TARBAWY: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education aims at promoting research in the broad field of Islamic education with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region. It is expected to be the medium for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, information, and technology among experts and practitioners of Islamic education. The editorial contents and elements that comprise the journal include: Theoretical articles Empirical studies Practice-oriented papers Case studies Review of papers, books, and resources. As far as the criteria for evaluating and accepting submissions is concerned, a rigorous review process will be used. Submitted papers will, prior to the formal review, be screened so as to ensure their suitability and adequacy to the journal. In addition, an initial quality control will be performed, so as to ensure matters such as language, style of references and others, comply with the journal´s style.

Abstract

Abstract Teenagers at this time are easily influenced by hoax news, so that it can lead to incorrect understanding. This indicates that in general teenagers just follow it without thinking critically in understanding the news circulating. With a qualitative approach to the design of the literature study, this study found several essential things. First, the lack of critical thinking in adolescents is due to factors from learning patterns that tend to be rote and this is incomplete in the view of the ta’lim concept. Second, the concept of ta’lim provides flexibility for students to continue to develop their critical thinking skills. Thus, the educational process is not just a transfer of knowledge but more than that, every student is required to use every potential that exists such as the potential to listen, see, and most importantly the potential to think critically.Abstrak Remaja pada saat ini sangat mudah terpengaruh oleh berita hoax, sehingga dapat menimbulkan pemahaman yang tidak benar. Ini  menandakan pada umumnya remaja hanya mengikuti saja tanpa berpikir kritis dalam memahami berita yang beredar. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif desain studi literatur penelitian ini menemukan beberapa hal esensial. Pertama Kurangnya berpikir kritis pada remaja karena faktor dari pola pembelajaran yang cenderung ke hafalan dan ini kurang lengkap jika dalam pandangan konsep ta’lim. Kedua, Konsep ta’lim memberikan keleluasaan pada siswa untuk terus mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritisnya. Sehingga, proses pendidikan tidak hanya sekadar transfer ilmu pengetahuan melainkan lebih dari itu, setiap siswa dituntut untuk menggunakan setiap potensi yang ada seperti potensi mendengarkan, melihat, dan yang terpenting potensi berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of the Prophet Muhammad was sent was to perfect human morality and the Prophet Muhammad PBUH as an example or role model who could be a role model for Muslims. The role model in the context of the verses of the Qur’an is called Uswah Hasanah. The success of the Prophet Muhammad in preaching was due to having uswatun hasanah in carrying out da’wah in which there were educational values both in terms of substance, approach and methodology. In the Qur’an the term Uswatun Hasanah is shown to the Prophet Ibrahim as and Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Uswatun hasanah of the prophets is a noble behavior that is an example for other humans. Uswatun hasanah includes being exemplary in morals, being patient in preaching, and being steadfast in facing tests. In the context of education, All parties involved in the educational process must be able to be role models for others. The success of the education and preaching of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH was because the prophet could be an example, an example, could be followed, and became a role model for others.Abstrak Tujuan Nabi Muhammad diutus adalah untuk menyempurnakan akhlah manusia dan Nabi Muhammad PBUH sebagai contoh atau suri tauladan yang bisa menjadi role model bagi umat Islam. Suri tauladan dalam konteks ayat Al-Qur’an disebut Uswah Hasanah. Kesuksesan Nabi Muhammad PBUH dalam berdakwah adalah karena memiliki uswatun hasanah dalam melakukan dakwah yang di dalamnya terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan baik dari sisi subtansi, pendekatan maupun metodologis. Dalam Al-Qur’an istilah Uswatun Hasanah ditunjukkan kepada Nabi Ibrahim a.s dan Nabi Muhammad PBUH. Uswatun hasanah para nabi merupakan perilaku yang mulia yang menjadi teladan bagi manusia lainnya. Uswatun hasanah meliputi teladan dalam akhlak, sabar dalam berdakwah, dan tabah menghadapi ujian. Dalam konteks pendidikan, semua pihak yang terlibat dalam proses pendidikan harus dapat menjadi teladan bagi yang lain. Kesuksesan pendidikan dan dakwah Nabi Muhammad PBUH adalah karena nabi dapat menjadi teladan, contoh, bisa diikuti, dan jadi panutan bagi yang lainnya.

