Abstract

This empirical investigation aimed to determine the influence of the perceived presence of compensation and work environment toward job satisfaction and employee performance using samples from employers of PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional, Tbk in Sumbagteng Area. Total of 161 questionnairs were given to selected employee and used for statistical analysis.Employee performance measures of some factors such as target reaches, operational standard, employee competences,working quantity and quality, workship between employees, creativityand consistences of employees. While for job satisfaction direct by satisfaction factor of the employees themselves to all facilities that given by the company include workingship between the employees in company environment. Compensation variable factor by salary, subsidy, insentive,bonus, health insurance, and availiability promotion chance. Work environment variable consist of factor such as comfortable placing of work, facilities, workship, and comunication. Analysis use Structural Equation Model (SEM) with result show that compensation and work environment have influence direct and indirect to job satisfaction and employee performance. This is evidenced with Critical Ratio (CR) value in above 2,00 and Parameter (P) value in under 0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui empiris mengenai model prediksi financial distress pada perusahaan dengan kategori laba negatif dan laba positif di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Model financial distress yang digunakan adalah : Altman Modifikasi, Springate, Zmijewsky dan Groever. Objek dari penelitian adalah perusahaan dengan laba negatif dan sebagai pembanding perusahaan dengan laba positif, sedangkan periode penelitian adalah tahun 2009 -2012. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan analisis statistik yaitu analisis regresi logistik.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model Altman Modifikasi dan Model Springate dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi financial distress dengan tingkat signifikansi masing-masing 0,036 dan 0,048. Sedangkan Model Zmijesky dan Model Groever tidak dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi financial distress dengan tingkat signifikansi masing-masing 0,152 dan 0,560. Dan dari keempat model tersebut model altman modifikasi berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan nilai rata-rata akurasi tertinggi dibandingakan dengan model lain yang digunakan untuk memprediksi kondisi financial distress perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to test the Influence of Competence, Independence and Professionalism on Audit Quality Inspectorate officers of Riau Province. The sampling method using a census because the total population is less than 100.The author conducted research through questionnaires that are sent to respondances. Author used Multiple regretion methode in analysing the data, which its independent variables are competence (X1), independence (X2) and profesionalism (X3), thus its dependent variable is audit quality (Y). Multiple regretion model was tested which coefficient of determination (R2), F test and t test and the data is processed with the statistical program SPSS 17.00.Based on research found that tvalue for every variables X1, X2 and X3 are 9.101, 2.306, and 1.691 with ttable is 2,024, its show that tvalue more than ttable in term of competence and independence, whereas professionalism show that tvalue less than ttable. These values show that competence and independence variables have significant influences to quality of audit of Inspectorate officers Riau Province. Whereas professionalism variable does not have significant influence to quality of audit of Inspectorate officers Riau Province. Therefore, based on the research R value is 0,836 with adjusted R2 is 0,676. Value of the coefficient of determination indicates that the competence, independence, and professionalism contribute to the dependent variable (quality audit) of 67,6%, while the remaining 32,4% are influenced by other outside factor model
