Abstract

Participation is community involvement in the process of planning, implementation, utilization and evaluation. This study aims to determine the relationship of perceptions with community participation on mangrove ecotourism. The study was conducted on communities around the Polari Ecotourism of Tanjung Pagar in Mendalok Village, Sungai Kunyit Subdistrict, Mempawah Regency with 100 respondents taken by simple random sampling. Analysis of community perception is measured from economic aspects and ecological aspects. The relationship of each variable is measured using Spearman rank correlation. The results of the analysis state that the public perception of the economic aspects is good, because the existence of mangrove ecotourism provides additional income for the community, and viewed from the ecological aspects of community perception is also good, because the existence of mangrove ecotourism in the neighborhood is clean, well maintained, and protected by the presence of trees mangrove tree. Community participation is high, seen from the enthusiasm of the community involved in planning, implementing, utilizing, and evaluating every activity carried out in mangrove ecotourism. Thus, there is a strong relationship between perceptions and community participation, which means that if people's perceptions are increased then community participation also increases.Keywords: Perception , Participation, Ecotourism, Mangrove, Mempawah District.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMembakar hutan merupakan suatu metode praktis dalam persiapan lahan untuk keperluan perladangan yang paling murah dan sederhana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sifat fisika dan sifat kimia tanah dari tiga periode setelah dibakar pada ladang berpindah 3 tahun (PB3), 5 tahun (PB5), 10 tahun (PB10) dan hutan sekunder (HS) di Desa Kayu Bunga, Kecamatan Belimbing Hulu, Kabupaten Melawi. Variabel penelitian meliputi sifat kimia tanah yaitu bobot isi, kadar air kapasitas lapang, porositas total, pH. Sifat kimia yaitu nitrogen total (N-total), fosfor tersedia, kalium dapat dipertukarkan (K-dd), kalsium dapat dipertukarkan (Ca-dd), magnesium dapat dipertukarkan (Mg-dd), natrium dapat dipertukarkan (Na-dd), kejenuhan basa (KB), kapasitas tukar kation dan C-organik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PB5, PB3 dan HS bertekstur lempung berliat sedangkan PB10 bertekstur liat. Sifat fisika tanah bobot isi tertinggi dari keempat lahan terdapat pada  lahan HS (1,13 g/cm3), kadar air tertinggi pada PB10 (61,36%), porositas tertinggi pada PB10 (58,96%). Sifat kimia tanah N-total tertinggi pada lahan HS, PB10 dan PB5 yaitu sebesar 0,27%, C-organik pada HS sebesar 0,27%, pH tanah dengan nilai tertinggi pada PB3 yaitu 5,36, P-tersedia pada HS (16,66 ppm), Ca-dd tertinggi pada PB3 sebesar 1,11 cmol/kg, Mg-dd pada lahan PB3 yaitu 0,51 cmol/kg, Na-dd dengan niai tertinggi pada lahan PB 5 sebesar 0,46 cmol/kg, nilai tertinggi K-dd terdapat pada lahan PB5 yaitu 0,31 cmol/kg, KTK tertinggi pada lahan HS sebesar 12,15 cmol/kg dan KB pada lahan PB3 sebesar 21,68%.  Kata kunci: Sifat kimia tanah, sifat fisika tanah , periode setelah dibakar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the density and pattern of distribution of kepah (Polymesoda spp) in the mangrove forest of Mendalok village. The sampling study used the method of sweeping with excavation (MSDG). To determine the location of sampling using purposive random sampling method that is how to collect samples from members of the population randomly by selecting the regions that tepresent the location of the study. The research area was divided into 3 stations, namely station I zone mangrove Rhizophora, station II zone mangrove Bruguiera and station III zone mangrove Nypah. The distance between stations was 50 m2. Earch station is divided into 3 transect lines with a distance of 10 m2 and each transect line consists of 8 plots with a distance of 10 m2. Sampling of mussels was carried out one time during the study. Substrate retrieval and measurement of environmental parameters such as temperature, pH, and salinity were carried out at each station two times during the study. This research was conducted in September-November 2018. The populasin of kepah in this study location is classified as very low, with Polymesda erosa densities ranging from 0.25-1.83 individual/m², the density of Polymesoda expansa ranges from 0.13-0.25 individual/m². The distribution pattern in the location of this study as a whole is clustered on this matter, as indicated by the morisita (id) index value of Polyesoda erosa 1.74 and Polymesoda expansa 1.72 greater than 1(>1), which means the distribution pattern is clustered.Keywords : Density, Distribution pattern, Kepah shells

