Abstract

ABSTRACT           Economic benefits as a reference in measuring the physical level of independent smallholders as a result of palm oil farmer’s. independent farm that are measured through the organizational aspects of planters and farm management and sustainable business enhancements lead to pros and cons of the situation in the field. These problems lead to the need to conduct research on independent farm in order to have knowledge and responsibility for economic sustainability. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of planters' organizations and farm management and the sustainable improvement of business to economic benefits, in 150 respondents who were selected purposively. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that the organizational factors of planters and garden management had no effect. However, the attributes of sustainable business improvement are the most important factors in economic benefits followed by post-harvest increases. Keywords: Economic benefits, Farmer’s organizations, Management, Sustainable improvement, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of AB-Mix nutrition and Gandasil D fertilizer on the growth and yield of peppermint in hydroponics and obtain the best concentration of a combination of AB-Mix nutrition and Gandasil D fertilizer on the growth and yield of peppermint hydroponically. This research was conducted in Roban Village, Singkawang Tengah District, Singkawang City. It was starting from April 21, 2018 to June 8, 2018. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consisted of 6 treatments and 4 replications of each treatment consisting of 3 samples, so that there were 72 plants. The treatment in question is, a1: AB-Mix 75% + Gandasil D 2 g / l, a2: AB-Mix 75% + Gandasil D 4 g / l, a3: AB-Mix 75% + Gandasil D 6 g / l, a4: AB-Mix 50% + Gandasil D 4 g / l, a5: AB-Mix 50% + Gandasil D 6 g / l, a6: AB-Mix 50% + Gandasil D 8 g / l. Observation variables included the root volume (cm3), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf chlorophyll (spad unit), fresh weight of the upper part of the plant (g), dry weight of the upper part of the plant (g). The results showed that the combination of AB-Mix nutrition and Gandasil D fertilizer could increase the growth and yield of peppermint hydroponically on the variable root volume, number of leaves, fresh weight of the upper part of the plant, top dry weight of plants and combination treatment of nutrients AB-Mix 75% + Gandasil D 2 g / l is an efficient dose to produce fresh weight in the upper part of the peppermint plant hydroponically.  Keywords: Hydroponics, Gandasil D, AB-Mix Nutrition, Peppermint.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPemanfaatan tanah Ultisols untuk pengembangan sawit merupakan salah satu sasaran perluasan areal pertanian. Luas lahan sawit di Kalimantan Barat mencapai 1.312.517 hektar (64%) dengan total produksi CPO tahun 2014 mencapai 1.174.499 ton. Apabila dilihat berdasarkan luas lahan sawit tersebut belum menghasilkan produksi yang optimal, sehingga lahan Ultisols di Kalimantan Barat relatif sesuai untuk budidaya sawit. Dilihat dari segi kemiringan lereng, tanah Ultisols memiliki lereng yang beragam, mulai dari datar hingga sangat curam. Sehingga bukan hanya karakteristik fisika tanah yang mempengaruhi tanah Ultisols akan tetapi kemiringan lereng juga berpengaruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membandingkan karakteristik fisika tanah Ultisols pada 2 kemiringan lereng di lahan perkebunan sawit rakyat di Desa Sepuk Tanjung Kecamatan Sebawi Kabupaten Sambas Provinsi Kalimantan Barat.Lokasi penelitian memiliki 2 kemiringan lereng yaitu lereng agak miring (lokasi 1) 8% - 15% dan miring 15% - 30% (lokasi 2) dengan masing-masing lima titik pengamatan dengan dua kedalaman yaitu 0-30 cm dan 30-60 cm. Kemiringan lereng agak miring : T1 9%, T2 8,8%, T3 11,2%, T4 12%, dan T5 10,4%. Kemiringan lereng miring : T1 16,2%, T2 21,3%, T3 20,3%, T4 19,4%, dan T5 20,1%. Jenis sampel tanah yang diambil yaitu sampel tanah utuh, terganggu, dan komposit.Hasil pengamatan di lapangan, warna tanah pada lereng 1 : 10 YR 5/6 Coklat, 10 YR 5/8 Kuning, dan 5 YR 6/8 Kuning Kemerahan dan lereng 2 : 10 YR 5/8 (Kuning) dan 10 YR 6/8 (Agak Merah). Struktur tanah lereng 1 termasuk granular dan lereng 2 gumpal bersudut. Hasil analisis fraksi tekstur tanah lereng 1 kedalaman 0-30 cm, fraksi pasir 8,83%, debu 48,61%, liat 42,56%, kedalaman 30-60 cm pasir 15,68%, debu 45,64%, liat 38,68%. Lereng 2 kedalaman 0-30 cm pasir 9,66%, debu 48,78%, liat 41,56%, kedalaman 30-60 cm pasir 7,79%, debu 49,41%, liat 42,8%. Kedua lereng termasuk dalam tekstur liat berdebu.Hasil uji-t berpasangan untuk dua kedalaman menunjukkan bobot isi tanah berbeda nyata pada lereng agak miring. Untuk dua kemiringan lereng menunjukkan berat jenis partikel tanah berbeda nyata pada kedalaman 30-60 cm. Untuk dua kemiringan lereng menunjukkan porositas total berbeda nyata pada kedalaman 30-60 cm. Kemiringan lereng tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap konduktivitas hidrolik tanah. Untuk dua kedalaman menunjukkan kadar air tanah kapasitas lapangan berbeda nyata pada lereng agak miring.Kata Kunci : Ultisols, kemiringan lereng, karakteristik fisika tanah

