Abstract

The teaching and learning process often does not run smoothly, which is influenced by several factors, one of which is caused by the use of the learning model planned by the teacher that does not support students to be able to improve their ability to think creatively independently. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of discovery learning models on the creative thinking ability of students of class XI MIPA in SMA Negeri 1 Sekampung. This research uses quantitative research. The research to be carried out is a quasi-experimental study with a group pretest-posttest design. Based on the results of the hypothesis test analysis, regarding the effect of discovery learning models on the creative thinking ability of students of class XI MIPA in SMA Negeri 1 Sekampung it can be concluded that the discovery learning models influence the student's creative thinking abilities, evidenced by the relevant hypothesis test result namely t-test that thit (8,17) is greater than tdaf (1,67) in the 0,05 significance level.

Abstract

The aims of this study are 1) To determine the effect of the use of a mixture of moringa leaf flour and rice bran on the growth of quails (Coturnix-coturnix japonica T), 2) To find out a good variation of feed for the growth of quails, 3) To find out whether the results of this study can be used as a source of learning biology for growth and development material in class XII in the form of student worksheets (LKPD). This research was an experiment, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 1 control, 3 treatments, and 6 replications, with P0: (Control) treatment of quail feed in the form of pellet feed BR 21, P1: treatment of supplementary feeding in the form of a mixture of moringa leaf flour 3%, 47% bran and BR 21 50% pellets, P2: additional feeding treatment in the form of a mixture of 4% Moringa leaf flour, 46% bran, and 50% BR 21 pellets, P3: Additional feeding treatment in the form of 5% Moringa leaf flour 45% bran and BR 21 50% pellets. This research was conducted in the Iringmulyo sub-district, Metro Timur, Metro City, from 20 December 2019 until 1 February 2020. Based on the results of research the influence effect of the use of a mixture of moringa leaf flour and rice bran on the growth of quails (Coturnix-coturnix japonica T), it can be concluded that there is no increase body weight and length in quails, with the results of research on average weight P0 = 33,63 gram, P1 = 44,9 gram, P2 = 40,93 gram, P3 = 38,06 gram and the average length result data P0 = 10,06 cm, P1 = 11,4 cm, P2 = 10,5 cm, P3 = 10,46 cm. The results of this study can be used as a source of biology learning on the material for growth and development of class Xll in the form of a Student Worksheet (LKPD). The results of the validation of learning resources by experts' material and experts' design concluded that the Student Worksheet (LKPD) made by researchers was worthy to be used as a learning resource with an average score of 86,25 experts' material and 83,6 experts' design.

Abstract

The use of learning media helps an educator in the process of facilitating learning in class and helping students in the learning process. Media is an important element in improving learning process quality in class. The development research in this research was developed in the form of E-module teaching materials using potential and problem procedures, studying data, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The final result of the design expert gets an initial percentage value of 90% after revision gets 98%. The final results of the expert test obtained an initial percentage value of 94.77% after revision which is 97.31%. The final results of the small group trial obtained a percentage value of 86% with the criteria "good". Biology E-module products based on Problem-Based Learning are feasible to be used or tested on students.

Abstract

Mesuji is one of the districts that has the largest oil palm plantations in Lampung province. A large amount of Palm Oil Empty Fruit Bunch (TKKS) waste is one of the impacts caused by the extent of the plantation. Oil palm bunches are a fruit stalk and the place where the oil palm fruit attaches. Palm Oil Empty Fruit Bunch (TKKS) is the main waste which is 23% of the palm oil processing. The purpose of this study was to determine the phosphate content of OPEFB organic fertilizer combined with goat feces, determine the comparison that has a good value of phosphate content, and determine the feasibility of the poster making of organic fertilizer for empty palm oil palm bunches (OPEFB) which added goat feces. This type of research is an experiment, using a completely randomized design (CRD). This study used three treatments and one control namely the ratio of Palm Oil Empty Fruit Bunch (TKKS) and goat feces was 1: 0 as a control treatment, 7: 3 as the first treatment, 1: 1 as the second treatment, and 3: 7 as the third treatment. Based on the test results pospat levels obtained an average of each control sample until treatments 1, 2, and 3 are as follows: 0.327%, 0.511%, 0.923%, and 1.330%. The results of one-way ANAVA test analysis found that there was a significant effect of giving goat feces to the OPEFB fertilizer produced and based on ANAVA test results (LSD test) found that the best effect of goat feces was in the third treatment, namely on the comparison of OPEFB feces and goat feces by 3: 7. The results of poster study source validation on the design expert got a value of 86 and the material expert got a value of 95. This study concluded that goat feces affected phosphate levels in OPEFB organic fertilizer, the ratio that had the highest phosphate value was 300 grams of OPEFB and 700 grams of Goat Phases (treatment to goat three), and a poster about the effect of goat feces on phosphate levels in organic fertilizer of oil palm empty fruit bunches is suitable as a learning resource.

Abstract

This research aims to know P (phosphor) content of compost fertilizer sediment ponds vaname shrimp was fermented by LCN and utilization of this research is to make Worksheet Students material biotechnology. This research used 1 control (without treatment) and 3 treatments, KA (5 LCN bacteria), KB (10 LCN bacteria), and KC (15 LCN bacteria). The content of P can be seen from testing the content in the Chemical Laboratory University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The phosphor content of compost fertilizer sediment ponds vaname shrimp is relatively low, and this value has not reached, the threshold that has been determined by the Agricultural Minister. The results of the research can be used as a source of learning for Worksheet Students.
