Abstract

The market is a place where buyers and sellers meet to conduct buying and selling transactions of goods and services. The characteristic of a market is the existence of transaction or buying and selling activities. The market has at least three main functions, namely distribution function, price formation function, and promotion function. Natuna is an area where one of the sources of the regional economy relies on natural resources and tourism sector. Natuna supports an important role in both trade and service activities. Along with the development of trade and services activities in Natuna Regency, the development of facilities and infrastructure that support trade and services activities. The role of the market is very important for the Natuna community to make it easier for people to obtain the goods and services needed so that people in Natuna no longer go outside the island or out of town just to shop for clothes and basic daily necessities. The purpose of the design of Natuna People's Market is to produce the design of the people's market in Natuna Regency as a shopping center and trade center. The application of passive cooling in the design of Natuna People's Market is one of the objectives to solve design problems that serve to provide thermal comfort by maximizing natural delivery. The attraction of Natuna People's Market building is from the dynamic form of buildings following the concept of the roof shape of the traditional house in Riau Islands. Another application is in the secondary skin of the building in the form of mats using brown iron plate material to create a color that looks classic and neutral.

Abstract

Islam developed rapidly in Sambas Regency during the era of the Sambas Sultanate of Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin II (1688-1922) and was nicknamed "The Veranda of Mecca". The strategic position of Sambas Regency on the border with Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam and close to Southeast Asian countries has the opportunity to establish an international standard forum. The Islamic Center is a forum that accommodates various activities of fostering and developing muslim communities based on Islamic teachings such as worship, muamalah, science, da'wah, information centers, and Islamic symbols, as well as community empowerment centered in one area. The method used in this design is the five-step method by McGinty (1979) which includes initiation, preparation, proposal submission, evaluation, and action. This design consists of the main, supporting, and supporting functions. The main functions are worship, islamic information center, islamic religious education, social, commercial, and services. Support functions include sports and lodging and support functions include management and service functions. Abstract

Sambas Regency is an area that has a coastal area stretching from the Semelagi area to the Temajuk Coast region which borders Malaysia. Sinam Beach is one of the tourist attractions, precisely in Pemangkat District. The beach is often visited by tourists on weekends for recreation and relaxation. This Sinam Beach Tourism Area is very worrying because natural disasters often occur in the form of tidal floods, strong winds and coastal abrasion, the inability of the community and local government to utilize and manage existing potentials optimally to create tourist attractions. The purpose of this design is to produce a plan and design for the Sinam Beach Tourism Area in Pemangkat District which can meet the needs of tourists and utilize the potential of natural resources. The concept used is green open space by the beach. The method used in the design is to find ideas, collect data and analyze data. The design of the Sinam Beach Tourism Area creates a tourist zone, namely land tourism, water tourism and mangrove tourism.. Abstract

The development of basketball in Pontianak City is in line with the availability of basketball sports facilities owned. Existing facilities are still inadequate or do not meet standards. Based on this phenomenon, the goal to be achieved in designing the Pontianak Basketball Arena is to produce a type A basketball sports building design in Pontianak City. This design refers to the Instruction Manual for Technical Planning for Sports Buildings published by the Ministry of the Public Works (1994) and Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic Indonesia Number 0445 of 2014 concerning Standards for Sports Infrastructure in the Form of Buildings and using the design method proposed by Jones (1992), where the method is divided into several stages, namely the idea stage, problem identification stage, data collection stage, data analysis stage, synthesis stage, and design stage. This design gave a building divided into 2 floors. The square shape of the building was chosen because it is considered to be the most suitable shape according to the land site and also be the most efficient shape according to the room organization. The facade of the building displays a shape inspired by the patterns found in basketball and the culture that exist in the city of Pontianak. The colors in the building are contrasted to create a prominent feel to make it more attractive and sporty. The space frame structure system applied to the roof of the building was chosen based on several considerations.

Abstract

Motorcycle racing is generally known as a dangerous sport, but it is enjoyed as an exciting pastime. In increasing the potential of motorcycle racers in Indonesia in general and in West Kalimantan in particular, it is necessary to build a sports facility in the form of a circuit in accordance with national standards in Kubu Raya Regency. The purpose of designing the Road Race Circuit in Kubu Raya Regency is to provide a place for racers in West Kalimantan to develop their hobbies. The design method used is the Robert Whitaker design method, which consists of the introduction stage, definition stage, preparation stage, analysis stage, synthesis stage, evaluation stage, and re-evaluation stage. The main concept in this design is to create circuit facilities with national standards that are integrated with commercial, recreational, and educational areas to meet the needs of Road Races. This design produces a track with a length of 2.6 km and has 15 bends that circle the area and is integrated with the tribune, pit building, commercial area, food court, and amphitheater with a cluster organization. The rectangular tribune follows the shape of the track and will be divided into two, namely VIP and economic stands. The pit building is rectangular in shape with three floors with facilities according to the standards of the Indonesian Motor Association. The amphitheater is located in the plaza area which can be used by visitors to enjoy the show before heading to the stands.
