Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of promotion through social media on interest in buying Instagram fashion on Urban Casual account followers. The type of research that we use in this research is descriptive qualitative research. In detail, qualitative provides space for researchers to explore descriptively about the phenomenon under study, in order to obtain a policy to take action or attitude. The population in this study were all followers on the Urban Casual Instagram account. The types and sources of data in this study were collected based on the grouping of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews with the owner of the urban casual, namely Muhamad Ridho Amarudin, as well as through field observations. Secondary data is data obtained from existing journals and documents, while the data collection technique is through triangulation collection techniques. Analysis of the test data used is a narrative analysis technique, where this narrative analysis focuses more on how the marketing strategy plan is carried out by the owner of Urban Casual. The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant positive effect between promotion through Instagram social media on fashion buying interest on Urban casual account followers. This is evidenced from the results of the sales table in 2019 to 2021. where this narrative analysis focuses more on how the marketing strategy plan is carried out by the owner of Urban Casual. Abstract

Humans are social creatures who live and must always socialize with other humans around them. Therefore, humans must have the courage to speak or what is commonly called public speaking. If humans have the courage to speak up, then humans can run public relations in a company. In this scientific paper of our group, we use descriptive quantitative research methods. Descriptive quantitative is a method in researching the status of human groups, an object, a condition, a system of thought or a class of events in the present mass, the aim is to make a descriptive, picture or painting about public relations in marketing products to the public. In the research that we did by collecting interview data, we found out how the strategies were created by several public relations actors. On average, these actors use online marketing strategies and also some do marketing by including brochures about products that are marketed to the company or the nearest office by providing discounts or attractive prices

Abstract

Humans need communication to help survival, one of which is by using language as a means of communication. Language is the most effective communication tool in conveying messages, thoughts, feelings, goals to others and allows for creating cooperation between humans. So that the role of language becomes very dominant in various human daily activities. The purpose of this study is to describe matters relating to language as a means of communication and communication in everyday life. The method used in this research is the literature review method, the data is collected from relevant literature data. The result of this research and discussion is to explain about language as a communication tool which discusses the function of language as a human communication tool which includes five basic functions, namely the function of expression, the function of information, the function of exploration, the function of persuasion, and the function of entertainment. And explain about communication in everyday life which discusses why we communicate and the language used when communicating in everyday life. As social beings, of course humans in their lives need communication to be able to establish relationships with other humans. Language is the most effective tool or medium for conveying thoughts, with human language being able to interact and talk about anything.

Abstract

This paper has the title, "Utilization of the TikTok Application During the COVID-19 Pandemic". The purpose of this study is as a tool to find out the phenomenon of Tiktok application users in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, how the motives of Tiktok application users are, the actions of Tiktok application users and what is the meaning of using the Tiktok application in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research methods and methods that have been used by researchers in conducting this research are the Phenomenological method, with the type of qualitative research, and the data collection technique of research results is done by means of online interviews. The interviews conducted involved several users of the Tiktok application itself. Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the impact of technology on the work productivity of New Normal Café. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis approach. Based on the results of research technology is one of the important factors that can support the success of a company in achieving work productivity. By utilizing every available technology, the productivity of every New Normal Café workforce is increasing, so that New Normal Cafe can maintain company turnover during the covid-19 pandemic which only allows 50% of visitors from the cafe's total capacity. It can be concluded that to achieve work productivity, companies must optimize every existing technology, because every job and company operations are increasingly effective

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of parental communication on children's growth and development. This study uses a qualitative approach. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling, which determines the informants as the people who know best, the sources in this study are 6 residents of Tegallega Village, Lembursitu District, Lembursitu Village, Sukabumi City. Data collection techniques using online interviews. Based on the results, it can be seen that from the data that can be interpreted, family communication is very important for children's growth and development, from observations and interviews there are still parents who even have difficulty knowing their children's daily lives and controlling their children because they are busy working and only have little time to spend together

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teaching style of lecturers on student learning motivation at the Islamic University of Nusantara Bandung, the study program of communication science. The type of research used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection method in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 15 Uninus students of the communication science study program at random, and conducting a survey on the answers from the 15 resource persons. From the results of this study, almost 100% of the informants agreed that the teaching style of lecturers in the new normal era was very influential on understanding a material and their learning motivation. The more attractive the lecturer's teaching style, the easier it is to understand the material

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the use of social media Instagram in shaping the lifestyle of teenagers in Kutamandiri Village. The method used is descriptive research that uses a qualitative approach. Based on the research results, Instagram is the dominant social media used by teenagers. Instagram has a very interesting feature so that teenagers often interact on Instagram. The results of this study are Instagram can shape the lifestyle of teenagers, because Instagram provides access for teenagers to express themselves freely in public. Teenagers' lifestyles change and they are formed from their interests and interests with lifestyles that become a place to exist for others.

Abstract

Gadgets are tools that are used to communicate or are also used to find information and much more. Gadgets should not be used by small children. Because the impact of using gadgets on small children is very bad for their psyche. Parents should accompany the child when holding the gadget. Provide education or provide other things besides gadgets. If small children are addicted to gadgets, it will be difficult to direct them. In this scientific paper, we use qualitative research methods and interview data collection techniques. The results of the research that has been carried out on the use of gadgets by children are that children will lose respect for their parents, children will always depend on gadgets, children will forget their health and always play their gadgets
