Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to identify factors that influence the students’ motivation to run business based on theory of planned behavior. This research is conducted by examining the influence of students’ attitude againts its behavior, subjective norms and behavioral control on their intention to run business. The research samples are students of private university majoring in management because they have subject on Entrepreneur in the curriculum and for the reason of convenience. Research data are collected by distributing questionnaire to the students. Regression analysis is applied to analize 167 questionnaires sent back by the respondents. The result shows that the students’ attitude againts the behavior does not influence the intention to run business. While students’ attitude againts subjective norms and behavioral control do influence the intention to run business.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to identify and analyze how much influence the effectiveness of the organization’s culture is viewed from the standpoint of suitability, strength and type of culture in Higher Education institutions. Respondents in this study were 150 structural officials from 40 universities in Indonesia, which is taken by using purposive sampling method. The analysis shows that the three cultural variables have different influence on the effectiveness. Variable types of culture (especially Adhocracy culture) is seen to have the highest impact on the effectiveness of variables (scores F: 52 577, sign 0.000), compared with the strength of the cultural variables (scores F: 37 197, sign 0.000), and the variables that influence the cultural appropriateness minimum (no effect) on the effectiveness (scores F: .620, .432 sign)

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, supervision, and work culture either partially or simultaneously on employee productivity. Total population is 114 employees at the production division of aluminum casting company “SP“ Yogyakarta. By using the method of Isaac and Micheal, with a 5 % error level, sample size is 86. The sampling method used disproportionate stratified random sampling, which is a technique used to determine the number of samples when stratified population less than the proportion required. Data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis and the result states that even there is no motivation, supervision, and work culture, the employee still obtain work productivity of 7,153. All regression coefficients are positive, which mean that three variables have positive effect on labor productivity . Furthermore, it is indicated that partially,motivation and supervision do nothave any influence on employee productivity, but work culture variable does. Based on F test, variables ofmotivation,  supervision, andwork culture,simultaneously have influenced thelaborproductivity. The research also shows that 53.2% influencesof labor productivitycan be explainedbythe variables of motivation, supervision, andwork culture, while the remaining0f 46.8% is contributedbyother variablesthatis notincluded inthisstudy.

Abstract

 AbstractThe research aims to identify the influence of motivation, training and the work environment on the performance of outsourced employees of PT BRI, Tbk Regional Office Jakarta 1. The sample of this research were employees of outsource PT BRI, Tbk Regional Office Jakarta 1. The research sample is consisted of 312 respondents which are determined by a census. Data of this research are obtained through questionnaire. The research methodology is descriptive and verificative methods using regression and correlation analysis of data. The result suggested variables of motivation, training and work environment either partially or simultaneously have influence positive significant toward the increasing employee performance. The finding shows that there is simultaneously 70.6% influence level of motivation, training and work environment on employee’s performance.

Abstract

AbstractOrganizational culture is a system values and beliefs that are shared by people who interact in an rganization that serves as an identity and as reference behavior to achieve organizatinal goals. One of the success factor of an organization goals is leadership, especially leadership style will determine the perfomance of an organization that is shown on the employees performance. This study tried to assess the relationship of organizational culture and leadership style influence on employee performance. The object of this study were employees in Badan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Perempuan, dan Keluaraga Berencana in Magelang district. The result in multiple regression analysis showed that organizational culture and the leadership style have significant positive effect on employee performance either partially (t test) and simultaneously (F test)
