Abstract

This paper shows the utility of natural sensors for the observing of crop from a distance in a greenhouse. The work joins the instrumentation methods with the information-based framework. Agriculturalists can know the state of plants and crop output. Traditional methods only focus on crop growth and its yield. To help landowners, we planned a specialist-based crop observing framework. This examination aims to focus on a specialist-based framework to assist the agriculturists with checking the yields from a distance by utilizing the satellite imaging technique. The framework is separated into principal two fundamental parts. The initial one is information procurement and the other one is the proposal part. The readings of vital ecological boundaries are taken and turned into a simulation. Variety handling procedures are utilized to track down the nitrogen lack in the green plants this technique will give adequate data about future situations of nitrogen content in the plants.

Abstract

Semi-rigid connections are very economical compared to other connections because they can prevent the frame from breaking immediately due to brittleness without endangering the entire structure. Steel frame construction is one of the types of construction described in the building codes for simple seismic buildings. The research on the use of this semi-rigid connection uses one of the computer software that uses the finite element method, namely ANSYS ED.9, by taking validation models from experimental and manual calculation analysis and using 35 research models with different loads, positions and number of bolts and types of portal bracing. The ability to survive on the gantry due to side loads is dominated by the number and position of the bolts and the type of gantry stiffener used, this is evident from the different models, with the rise ratio in each model ranging from 0.7852 to 2.5900 and in ranges of softening compared to clamped stiffeners, which experience a decrease in stress, with the same ratio.

Abstract

Decision-making in logistics is becoming increasingly complex task for businesses such as agriculture, food production, and construction, as it requires decisions at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels, as well as consideration of the triple bottom line. Undoubtedly, decision support systems (DSS) played a crucial role in resolving the difficulties related with decision-making in sustainable logistics. The objective of this work is to investigate the status of research in the domain of DSS for logistics, taking sustainability into account. It is of the utmost importance to determine the prospective areas and significance of this research. By doing a bibliometric analysis, the purpose of this study is to illustrate the scientific research on the Decision Support System in Logistics. Using the Scopus database's VOSviewer programme and data analysis tool, the analysis was conducted. From 1985 to 2022, a total of 1091 papers on DSS and logistics connected to consumers were retrieved from the Scopus database. To show the progression of research ideas in this discipline, co-citation analysis and co-word analysis were undertaken. Transportation decision-making, decision analysis, and intelligence algorithm have been identified as the three primary study clusters relevant to the current research interest. This study's findings may assist researchers in comprehending the nature of Decision Support System research pertaining to logistics from around the world and in determining future research directions.

Abstract

The move towards the microservice grounded armature is well underway. In this architectural style, small and approximately coupled modules are developed, stationed, and gauged singly to compose pall-native operations. still, for carrier- grade service providers to resettle to the microservices architectural style, vacuity remains a concern. Kubernetes is an open source platform that defines a set of structure blocks which inclusively give mechanisms for planting, maintaining, spanning, and healing containerized microservices. therefore, Kubernetes hides the complexity of microservice unity while managing their vacuity. In this paper, we probe further infrastructures and conduct further trials to estimate the vacuity that Kubernetes delivers for its managed microservices. We present different infrastructures for public and private shadows. We estimate the vacuity attainable through the mending capability of Kubernetes. We probe the impact of adding redundancy on the vacuity of microservice grounded operations. We conduct trials under the dereliction configuration of Kubernetes as well as under its most responsive bone . We also perform a relative evaluation with the Vacuity operation Framework( AMF), which is a proven result as a middleware service for managing high- vacuity. The results of our examinations show that in certain cases, the service outage for operations managed with Kubernetes is significantly high

Abstract

Jordan is part of the structuring of the international Qualification Framework. The Jordan qualification framework, JNQF, is a national strategy for managing and regulating all national qualifications in the education and training sectors in a single comprehensive qualification framework. The JNQF consists of 10 levels for both academic and vocational pathways. The descriptors of JNQF which are designed in terms of learning outcomes, help to map the vertical level of complexity of a particular qualification and help to clarify its horizontal orientation, be this knowledge, skills, or competences. The main advantages of JNQF are: enhancing the image of vocational education and training (VET), bridging the academic and vocational pathways, facilitating lifelong learning, shifting the paradigm from input-oriented learning/training into leaning outcomes-based, recognizing individual learning pathways and opening up the possibilities to bring closer education/training providers in the labor market.

