of deliver, service, and support (DSS). This audit aims to assess the effectiveness, security, and efficiency of information systems in supporting the academic process system. The data collection method used is surveys and interviews with resource persons. 54 respondents consisting of system managers, staff and siakad users. The results of the analysis show that the maturity level of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) is at level 4 (managed and measurable), with an average score of 3.71. Although in the good category, there is still a gap between the expected level of maturity and the current level. Some areas that must be considered are suboptimal problem documentation, improved system security measures, and lack of an automatic notification system to facilitate communication between system managers or admins and users. The results of this audit are expected to be a reference for Academic Information System managers in improving the performance of the information system as a whole, so that it can support the academic process more effectively, efficiently and safety.

Abstract

The rapid growth of application-based transportation services in Indonesia has generated a large volume of user reviews that contain essential information for service development. However, significant challenges arise in processing and analyzing data on a large scale. This study utilizes Hadoop and Apache Spark technology to conduct sentiment analysis on online transportation application reviews, focusing on Gojek user reviews. The dataset comprises 1.880.112  reviews obtained from Kaggle and Google Play Store. The research method includes data preprocessing using distributed computing with Hadoop and Spark, followed by sentiment labeling based on user ratings. The sentiment analysis model used is Logistic Regression, with hyperparameter tuning through Cross Validation. The evaluation results show a model accuracy of 80%, demonstrating the model's capability in effectively classifying sentiments, supported by PySpark implementation which enables efficient training and evaluation processes despite working with large-scale datasets. Text visualization in the form of a word cloud reveals that negative sentiment is often associated with app performance and digital wallet issues, while neutral sentiment focuses more on driver services. On the other hand, positive sentiment highlights user satisfaction with the overall service. The findings of this study demonstrate the effectiveness of Hadoop in large-scale sentiment analysis processing and provide valuable insights for improving online transportation services.

Abstract

The implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in Supply Chain Management (SCM) has become an important strategy for companies across various industry sectors worldwide. ERP helps integrate various business functions into a coordinated system, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting a company's competitiveness in the global market. However, ERP implementation is not without challenges. High costs, resistance to change within organizations, and the complexity of integration with existing systems are major obstacles to implementation. The success of ERP implementation depends heavily on key factors such as strong support from top management, readiness of human resources, and selecting the right system according to the company's needs. Comprehensive training and effective change management are necessary to ensure employees can adapt to the new system. This study emphasizes the importance of regular evaluations to ensure the ERP system functions properly and delivers optimal benefits. Additionally, the research also suggests exploring more flexible ERP implementation strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as integrating the latest technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain to enhance supply chain efficiency. Further research is expected to provide new insights into best practices and innovations in ERP implementation across various industry sectors.

Abstract

Ikhlas Travel is a travel agency based in Medan. Ikhlas Travel also has car rental services. At this time the existing system at Ikhlas Travel is still not in accordance with what is needed by prospective clients. This is because the ticket booking system is still done manually. Ikhlas Travel also provides car rental services where the system used in previous reservations is still via telephone, through personal to personal information and is still not computerized. With this Information System, it is very helpful in supporting the needs of prospective clients to get information in a relatively fast time. With that we need an information system that can provide information on ordering tickets and car rentals online based on a website, so that this information system can be easily accessed by prospective clients. Therefore, a website-based information system for Booking Tour and Travel Packages on Ikhlas Travel was created to make it easier for prospective clients to order. This website-based system was developed using the PHP programming language and the Laravel Framework. As for the system design method to be used is Rapid Application Development (RAD). Therefore, this computerized Tour and Travel Package Ordering System can be a solution that can be used on Ikhlas Travel to make it easier for prospective customers to order tour packages, so that later the system used can run efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to predict Indonesia's oil and gas (migas) export values using the Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) methods. Time series data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) was utilized to develop an optimal prediction model. The selected SARIMA model, SARIMA(1,1,1)(1,1,1,12), was chosen based on the lowest Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) value. Meanwhile, the LSTM model was developed to capture more complex patterns in time series data. The forecasting results indicate that the SARIMA model provides higher accuracy compared to LSTM based on the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), although LSTM demonstrated lower Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). This study emphasizes that the choice of forecasting model should align with the characteristics of the data, where SARIMA is more suitable for oil and gas export data with seasonal patterns. These forecasting results can be utilized to support economic policy planning, optimize investments in the oil and gas sector, and mitigate global market fluctuation risks.