Abstract

Abstract While the majority of research on academic supervision by supervisors is not related to current conditions, this research is focused on the millennial era. This study aims to describe the academic supervision carried out by Supervisors for Islamic Religious Education (IRE) Teachers at SMA and SMK Bandung City in pedagogic, professional, social, personality, spiritual and leadership competencies. This study chose a qualitative descriptive design approach to three IRE supervisors and 34 IRE teachers. The results of the study illustrate that planning, organizing and coordinating, implementing, evaluating, and supervising follow-up have achieved the target of increasing a number of IRE teacher competencies. The millennial era has become a pressure point for IRE supervisors by supervising and fostering teachers in using information and technology facilities. To balance IT skills, IRE supervisors also emphasize the importance of building the spiritual character of teachers, so that they are professionally and spiritually responsible.Abstrak Sementara mayoritas penelitian tentang supervisi akademik oleh pengawas tidak dikaitkan dengan kondisi zaman, maka penelitian ini difokuskan dalam era milenial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan supervisi akademik yang dilakukan Pengawas terhadap Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) SMA dan SMK Kota Bandung pada kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosisal, kepribadian, spiritual dan leadership. Penelitian ini memilih pendekatan kualitatif desain deskriptif terhadap tiga Pengawas PAI dan 34 Guru PAI. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan perencanaan, pengorganisasian dan koordinasi, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut supervisi telah mencapai target peningkatan sejumlah kompetensi Guru PAI. Era milenial menjadi titik tekan Pengawas PAI dengan mengawasi serta membina Guru dalam menggunakan fasilitas informasi dan teknologi. Untuk menyeimbangkan kemampuan IT, Pengawas PAI juga menekankan pentingnya membangun karakter spiritual Guru, sehingga mereka bertanggungjawab secara profesional dan spiritual.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe and analyze the learning model of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) and its supporting and inhibiting factors for deaf students in a public special school in Jakarta. This research uses a type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection procedures used are observation, interviews, and documentation. This study concluded that the learning model applied was the Problem-Based Learning Model and the Index Card Math Learning Model. These two learning models make students able to implement the meaning of learning, understand the meaning and content of Al-Qur’an readings, make students understand their obligations as a Muslim and be able to practice them in everyday life. The supporting factors are as follows: strategic school location, supporting facilities and infrastructure, enthusiasm for learning and parental support. While the inhibiting factors are: the lack of linguistic vocabulary, difficulty in communicating with deaf students, and an odd number of students.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan dan menganalisis model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya pada siswa tunarungu di sebuah SLB Negeri di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dan Model Pembelajaran Index Card Math. Kedua model pembelajaran ini membuat peserta mampu mengimplementasi makna dari pembalajaran, memahami arti dan isi bacaan Al-Qur’an, membuat siswa paham kewajibannya sebagai seorang muslim serta dapat mengamalkannya pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Adapun faktor pendukung sebegai berikut: lokasi sekolah strategis, sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung, semangat belajar dan dukungan orang tua. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya, yaitu: minimnya kosakata kebahasaan, kesulitan berkomunikasi dengan siswa tunarungu, dan jumlah siswa yang ganjil.

Abstract

Abstract This study describes the content of life skills in learning Islamic Religious Education. Through a qualitative approach, this research uses a literature review method. The objectives to be obtained are to provide in-depth assumptions about the material under study related to perceptions not on the basis of numerical judgments. The results of the research show that the life skills possessed can be implemented in society based on the religious values that are adhered to. Students can establish communication based on the delivered Islamic Religious Education material. The level of student concern is getting higher, communication links can be built in the community and school environment. Life skills education can overcome juvenile delinquency among students because they are already framed by religious norms. Abstrak Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang muatan life skill dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Melalui pendekatan kulitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian kepustakaan. Adapun tujuan yang ingin diperoleh hendak memberi asumsi mendalam terhadap materi yang diteliti berkaitan dengan persepsi bukan atas dasar penilaian angka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecakapan hidup yang dimiiki dapat diimplementasikan di masyarakat berdasarkan nilai-nilai agama yang dianut. Siswa dapat menjalin komunikasi berdasarkan materi Pendidikan Agama Islam yang disampaikan. Tingkat kepedulian siswa semakin tinggi, jalinan komunikasi dapat dibangun dilingkungan masyarakat dan sekolah. Pendidikan life skill dapat mengatasi kenakalan remaja dikalangan siswa karena mereka sudah terbingkai dengan norma keagamaan. Kurikulum yang disampaikan di kelas memuat pengembangan karakter sehingga siswa dapat mengatasi dekadensi moral yang terjadi di masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguatan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) melalui pembelajaran kepesantrenan dan mengungkap implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran PAI di sekolah umum. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui cara : 1) Observasi, 2). Wawancara, 3) Studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan penguatan PAI melalui pembelajaran kepesantrenan, proses penguatan PAI melalui pembelajaran kepesantrenan, dan faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Adapun implikasi dari penguatan PAI melalui pembelajaran kepesantrenan terhadap pembelajaran PAI di sekolah umum, meliputi implikasi pedagogis teoritis yang mencangkup tujuan, mata pelajaran, sumber, materi, metode, evaluasi, dan pembiasaan. Sedangkan implikasi pedagogis praktis mencankup guru sebagai pendidik dan peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Penguatan PAI, Pembelajaran, Kepesantrenan, PAI di Sekolah Abstract. This study aims to determine the strengthening of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) through Islamic boarding school learning and reveal its implications for Islamic Religious Education learning in public schools. This research is qualitative by using descriptive analytical method. The data in this study were obtained by: 1) observation, 2). Interview, 3) Document study. The results of this study include planning for strengthening PAI through Islamic boarding school learning, the process of strengthening PAI through Islamic boarding school learning, and the supporting and inhibiting factors. As for the implications of strengthening PAI through Islamic boarding school learning of PAI learning in public schools, it includes theoretical pedagogical implications that include objectives, subjects, sources, materials, methods, evaluation, and habituation. Abstract

