Abstract

Feed is one of the most important factors for the success of a livestock business.Rabbit’s growth can be optimal when the amount as well as the quality of the feed, and the nutrient is fulfilled decently. This study aims to determine the nutritional quality of rabbit feed that is in the form of pelet combined with musa paradisiacal formatypica and carica papaya. This study had been conducted for 3 months (March - June 2018) at the laboratory of Teknologi Hasil Pertaniandan Kesuburan Tanah, agriculture department, Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. This study used randomized block design which are 5treatments and 5 repetitions; P1 (24% of Banana peel+ 0 % Papay leaves), P2 (18% Banana peel + 6 Papay leaves), P3 (12% Banana peel + 12 Papay leaves), P4 (6% Banana peel + 18% Papay leaves) and P5 (0% Banana peel + 24% Papay leaves). The analysis showsthat the treatment has significant effect (P<0,05) on moisture, ash, crude fat, crude protein, crude fibre and carbohydrates. The results of this study concluded that the value of the nutritional content in accordance with the needs of rabbits was obtained in treatment 4, namely 6% kepok banana peel and 18% papaya leaves. Based on the nutritional content produced, the feed can be given to adult rabbits.Keywords: Banana Peel, Papay Leaves, Proximate Analysis, Pellets

Abstract

This study aims to get the best cow urine concentration for the growth of red betel cuttings. Research has been carried out in Kucipu hamlet, RT 11/06, Capkala village, subdistrictCapkala, Bengkayang district. This research was conducted from March 1 to May 31 2018. The experimental method used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) repeated 3 times and each experiment consisted of 5 plant samples. The variables observed in the study were shoot length, number of leaves, number of roots, number of buds, fresh weight of buds, and root volume. The results showed that the with a of cow urine with a concentration of 200 ml/l was the best concentration for the number of leaves, while for root volume, the number of roots, the number of shoots, dan the length of the shoot, given and not given cow urine showed the same growth. Abstract

ABSTRACTMore factors influence consumer in taking purchasing decision, that is factor product, price,distribution and promotion. The purpuse of this research is to analyze product factor (assurance,healty, high quality and flavor) price factor(price range, discount, and price according to quality), distribution factor(easy to find, proximity of location and the place) and promotion factor(frequency, information coveyor, and advertisement)of purchasing decision milk UHT on 150respondent by purposive sampling with descriptive method used analysis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The result show all off marketing mix (product, price, distribution and promotion) gave positive and significant influence to purchase decision of milk UH. For producers to improve products, such as using materials that are strong and durable, while for prices such as providing cheaper prices in order to compete with other dairy products, and for promotion that provides advertising products that attract and cut prices. Abstract

Soil fertility is the capablelity of a soil to provide nutrients at certain doses in equilibrium continuously to support the growth of a type of plant in the environment with other growth factors in favorable conditions.The objectives in this study were to determine the nutrient status of Nitrogen (N), phospor (P), Potassium (K), soil reaction (pH), C-organic, cation exchange capacity (CEC), and base saturation (BS) on rice fields in Keranji Paidang Village. For providing recommendation on plant fertilization on site specifics on rice fields in Keranji Paidang Village.This research was carried out on rice fields in Keranji Paidang Village Sengah Temila Sub-district Landak District by methode of land survey and soil analist. The area of rice fields studied is ± 2.56 ha. The materials used are soil samples and chemicals. The tools used in the field are: meter, ground drill, knife, plastic bag, documentation tool, label paper, stationery, supporting maps and GPS.          The results of the study, based on the results of analysis of soil reactions (pH) at the 6-year (P1), 25-year (P2), and 12-year (P3) study sites were classified as acidic between 4.70, 4.56, and 4.52, whereas at the location of 20 years (P4) it is classified as very acidic which is 4.47. Very high C-organic content is found in locations P1 and P2, which are 10.28% and 13.97%. The location of P3 is relatively high at 4.28% and at location P4 is classified as moderate, which is 2.60%. Nutrient N at the research location P1 and P2 was classified as very high at 0.96 and 1.26%. The location of P3 is classified as high, namely 0.53% and P4 is classified as moderate, which is 0.32%. Each research location has a total P land content and P is very high available land and low K-total soil content and very low available K land. Cation exchange capacity at locations P1 and P2 is high and very high at 34.71 and 42.51. P3 and P4 locations are low, namely 13.59 and 9.85. Very low KB values were found in P2 and P1 locations, namely 8.80% and 10.80%, and low KB values were 22.74% and 22.96% in locations P4 and P3.          Based on the results of the analysis and comparison of soil fertility levels, it can be concluded that the study sites have the same fertility level criteria but there are different nutrients.Key words: soil fertility, rice fields, land use age.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best dosage for growth and yield of peanut plants on ultisol soil. This research was carried out on the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University of Pontianak which took place September 16, 2018 to December 20, 2018. The method used was a Complete Randomized Design Test (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments, 4 replications, and 4 samples. Giving various types of swallow droppings including a1 = 269 g / polybag, a2 = 514 g / polybag, a3 = 759 g / polybag, a4 = 1,004 g / polybag, a5 = 1,249 g / polybag and a6 = 1,494 g / polybag. Observations were made on plant height, number of pods of plants, dry weight of plants, dry weight of seeds. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the administration of swallow feces with a dose of 1,249 g / polybag or the equivalent of 16% organic matter gives the best results for the growth and yield of peanut plants on ultisol soil. Keywords: peanuts, swallow droppings, ultisol soil,

