Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to determine the effect of cutting leaves on the success of Lansium shots grafting. This research was conducted in Sungai Belidak Village Sungai Kakap Subdistrict, Kubu Raya District on June 12th 2018 – September 12th 2018. The method used in this study was a field experiment method with a completely randomized design (CRD), which consisted of 5 treatments, namely: p0 (without cut), p1 (leaves are completely cut shortly before splicing), p2 (cut ½ from the leaf just before splicing), p3 (leaves are completely cut 5 days before splicing with entres still in the parent tree), p4 (cut ½ from part leaves 5 days before connecting with entres still in the parent tree). Each treatment had 5 replications and each treatment consisted of 5 sample plants so that a total of 125 plants. The variables observed consisted of: percentage of graft success (%), number of leaves formed (leaves), increase of scion length (cm), time of shoots emergence (days), number of shoots emerged (shoots), time of leaf fall (days) and number fallen leaves (leaves). The results showed that the cutting of leaves of the entres had no significant effect on all observation variables.Keyword: Lansium, Leaf Cut, Shoots Grafting

Abstract

The provision of complementary liquid fertilizer with concentration right thing to do, because it can influence whether or not good growth seeds orchids. The frequency of the fertilizer needed to gain proper seeds optimal. This study aims to find the best combination of concentration and frequency of complementary liquid fertilizer Grow Quick S against acclimatization of black orchids. This research was conducted in the shade house of Green Villa, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. This study used a field experimental method with Split Plot Design, in which 2 frequency levels were put as main plots (main plot) which were f1 = once every 2 days, f2 = 3 days and 4 levels of concentration as subplots (sub plot) which were k1 = 1 ml/l, k2 = 2 ml/l, k3 = 3 ml/l, k4 = 4 ml/l. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications and each treatment consisted of 5 plant samples constitute to 120 plant samples. The variables observed in this study were increase in leaf length (cm), increase in number of leaves (strands), root length (cm), number of roots (strands) and number of shoots (shoots). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the provision of various types of concentrations and frequencies of complementary liquid fertilizer gives the same response on all variables, for the effectiveness of the use of complementary liquid fertilizer is a concentration of 1 ml/l and with the frequency every 3 days application. Keywords: Acclimatization, Black Orchid, Frequency, Concentration,      Complementary Liquid Fertilizer

Abstract

This study aims to obtain the composition of alluvial soil and oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) compost that provides the best growth of pepper cuttings. This research was conducted  in Parit Demang village, South Pontianak. This study  start from February 25th, 2018 to May 25th, 2018. This study used an experimental method with a Complete Randomized Design pattern (CRD) it’s a dose of OPEFB compost with 4 levels treatment, each treatment consists of 6 replication and consisting of 10 sample plants. The first treatment alluvial soil composition : OPEFB compost (1:0), second treatment alluvial soil composition : OPEFB (1:1), third treatment alluvial soil composition : OPFB compost (1:2) and fourth treatment alluvial soil composition : OPEFB compost (1:3). Variables observed is: percentage of live seed (%), shoots length (cm), number of shoots per plants (unit), number of  leaves (strand), roots volume (cm3), dry weight of shoots (gram) and dry weight of roots (gram). Based on the results of research on the composition of alluvial soil media: 1:2 OPEFB compost and alluvial soil media: 1:3 OPEFB compost gives the same good growth on pepper cuttings. The composition of alluvial soil media: 1:2 OPEFB compost is more effective because it does not require a lot of OPEFB compost so that it can be used in the pepper cutting nursery. Key Words : Alluvial Soil, OPEFB Compost, Pepper Cuttings One Segment

