Abstract

The use of smartphone for helping students in studying is so familiar. It is used almost in every students’ studying activity. For example, it is often used for browsing material needed or for translating english word to indonesian or the opposite. In efforting to comprehend english material, students always try to translate it first. Google translate is a service often used by students to translate. This study describes of students’ perception towards the use of google translate to translate english material. Interview is used in collecting data. The subject is the seventh grade students by considering that based on prelimanary study, they use google translate and they get many assigments to translate English material. Data shows that students’ perception toward the use online dictionary in translating english material is positive. It is stated that google translate giving help a lot. Students can translate faster and complete their assignments. Although there is still weakness of translation result using google translate, google translate saves time in translating english material. The weakness of it overcome by rereading and fixing the translation with context. It is suggested to the students take other benefits of google translate.

Abstract

Implementation Framwork CodeIgniter at Plantation Office of Central Kalimantan Province aims to deliver profile information, commodity prices, business partners, announcements, official agenda, gallery activities as well as downloaded files. Method used in this study includes data collection methods (literature review, interviews) and methods of analysis, namely data analysis and systems analysis. The analysis system used is PIECES analysis. With this website visitor facilities in seeking information about the price of commodities, the announcement and the agenda of the services, download files plantations and can see photos and video activities Plantation Office of Central Kalimantan Province and features that allow visitors to be more efficient in finding the necessary information and features more than the previous blogspot media.

Abstract

Knowledge acquisition process is not easy, because of the different levels of expertise even though all true. Computer experts had tried other methods to resolve the problem of the acquisition, which is known as case-based reasoning. Representation of knowledge in CBR is a collection of previous case. This research focus is the application of CBR for diagnosing womb diseases. The level of similarity is calculated by using the modified weighted Minkowski. Methods of data collection are interviews, observation and study of literature. The test results show the system can be recognize the womb disease correctly is 94.44% (sensitivity), specitifity rate of 57.14%, PPV of 85.00% and 80.00% NPV. The system have an accuracy rate of 84.00% with an error rate of 16.00%.

Abstract

Expert System which is a branch of Artifical Intelligence, who learned about the estimation or decision-making ability of an expert. Methods and concepts are still needed in solving the problem of diagnosis, with engineering calculations involve computing systems., given the level of need for information and resolving cases. The application development is aimed at implementing the knowledge of an expert into a program that can help in diagnosing the symptoms of skin health problems in cats. Dempster Shafer (DS) is a method that is non monotonous in solving the problem of uncertainty due to the addition or subtraction of new facts.The system is made to diagnose the type of skin disease in cats after applying the method of DS. The system can also perform data management if there is a data change disease, symptoms, treatment solutions, as well as the rules of the disease. The diagnosis system with DS according to analysis from experts.

Abstract

Academic information system planning can provide a guide in the design of academic information systems aligned with the business processes of an organization. SMK Isen Mulang yet have an Academic Information System planning are aligned with business processes. It required an academic information system planning can provide clear guidelines in the use of information technology for academic affairs at SMK Isen Mulang. Analysis of the needs required in the planning of Academic Information System using Zachman Framework approach. Each cell of the matrix Zachman discussed in depth to analyze the needs of Academic Information Systems of SMK Isen Mulang Palangkaraya. For the modeling used E-R diagrams, UML diagrams, and for examples of interface design using GUI Design Studio. The result of this research study is a vocational blueprint by using Zachman Academic Information Framework. Zachman Framework Approach to describe clearly and in detail the parts of planning academic Academic Information Systems in a simple model. This plan resulted in a blueprint that can be used as a reference are structured in making academic information system program code and test development in SMK Isen Mulang Palangkaraya.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how to design and build a web-based application to make the process of thesis guidance. This app aims to help the process of guidance and help students who are taking the thesis and lecturers also may correct student thesis, so that the process runs smoothly guidance to complete. Further, the application also helps faculty in monitoring students in conducting guidance The methods used in this research for observational data collection is interview, and literature, for software development methods we using the waterfall model, software testing methods using Black Box Testing and methods for analysis system weaknesses using PIECES. This research has been successfully implemented an Application Monitoring Guidance thesis on the School of Information Management and Computer Palangkaraya Based Web using codeigniter 3.0 and has been successfully tested against the results of the implementation.The application can provide convenience for students who are doing a thesis on STMIK Palangka raya.

Abstract

The need for education-themed applications, especially Biology subject that have the term Latin elusive and remembered by the public, especially the students who are studying Natural Sciences (IPA) in addition to the price of a dictionary of biology are relatively expensive complicate the students to buy. By the need of a dictionary and the use of communication devices such as smartphones based on android makes writers interested in creating a dictionary of biology-based android. This application is expected to provide ease in finding biological science terms by categories easily and less cost. Methods that are used in this study include data collection methods (interviews, literature methods, methods of documentation, the experimental method) and the method of system development.In this study, has successfully implemented a dictionary application android based biological term. The programming language PHP and the database used structured based Query Language (SQL) MySQL with kamus.sql name with three (3) tables. The writers applied the waterfall method of software development.