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the coastal tourism potential seen from the perceptions and social characteristics of the community and visitors as well as knowing the ecological suitability of the coastal area with the carrying capacity of the Temajuk Beach area. The research was carried out from July-December 2018 at the Temajuk Beach area of Temajuk Village, Paloh District, Sambas Regency. The method used in this study is primary data collection of water quality analysis, method of determining regional suitability based on the multiplication of scores and weights obtained from each parameter, depth, beach type, beach width, water brightness, current velocity, water base material, biota observation dangerous, and availability of clean water. Based on the results of research at Temajuk Beach, it has natural resource potential that can be developed into a coastal ecotourism area. Beach tourism activities that can be done in this area include swimming, sunbathing, water sports and beach recreation. The Regional Suitability Index (IKW) in Temajuk Beach area Temajuk village, Paloh sub-district is categorized very according to the percentage of each station. At station one which is at Tanjung Bendera Beach with a percentage of 88.57% and station two which is on Mauludin Beach with a percentage of 87.85%. The carrying capacity of the area in Temajuk Beach is 160 people / day for swimming, sunbathing, beach recreation and water sports. Keywords: Ecotourism, Potential, Beaches, Social Perceptions

Abstract

ABSTRACTTofu is a traditional food consumed by many Indonesia as a high source of protein. It is delicious and cheap. It is a soft food product which is made from a soybean processing. It utilizes the nature of protein which coagulates if acidified. The star fruit which contains high citric acid (92,6-133,8) can be used as a tofu coagulant. The purpose of this research was to gain the optimal amount of the extract of wuluh star fruit to be used as a tofu coagulant. Thus, it could result in the best tofu in terms of its physiochemical and sensory characteristics. The best treatment was gained from 7% extrac of wuluh star fruit. The physiochemical characteristics of tofu had 48,21% of water content, 2,39mg/100 mg of vitamin C, 0,06kg/force level of solidity, and 13,88g/100g protein. Mean while, the result of test of preference were taste by 3,76 (dislike), texture by 3,68 (dislike), fragrance 4,08 (like), and color 4,12 (like).Keyword:  wuluh star fruit, coagulant, tafu

Abstract

ABSTRACT Basically, paprika plants can be cultivated on various types of soil. One of the factors that influence the growth and development of paprika is the soil factor as a medium for growing plants. One effort that can be done to overcome the problem in alluvial soil is by adding organic matter to the soil in the form of kirinyu bocation. This study aimed to investigate the effect of bokashi kirinyu on growth and yield of paprika on alluvial soil. This research was conducted at a location on Jalan Sungai Raya Dalam. The methodology used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments, 5 replications and each treatment consisted of 4 plant samples, so that there were 100 plants. The treatment in question is : k1 = 20 ton/ha bokashi kirinyu equivalent to 400 g/polybag, k2 = 25 ton/ha bokashi kirinyu equivalent to 500 g/polybag, k3 = 30 ton/ha bokashi kirinyu equivalent to 600 g/polybag, k4 = 35 ton/ha bokashi kirinyu equivalent to 700 g/polybag, and k5 = 40 ton/ha bokashi kirinyu equivalent to 800 g/polybag. Observation variables observed were to the content of chlorophyll leaves, root volume, dry  weight of plants, plant height, fruit weight, and the number of fruit. The results of diversity analysis showed that significant bocation at various doses had significant effect on root volume, plant dry weight, plant height 2 mst, 4 mst and 6 mst, number of fruit crops, plant fruit weight and no significant effect on leaf chlorophyll content. The results of this study showed that giving bokashi kirinyu at a dose of 30 ton/ha equivalent to 600 g/polybag gave the best growth and yield to paprika plants on alluvial soil.         Keywords: bokashi kirinyu, paprika, alluvial soil.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pendapatan usahatani tumpangsari jagung manis dengan ubi jalar di Desa Rasau Jaya Satu Kecamatan Rasau Jaya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Rasau Jaya Satu sejak awal bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Maret 2018. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survei dimana pengumpulan data berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi. Tehnik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode non probability sampling, populasi yang diambil sebanyak 40 orang petani maka keseluruhan responden penelitian dijadikan populasi. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Rasau Jaya Satu dipilih secara sengaja (purposive) karena merupakan salah satu dimana peneliti menentukan pengambilan sampel dengan cara menetapkan ciri-ciri khusus yang sesuai dengan tujuan peneliti sehingga diharapkan dapat menjawab permasalahan penelitian. Berdasarkan tabel diatas menunjukan bahwa total penerimaan tumpangsari jagung manis dengan ubi jalar sebesar Rp 38.866.271,19,-. Pendapatan jagung manis sebesar Rp 7.643.753,97,- dan ubi jalar sebesar Rp 14.388.524,1,-. Jadi, total pendapatan jagung manis dengan ubi jalar sebesar Rp 22.0332.278,07,-Selisih pendapatan antara jagung manis dengan ubi jalar sebesar Rp 6.744.770,13,-. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya hasil dari tanaman ubi jalar lebih besar dari hasil jagung manis. Kata Kunci : Pendapatan Petani, Usahatani tumpangsari jagung manis dengan ubi jalar.