Abstract

Air pollution has a substantial negative impact on human wellbeing and health. Cardiorespiratory mortality is one of the primary effects of air pollution. In this study, we provide analysis of air pollution, cardiorespiratory mortality and the cardiorespiratory mortality is predicted based on air pollution using tree-based ensemble models. The tree-based ensemble models utilized in this study are Voting Regressor (VR), Random Forest (RF), Gradient Tree Boosting (GB), and Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost). The used dataset contains data for five research locations: Shah Alam (SA), Klang (KLN), Putrajaya (PUJ), Cheras, Kuala Lumpur (CKL), and Petaling Jaya (PJ) from January 2006 to December 2016. The results show that XGBoost and VR models outperformed the rest of the models with the best evaluation metric scores in the Klang study area, XGBoost(MAE:0.005, RMSE:0.010, MAPE:0.70%) and VR (MAE:0.005, RMSE:0.011, MAPE:0.70%). The results reveal that the utilized models provided an excellent and accurate prediction of cardiorespiratory mortality based on air pollution and can follow the trend of cardiorespiratory mortality.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to evaluate the most generally used techniques for measuring the thermal conductivity of concrete, as well as to consider the variables influencing the thermal conductivity of cement-based materials. Based on previous research indicating that the pattern of heat flow can be modeled in a numerical analysis program and provide a hue of coverage and differences in indoor temperature conditions, as well as the impact that occurs on several elements in the room, a heat simulation analysis was performed in this study due to a fire. The researchers in this study simulated the flow pattern from the temperature that occurred due to fire in a room measuring 4000x4000 mm with a wall thickness of 200 mm with Hebel/light brick material, floor plate thickness was 120 mm, and the size of the building column structural elements was 400x400 mm with the material reinforced concrete. According to the simulation results of a fire that occurred in the middle of the room with two conditions for installing hebel walls, namely covering the building structure columns and those behind the building structure columns, there is an increase in the temperature of the column with a ratio of 1.062 in the two conditions where the temperature of the wall lining the column is 6.28% lower than the temperature of the wall behind the column, while the heat flux magnitude that occurs is lower.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to provide a review of the different hybrid agile models. This study raised the question “what are the types of hybrid agile models and their features”? The systematic review was done using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Model for comprehensive searching. Scopus is used as the database for searching articles. A total of 131 papers related to agile and hybrid agile models were retrieved and finally after screening and filtering, only 26 papers were included in the study. This paper probes into the features of agile and hybrid agile models and thus recommends hybrid agile models as one of the best-suited models in software development due to several reasons. Some of the reasons are due to its comprehensiveness in managing a large-scale project with good documentation and developing better methods for business analysis. This paper concludes by providing insight into the different types of hybrid agile models in software development. This paper starts with an Introduction section, followed by a Materials and Method section, continued with a Results and Discussion section, and finally concludes the research in the Conclusion section.

Abstract

The Non-Performing Financing (NPF) indicator of one of the Islamic Banks in Indonesia in the 1st to 3rd quarter of 2021 in a row of 9.69%; 9.97%; 9.46%. The NPF movement tends to improve slightly from time to time but still exceeds the maximum limit stipulated in Bank Indonesia’s Regulation Number 23/2/PBI/2021, which is no more than 5%. This shows that the Islamic bank has a financing performance that can be said to be less good. Preventive steps that can be taken to reduce the NPF ratio in order to improve the health of the bank is to classify prospective financing customers. This research was conducted using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC), Decision Tree, and Logistics Regression classification methods to predict potential financing customers. The dataset is divided into 80% training and 20% testing. It was found that the best classification result was the Naive Bayes Classifier in the proportion of distribution of 80% training data and 20% testing data with an accuracy value of 84.69%, sensitivity of 58.25%, and specificity of 90.16%.

Abstract

Recent technological advances aim to recognise user data using biometrics such as the face, fingerprint, hand veins and iris. Currently, face prints are widely used to verify user data in e-passports. As a result, institutions face substantial difficulties in maintaining an appropriate level of security. Human error can introduce flaws that undermine security mechanisms. One potential solution to this problem is to install a facial recognition security system. Both hardware and software components make up this system, with the hardware being a camera and the software comprising face detection and identification algorithms. The purpose of this essay is to provide a thorough understanding of the Face Recognition Security System, including its application and deployment. Furthermore, the essay investigates the various weaknesses and methods of attack that could be used to target the system. The purpose of addressing these factors is to improve the effectiveness and robustness of system security, notably e-passport security.