Abstract

Mutu benih merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam produksi padi. Penyakit Blas yang disebabkan oleh patogen Pyricularia grisea merupakan penyakit terbawa benih padi yang dapat menyebabkan kehilangan hasil panen yang serius di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Agronomi dan Klimatologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan viabilitas benih padi yang terkontaminasi P. grisae melalui coating benih yang diperkaya agen hayati. Penelitian menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari 9 perlakuan, yaitu: A=Formula coating diperkaya bakteri filosfer isolat SP21; B=Formula coating diperkaya bakteri filosfer isolat SP31; C=Formula coating diperkaya bakteri filosfer isolat RP21; D=Formula coating diperkaya bakteri filosfer isolat TP11; E=Formula coating diperkaya bakteri filosfer isolat TP12; F=Fungisida (benih dikontaminasi); G=Kontrol positif (benih yang terkontaminasi P. grisea); H=Kontrol negatif (benih tanpa coating dan tanpa agen hayati); I=Kontrol (benih dicoating tanpa bakteri). Masing-masing ulangan dibuat duplo sebanyak 2 gulungan. Hasil pemberian formula coating benih menggunakan agen hayati, perlakuan D (coating + isolat TP12) sudah mampu meningkatkan vigor benih padi pada pariabel pengamatan indek vigor dimana benih yang terkontaminasi sebelum dicoating memiliki nilai 42,00 meningkat menjadi 71,33%, daya berkecambah dari 73,33 meningkat menjadi 85,33-90,67%. serta mampu memperbaiki viabilitas benih menjadi lebih optimal pada pariabel kecepatan tumbuh, dimana benih yang terkontaminasi penyakit blas yang semula sebelum dicoating memiliki nilai sebesar 15,57 meningkat menjadi 19,47% / et mal

Abstract

ABSTRACTIndustry has a level of intense competition in the free market era, even at the distributor level. Consumers will feel satisfied with the service of distribution, if the product arrives on time, the right amount and the right quality. PT. Mitra Aneka Rezeki partners have a problem with the lack of inventory when there is an order and its distribution system, such as delivery time, the number and type of goods delivered to each company destination and the cost of goods distribution. Resulting in the occurrence of shortages or excess inventory in the company in question. This study aims to plan the scheduling of product distribution activities to be well coordinate and minimal distribution costs with the optimal number of shipments using the DRP method. DRP is a method for handling inventory procurement in a multi echelon distribution network. From the results of the research, the distribution of companies during 2017 was 144 shipments at a cost of Rp. 3.037.509.720,-., when appling the DRP method, distribution will only be carried out as much as 40 times at a cost of Rp. 2.928.412.580,-,resulting in a decrease in cost of Rp. 109.097.140,- or 3,6 %..Keyword : Aktivity, Distribution, scheduling

Abstract

ABSTRACT        Diversification of jelly-candy will be developed by pineaple flesh and core. the study of a pineapple jelly-candy (ananas comosus (l) merr): with different part of fruIt have find. The addition of pineapple core extract in the making of jelly-candy is a new breakthrough that makes jelly-candy more economical. The goal of this research was to find out of the best formulation of part of pineaple fruit best on physicochemical characterized and sensory evaluation. This research used randomized block design (RBD) of one factor, namely the proportion of flesh and core (f), consist of 5 levels are f(1): 100 % flesh; (f2):100 % core: f(3): 50 % flesh:50 % core; f(4): 25 % core:75 % flesh and f(5): 25 % flesh: 75 % core with 5 replications. The results showed that pineapple jelly candy-was produced by 100 % of core is the best formulation basev on physicochemical and sensory characterized. The physicochemical of pineapple jelly-candy were moisture content (12.40 %), ash content (0.46 %), Total Soluble Solid Solid  (27.14 °Brix), total acidity (0.06 %), Vitamin C (14.77 mg/100g), level of hardness (0.09 kgf). The best sensory characteristics were texture (3.8), the flavor of (3.20), aroma of (3.13), the color of (3.87), and preference 0f (3.63). Abstract