Abstract

The porpose of this study was to determine the best dose combination of duck  manure and potassium manure against the growth and yield of radish in red yellow podzolic soil. This experiment, done at  Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The duration of  the study is 52 days, starting on 30 April - 21 June 2018. The research design used in this study was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with  9 levels of  combinations treatment of duck manure and potassium manure namely k1 = 5 tons / ha duck manure + 40 kg / ha KCl, k2 = 5 tons / ha duck manure + 50 kg / ha KCl, k3 = 5 tons / ha duck manure + 60 kg / ha KCl, k4 = 10 tons / ha duck manure + 40 kg / ha KCl, k5 = 10 tons / ha duck manure + 50 kg / ha KCl, k6 = 10 tons / ha duck manure + 60 kg / ha KCl, k7 = 15 tons / ha duck manure + 40 kg / ha KCl, k8 = 15 tons / ha duck manure + 50 kg / ha KCl, k9 = 15 tons / ha duck manure + 60 kg / ha KCl. Each treatment was repeated three times, and the experimental unit consisted of 3 plant samples. Variable observed dry weight of the upper part of the plant, tuber diameter, tuber length, plant fresh weight and fresh weight of tuber / plant. The results showed that the combination of  duck manure and potassium manure on  red yellow podzolic soil for radish growing media gave a response that was not significantly different in all observation variables namely plant dry weight, the diameter of tube, tuber length, plant fresh weight and fresh weight of tuber. The effective dose to support the growth and yield of radish plant is the combination of duck manure dan KCl with a dose 5 ton/ha duck manure and 40 kg/ha KCl   Keywords: duck manure and potassium manure, red yellow podzolic, radish

Abstract

Lokal rice is potential germplasm used as genetic source for assembly of better varieties in plant breeding programs. This research aims to obtain character information and genetic relationship vegetative phase of some local rice from Paloh District, Sambas Regency. This research was held in Danau Sentarum Street, Pontianak. This research used completely rendomized design (CRD) consisted of 7 treatments, that are V1 = Ringkak Barkat local rice, V2 = Ringkak Talok local rice, V3 = Mensere local rice, V4 = Ringkak Herman local rice, V5 = Siam Wangi local rice, V6 = Serawak local rice, V7 = Ringkak Ondot local rice. Each treatment was repeated 3 time and consisted of 10 samples. This research has been obtain 14 vegetative phase characters of local rice from Paloh District, Sambas Regency, that are seeding height, ligule shape, leaf surface, leaf attitude, flag leaf attitude, collar color, auricle color, leaf blade color, leaf sheath color, ligule color, leaf length, leaf width, childbearing, and plant height. The closest genetic relationship was Siam Wangi and Ringkak Barkat local rice with 100% similarity level, while the farthest genetic relationship was Ringkak Talok and Mensere lokal rice with 69,1% similarity level. keywords: characterization, genetic relationship, local rice

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan bagian pengolahan kelapa sawit di PT. Cipta Usaha Sejati Kabupaten Kayong Utara, dalam penelitian ini  lingkungan kerja dan budaya kerja merupakan variabel bebas dan yang menjadi variabel terikat adalah kinerja karyawan. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampelnya seluruh anggota populasi yang dijadikan sampel, hal ini dilakukan karena jumlah populasi relatif kecil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan budaya kerja secara bersama- sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, secara parsial variabel independen lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan sedangkan variabel independen budaya kerja berpengaruh negatif. Kata Kunci : Lingkungan Kerja, Budaya Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan.