Abstract

Indonesia has potential and prospects for developing the onion crop commodities show that a positive side of development, such as shallots and scallion commodity. Onion plants are one of the commodities that are intensively developed in West Kalimantan, one of the land used for cultivating this plant is alluvial soil. This research aims to determined the interaction between chicken manure and K fertilizer on the growth and yield of Allium chinense on alluvial soil. This research use a factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was chicken manure (p) which consisted of three levels  treatment that is, p1 = 10% weight of the soil equivalent to 800 g perpolybag, p2 = 20% weight of the soil equivalent to 1600 g perpolybag, and p3 = 30% weight of the soil equivalent to 2400 g perpolybag. Second factor is K fertilizer (k) which consists of three treatment levels, that is k1 = 175 kg / ha equivalent to 0.7 g perpolybag, k2 = 200 kg / ha equivalent to 0.8 g perpolybag and k3 = 225 kg / ha equivalent 0.9 g perpoly bag. The addictional observation variables in this research were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tillers (fruit), number of tubers (fruit), plant wet weight (g) and plant dry weight (g). The results showed that the main factors of manure significantly affected the observation variables of plant height, number of leaves and plant wet weight. The factor of both K fertilizer and interaction of chicken manure and K fertilizer had no significant effect on all observation variables. Keywords: Allium chinense, Alluvial Soil ,Chicken manure, K Fertilizer.

Abstract

Abstak Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Karimunting, Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan Kabupaten Bengkayang dengan luas 60 ha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui tingkat kesesuaian lahan sampai pada tingkat sub kelas dan faktor-faktor pembatas untuk pengembangan tanaman kelapa sawit dan padi serta menyusun rekomendasi pengelolaan berdasarkan fakor-faktor pembatasnya.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survey tanah, pengumpulan data primer dan data sekunder. Data data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif dan spasial. Penelitianan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap meliputi: Tahap Persiapan, Survei Lapangan, Analisis tanah di Laboratorium, Penentuan Tata Nama Tanah, Sifat Kimia Tanah, Status Kesuburan Tanah, Analisis Kesesuaian Lahan, dan Penyajian Hasil. Parameter pengamatan pH Tanah, C-Organik, Salinitas, N-Total, P-Tersedia, KTK Tanah, KB, K-dd, Ca-dd, Mg-dd, Al-dd, P-total dan K-total.Hasil pengamatan di lapangan dan hasil analisis di laboratorium serta hasil evaluasi kesesuaian lahan sampai tingkat sub-kelas menampilkan faktor-faktor pembatas pada SPT 1 dan SPT 2 yang mengindikasikan perlunya pengelolaan lahan dalam upaya pemanfaatan lahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 2 satuan peta tanah (SPT) di lokasi penelitian. SPT 1 (Typic Sulfudepts) memiliki topografi datar (0-3%), berdrainase baik, kedalaman sulfidik dalam 8 cm- 28 cm, mempunyai kelas kesesuaian lahan aktual N2-x pada tanaman kelapa sawit dan padi dengan kelas kesesuaian lahan potensial S3, dengan luas lahan 36,69 ha. SPT 2(Oxiaquix dystrudepts) memiliki topografi datar (0-3%), berdrainase baik, Pada lapisan didalam 90 cm dari permukaan tanah mineral mengalami jenuh air, mempunyai kelas kesesuaian lahan Aktual  N2-f  pada tanaman kelapa sawit dan padi dengan  kelas kesesuaian lahan potensial S3, dengan luas luas 23, 31ha.Rekomendasi pengapuran dan pemupukan untuk tanaman kelapa sawit Lokasi I:130 kg dolomit 254,34 kg Urea/ha, 361,21 kg SP-36/ha , 183,03 kgKCL/ha. Lokasi II : 1.460 kg dolomit 250,06 kg Urea/ha, 41,29 kg SP-36/ha, 596,3 KCL/ha Kata kunci: Evaluasi Lahan, Kelapa Sawit, Padi, Tanah Inceptisols.