ABSTRAKPemanfaatan lahan pasca PETI sebagai lahan pertanian memerlukan sejumlah upaya untuk mengembalikan kesuburan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian lumpur laut dan biochar terhadap ketersediaan hara N, P dan K pada tanaman bayam merah pada tanah pasca PETI di Kecamatan Singkawang Tengah, Kota Singkawang. Penelitian  berlangsung dari bulan juli 2018. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan  Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari dosis lumpur laut: LL 0%, LL1 5%, LL2 10% dan LL3 15% dan dosis ampas tebu:  B0 %,  B1 2%, B2  4% dan  B3 6%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian lumpur laut dan biochar berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pH, C-organik, N-total, P-tersedia, K-dd, KTK, berat basah, dan berat kering tanaman. Namun, pemberian lumpur laut dan biochar tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun. Perlakuan L2B3 (lumpur laut 10% dan biochar 6%) dapat meningkatkan pH, C-Organik, dan K-dd dibandingkan dengan kontrol yaitu masing-masing sebesar 8,01, 0,95%, dan 0,42 cmol(+)kg-1. Perlakuan L2B0 (lumpur laut 10% dan tanpa biochar) dapat meningkatkan N-total dan KTK dibandingkan dengan kontrol yaitu masing-masing sebesar 1,29% dan 6,05 cmol(+)kg-1. Perlakuan L1B3 (lumpur laut 5% dan biochar 6%) dapat meningkatkan P-tersedia, berat basah dan berat kering tanaman dibandingkan dengan kontrol yaitu masing-masing sebesar 123,54 ppm, 17,87 g, dan 1,37 g. Pemberian perlakuan L1B3 (lumpur laut 5% dan biochar 6%) dapat meningkatkan berat basah dan berat kering tanaman bayam merah dibandingkan kontrol masing-masing sebesar 201,12% dan 156,25%. Kata Kunci : bayam merah (Alternanthera amoena Voss), biochar, lumpur laut, tanah pasca PETI

Abstract

ABSTRACT Mangrove forests in Mendalok Village have an area of 6 ha and ± 500 m2 which have been managed by BUMDes as mangrove tourism, which is named Polaria Tanjungpagar. This study aims to determine the potential of mangrove ecotourism seen from the perceptions, motivations of the society and visitors, knowing the density of the type of mangrove forest vegetation and knowing the suitability of mangrove ecotourism. This research was conducted from July-December 2018 in the mangrove forest area of Mendalok Village, Sungai Kunyit Subdistrict, Mempawah Regency, using survey, literature study and interview methods. The analysis of the data used in this research was the percentage of perception, motivations of society and visitors, tourist suitability analysis, analysis of attractions of ecotourism activities, analysis of regional carrying capacity and density analysis of mangrove vegetation. The results of the research on mangrove forests in Mendalok Village have ecotourism potential in the form of a high level of community participation for ecotourism activities of 83.33%, having the potential of mangrove resources for ecotourism development in the form of 12 species of mangroves that make the area suitable for ecotourism. The level of mangrove density in trees is classified as medium with a value of 1011.12 ind / ha, the level of saplings and seedlings is classified as a value of 12755.56 ind / ha and 38257.78 ind / ha which means that it has good regenersion and is suitable for ecotourism. Ecotourism suitability index in the area of organic waste flow with a very suitable category (SS), ecotourism areas have a very suitable category (SS) and unmanaged areas have conditional appropriate categories then the carrying capacity of Tanjungpagar Polaria mangrove area can only accommodate 40 tourists person / day. Based on the research findings of mangrove forests in Mendalok Village, it has the potential to be used as ecotourism. Keywords: Ecotourism, Potency, Mangrove

Abstract

ABSTRACTPhenolic extract of stem bark of the garlic tree (Scorodocarpus borneensis Becc.) as an antioxidant to inhibit distruction of fish fillets by proteolytic bacteria has been studied. The aim of the study was to determine relationship of the concentration of phenolic extract (methanol:aquades 70/30 v/v) stem bark of the garlic tree with ist antioxidant and inhibitory the destruction of fish fillets by proteolytic bacteria. The study was carried out by maceration of the wood garlic stem bark using methanol:aquades (70:30 v/v). While percent growth inhibition of proteolytic bacteria was expressed descriptively. The results showed total phenol of 100 ppm extract (70 MeOH: 30 H2O, v/v) stem bark of the garlic tree was 463.87 ± 2.73 mg GAE / g. Antioxidant activity of 100 ppm was 93.07%. Immersion in 10% solution of phenolic antioxidant extract stem bark of the garlic tree able to inhibit the growth of proteolytic bacteria which resulted in microbial damage of fish fillets during storage at 15° .  Keywords : antioxidant, proteolytic bacterial, phenolic, stem bark of the garlic tree

Abstract

ABSTRACTEnvironmental benefits as a reference in measuring the physical condition and quality of environment as a result of palm oil farmer’s measured through legality and management environment monitoring. Palm oil plantations are claimed to be one of the causes of environmental degradation. These problems trigger the need to research on palm oil farmer’s to find out the conditions in the field related to the influence of self-help palm oil farmer’s on the environment. This research aims to analyze the influence of legality and management environment monitoring of palm oil farmer’s on environmental benefits, in 150 respondents selected purposively. Data analysis using by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results of the research prove that the management environment monitoring of the plantation environment has a positive effect on environmental benefits, with the most affected indicators being fire prevention and control. This can increase independent palm oil farmer’s to maintain the sustainability of environmental benefits. Keywords: Environment Benefits, Legality, Management Environmental Monitoring, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