Abstract

Onions is one of the vegetable commodities that has a high economic value and can be developed in low plains to the highland. The need for Onions in Indonesia is big enough, but these needs have not been met by producers. This study is meant to see the influence of the bokashi waste of agriculture and the best dose of  growh and the yield of onions on the ground PMK. This research began on May 8 to July 4, 2018 on the land of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tanjungpura Pontianak. The method used is a completely randomized complete design (CRD) with 5 doses of treatment for agricultural waste (0 tons / ha, 10 tons / ha, 20 tons / ha, 30 tons / ha and 40 tons / ha) with 5 replications. Each test consists of 4 plant samples. Observation variables consisted of plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, fresh weight of bulb, dry weight of bulb and number of bulb. Based on the results of the study, The use of bokashi`s of agricultural waste shows an increase in growth and results that are getting better. The treatment of bokashi doses of agricultural wastes of 40 tons / ha showed an increase in growth and improved yield on variable plant height 47.24 cm, number of leaves 23.95 strands, number of tillers 7.13 tillers. Fresh weight of tuber was 68.52 g, dry weight of tuber was 64.42 g and number of tubers was 8.65 tubers. The results of this study indicate an increase in growth and results are getting better than other treatments. Keywords : Spanish onion, compost agricultural waste, PMK.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the interaction of fertilizer N and spacing, obtain the dosage of N fertilizer, and the best spacing of the growth and yield of soybean in aluvial soil. The research was carried out in the garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, starting on May until July  2018. The experiencest was  in factorial based on completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors namely fertilizer N and spacing. The N fertilizer dosage factor consisted of 3 levels of treatment namely 50 kg / ha, 100 kg / ha, and 150 kg / ha, and the spacing factor consisted of 3 treatment levels, namely 20 cm x 20 cm, 25 cm x 25 cm, and 30 cm x 30 cm, each treatment was repeated 3 times. The results showed no interaction between fertilizer N and spacing. N fertilizers with various doses give the same results for variable plant height, branch number, plant dry weight, root volume, seed weight per plant, and seed weight per plot. The spacing can increase the number of branches, root volume, seed weight per plant, and efficient spacing of 25 cm x 25 cm. Key Words : aluvial soil, N fertilizer, spacing, soybean

Abstract

Mempawah Mangrove Park has a great potential in ecotourism. It has some qualities such as the strategic location, has a good and neat condition, and  adequate facilities. The purpose of this research is to know the consumer behavior toward Mempawah Mangrove Park ecotourism in the Mempawah districts. It takes place in Mempawah Mangrove Park, Pasir village, Mempawah Hilir sub-district, Mempawah Regency. Responden of this study were ecotourism visitors of mangrove Park with the number of respondents is 100. This research used Fishbein analysis. The result showed that the behavior of consumer was good as the score of 16,6086 which means the visitors have positive contribution on Mempawah Mangrove Park. Cosumer behavior can be improved on toilet cleanliness by increasing the control of ecotourism officers. Key Words : Consumer behavior, Ecotourism, Fishbein, Mangrove

Abstract

Alluvial soil has very low organic matter and N-total, so the use of chicken manure with rice husk is expected to improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil and increase the yield of shallots. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best combination of chicken manure with rice husk for growth and onion yield on alluvial soil. This research was carried out in Parit Bugis Village, Segedong District, Mempawah District with a duration of 3 months, from May 16 to August 14, 2018. The design used in this study was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatment levels. Each treatment was 4 replications and 3 sample plants. The total number of plants is 72 plants. The variables observed in this research were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tubers (fruit), wet weight of tubers (g), and dry weight of tubers (g). In addition, observations of environmental conditions were also carried out which included temperature (°C), humidity (%) and rainfall (mm). The results showed that various combinations of chicken manure with rice husk had a significant effect on the observed variables of plant height at 8 weeks and number of tillers, but were not significantly different from plant height 2, 4, 6 weeks, number of leaves in the 2nd week , 4, 6, 8, fresh weight of tubers per hill and dry weight of tubers per clump.Keywords: alluvial soil, chicken manure fertilizer, rice husk, shallot.