Abstract

This study aims to see the interaction between cow manure and dolomite lime on the growth and yield of sweet corn on tan on aluvial soil. Research conducted at the District Sibawek Mempawah Hulu Landak. This study uses a randomized block design (RAK) factorial design with two factors and three replications. The first factor is giving cow manure 3 levels: p1 (giving cow manure) 10,000kg/ha equivalent to 4 kg/bedengan, p2 (giving cow manure) 20,000kg/ha equivalent to 8 kg/bedengan, p3 (giving cow manure) 30,000kg/ha equivalent to 12 kg/bedengan and second factor giving dolomite lime with 3 levels: k1 (dolomite lime) 0.90 kg dolomite/ha equivalent to 0.36g/bedengan, k2 (dolomite lime) 1.26kg/ha equivalent to 0.50g/bedengan and k3(dolomite lime) 1.51kg of dolomite/ha equivalent to 0.60g/bedengan.Variables observed included plant height, flowering age, number of leaves, ear length of plant, ear diameter and ear weight of plant. The 5% BNJ test results that there are interactions on the administration of cow manure and dolomite lime on the cob variable, which is shown in the treatment of p2k2 ( 8kg cow manure / beds and 0,50 g dolomite lime / beds).

PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK UREA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KEDELAI HITAM PADA TANAH ALUVIAL THE EFFECT OF GIVING UREA FERTILIZER ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF BLACK SOYBEAN ON ALUVIAL SOIL   Aliamin(1), Henny Sulistyowati (2), Evi Gusmayanti(2) (1) Faculty of Agriculture and(2) Lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University Pontianak  ABSTRACT This study aimed to obtain the best dossage of urea fertilizer on the growth and yield of black soybean cultivated on alluvial soil. This research was conducted at experimental farm in Faculty of Agriculture. Tanjungpura University Pontianak from May 2018 to August 2018. There were five levels of treastment, i.e. u0 = 0 kg urea/ha, u1 = 25 kg / ha or equivalent to 0.2 g / polybag, u2 = 50 kg / ha or equivalent to 0.4 g / polybag, u3 = 75 kg / ha or equivalent to 0.6 g / polybag and u4 = 100 kg / ha or equivalent to 0.8 g / polybag. Each treatment consistedof five replicates and four samples, hence there were 100 polybags in total. The polybags were arangged according completely randomized design (CRD). The study showed that dosage variation of urea fertilizer results the similar value of observed variables, i.e. roots volume, dry biomass, plant height and weight dry seeds of plant. However, the dosage variation of urea fertilizer has an impact to the weight of a 100 dry seeds. It seemed that the dosage of 50 kg urea/ha or equivalent to 0.4 g / polybag is the best dosage for planting black soybean in alluvial soil.Keywords: Alluvial soil, black soybean, urea fertilizer.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDAS merupakan suatu hamparan wilayah atau kawasan yang dibatasi oleh pembatas topografi (punggung bukit) yang menerima, mengumpulkan air hujan, sedimentasi dan unsur hara serta mengalirkannya melalui anak – anak sungai dan keluar pada sungai utama ke laut atau danau. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari karakteristik DAS Peniti, hubungan antara kedalaman sungai dengan debit serta kualitas air sungai untuk irigasi berdasarkan SAR dan RSC. Luas DAS Peniti adalah 33.111 ha.Pengamatan lapangan dan pengambilan sampel air selama 10 hari di bagian hilir DAS Peniti dan sampel yang diambil di analisis di Laboratorium Kualitas dan Kesehatan Lahan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan DAS Peniti memiliki pola dentritik dan berbentuk memanjang seperti bulu burung. Kerapatan drainase pada DAS Peniti adalah 1,27 km/km2 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Profil melintang melintang sungai berbentuk parabola yang memiliki 4 orde sungai dan indek tingat percabangan sungai (WRb) adalah 2,72. Dari hasil pengamatan di lapangan, luas penampang rata – rata DAS peniti sebesar 306,94 m2 dengan debit sebesar 94,78 m3/detik. Konsentrasi sedimen rata-rata sebesar 84 mg/l dengan rata – rata debit sedimen sebesar 662,84 ton/hari. Untuk kualitas air sungai terdiri dari temperatur dengan rata – rata sebesar 26,7 0C, kecerahan dengan rata – rata sebesar 20,05 cm, pH dengan rata – rata sebesar 4,87, DHL dengan rata – rata sebesar 0,2244 dS/m termasuk kategori rendah, SAR dengan rata – rata sebesar 4,8545 termasuk kategori rendah dan RSC dengan rata – rata sebesar0,027099 termasuk kategori rendah.Kata Kunci : Karakteristik, DAS, Peniti