Abstract

Produktivitas kambing secara umum dipengaruhi lingkungan dan manajemen pemeliharaan. Tingkat keberhasil produktivitas kambing dapat dilihat dengan pencatatan rutin data seekor induk kambing yaitu litter size, kidding interval, bobot lahir, bobot sapih dan mortalitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui Produktivitas kambing Kacang yang dipelihara oleh peternak di Desa Rasau Jaya III Kecamatan Rasau Jaya Kabupaten Kuburaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei untuk pengambilan data primer yaitu dengan pengamatan secara langsung pada peternak dan ternak, dengan variabel penelitian yang dihitung ialah jumlah anak sekelahiran (litter size), bobot lahir, bobot sapih dan mortalitas prasapih. Jumlah induk yang diamati dalam penelitian sebanyak 20 ekor dan anak kambing sebanyak 40 ekor. Variabel yang diamati selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji rata-rata. Dari hasil pengamatan didapatkan rataan litter size anak 2,0±0,73, kidding interval induk yaitu 8,15 bulan dan rataan bobot lahir anak sebesar 1,51±0,37, sedangkan rataan bobot sapih anak sebesar 7,87±2,38 dan mortalitas anak dilokasi penelitian sebesar 10%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa produktivitas kambing Kacang di Desa Rasau Jaya masih termasuk baik untuk hasil litter size dan mortalitas, namun rendah pada bobot lahir dan bobot sapih, induk kambing kacang di Desa Rasau Jaya III dapat melahirkan 3 kali dalam kurum waktu 2 tahun.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research aims to know the best of between interaction Arbuscular MycorrhizalFungi (AMF) inoculations and the kind of manure on the growth and yield of cornon peat soil. Research conducted at the Jl. Reformasi Gg. Racana Untan, KelurahanBansir Laut, Kecamatan Pontianak Tenggara, of date of April 4, 2018 until June 24,2018. The design used was a Randomized Competely Block Design (RCBD) withtwo factors that AMF inoculation (M) and the kind of manure (P). There are 6combination of treatment, 3 replications and each replication there were 3 plantsamples. The treatments were as follows without AMF inoculation + chickenmanure (m0p1), without AMF inoculation + goat manure (m0p2), without AMFinoculation + cow manure (m0p3), inoculation AMF + chicken manure (m1p1),inoculation AMF + goat manure (m1p2), AMF inoculation + cow manure (m1p3).The variables observed in this study were plant height (cm), leaf number (sheet),root infections by mycorrhizal (%), root volume (cm3), leaf chlorophyll (spad unit),leaf area (cm2), dry weight (g), cob weight without skin (g), cob length (cm), cobdiameter (cm), and the weight a dry grain (g). The results of the research showedthere is interaction between AMF inoculations and the kind of manure on thegrowth and yield of corn on peat soil. The interaction between AMF inoculationand chicken manure showed the best growth and yield of corn on peat soil.Keywords: arbuscular mycorrhizal, animal manure, corn, peat soil.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTanah gambut pada umumnya memilki tingkat kesuburan rendah yang ditandai dengan pH rendah, ketersediaan hara makro dan mikro rendah, kapasitas tukar kation tinggi dan kejenuhan basa rendah. Keadaan tersebut merupakan kendala utama dalam budidaya tanaman sawi. Upaya untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut adalah dengan cara memberikan pupuk organik cair dari limbah sayuran dan kulit pisang kepok. Pemberian pupuk organik cair selain sebagai sumber hara bagi tanaman, juga dapat memperbaiki sifat fisika, kimia dan biologi tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair dari limbah sayuran dan kulit pisang kepok terhadap serapan hara NPK dan hasil tanaman sawi pakcoy di tanah gambut. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal dengan dosis berupa perlakuan P0 (tanpa POC), P1 (POC 10ml/L), P2 (POC 30ml/L), P3 (POC 50ml/L) dan P4 (10 gram NPK). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Pemberian POC dilakukan sebanyak 5 kali selama masa pertumbuhan dengan interval 1 minggu sekali dengan volume pemberian 200 ml/setiap pemberian. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji One Way-Anova, jika signifikan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test). Parameter yang diamati adalah berat basah, berat kering, serapan N, serapan P dan serapan K. Berdasarkan hasil sidik ragam pemberian pupuk organik cair limbah sayuran dan kulit pisang kepok tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat basah, berat kering, serapan N dan serapan P, namun berpengaruh nyata terhadap serapan K. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pada perlakuan P2 (30ml/L) menghasilkan rerata berat basah, berat kering, serapan N, serapan P dan serapan K tertinggi yakni berturut – turut 90,49 gram/tanaman, 4,53 gram/tanaman, 0,14 gram/tanaman, 0,07 gram/tanaman dan 0,12 gram/tanaman dibandingkan dengan yang lain, sedangkan pada perlakuan P0 (tanpa POC) menunjukkan rerata paling rendah disetiap parameter.Kata Kunci : pupuk organik cair, limbah sayuran, kulit pisang kepok, sawi pakcoy