Abstract The educational process in the pandemic era requires it to be carried out online. This study aims to determine the learning process of Islamic religious education, either in terms of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities or threats that occur in educational institutions that implement online learning. The research was conducted at Junior High School (SMP) Negeri 1 Tirtayasa, Serang Regency, Banten. By using observation and interview techniques, it can be concluded that the strength of the online learning process is that it can be carried out with flexible time, does not require a special place to make it easier for students to have discussions with parents. The downsides are the unstable internet network and limited internet quota. Opportunities from online learning are to train students to be independent in learning, to train students’ skills and skills in the realm of device skills. Meanwhile, the threats identified included a decrease in students’ eyesight, absorption of understanding, and a decline in student’s moral due to a lack of supervision.Abstrak Proses pendidikan di era pandemic mengharuskan untuk dilakukan secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, baik dari aspek kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang hingga ancaman yang terjadi pada lembaga pendidikan yang menerapkan pembelajaran secara daring. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 1 Tirtayasa Kabupaten Serang, Banten.  Dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kekuatan dalam proses belajar secara daring yaitu dapat dilangsungkan dengan waktu yang fleksible, tidak membutuhkan tempat khusus hingga memudahkan siswa menjalin diskusi dengan orangtua. Kelemahannya yaitu jaringan internet yang tidak stabil dan kuota internet yang terbatas. Peluang dari pembelajaran daring yaitu melatih siswa agar mandiri dalam belajar, melatih skill dan keterampilan siswa pada ranah keterampilan perangkat. Sedangkan ancaman yang teridentifikasi di antaranya menurunnya daya penglihatan siswa, daya serap memahami, hingga merosotnya moral siswa karena minimnya pengawasan.

Abstract

Abstract Patience is very important in everyday life, both in school education (formal) and education in the family. Patience requires certain mental processes and attitudes that are effective if taught in the family. Indonesian people use the concept of ‘patient’ very much, both in religious and cultural contexts. In everyday life, this concept is also widely used by people when facing various psychological problems, for example dealing with stressful situations, facing problems, disasters or when getting angry. The qur’an commands believers to adorn themselves with patience, because patience has great benefits in educating oneself, strengthening personality, increasing human ability to endure difficulties and face various problems and burdens of life.Abstrak Kesabaran sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, baik dalam pendidikan sekolah (formal) maupun pendidikan dalam keluarga. Kesabaran membutuhkan proses mental dan sikap tertentu yang efektif jika diajarkan dalam keluarga. Orang Indonesia sangat banyak menggunakan konsep ‘sabar’, baik dalam konteks agama maupun budaya. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, konsep ini juga banyak digunakan orang saat menghadapi berbagai masalah psikologis, misalnya saat menghadapi situasi stres, menghadapi masalah, bencana atau saat mengalami kondisi marah. Al-Qur’an memerintahkan orang beriman untuk menghiasi dirinya dengan kesabaran, karena kesabaran memiliki manfaat yang besar dalam mendidik diri, memperkokoh kepribadian, meningkatkan kemampuan manusia dalam menghadapi kesulitan dan menghadapi berbagai persoalan dan beban hidup.

Abstract

Abstract This article tries to dissect the direction of the development and application of religious moderation values in the Polytechnic. Conceptually, religious moderation is a process of believing in, understanding and practicing balanced religious teachings in the life of the nation and state. This research is a qualitative research, in which data from field studies were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Field research was carried out at the Bandung Polytechnic (Polban) and the Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ). The results of the study show that the direction of developing religious moderation in the Polytechnic prioritizes the cultivation of the value of tolerance which is entrusted to all Religious Education courses. The inculcation of the value of religious moderation is carried out through the delivery of material about tolerance in the views of religions in Indonesia and the implementation of joint activities in the form of inter-religious harmony projects. Abstrak Artikel ini mencoba membedah arah pengembangan dan penerapan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di Politeknik. Moderasi Beragama secara konsep merupakan sebuah proses meyakini, memahami dan mengamalkan ajaran agama yang berimbang dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, di mana data hasil studi lapangan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian lapangan dilaksanakan di Politeknik Bandung (Polban) dan Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa arah pengembangan moderasi beragama di Politeknik mengedepankan pada penanaman nilai toleransi yang dititipkan pada semua mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama. Penanaman nilai moderasi beragama ini dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi tentang toleransi dalam pandangan agama-agama di Indonesia dan pelaksanaan kegiatan bersama dalam bentuk projek kerukunan antar umat beragama.

Abstract Development of a character education model as an effort to prevent crime and demoralization in children in State Elementary Schools. The research focuses on the development of learning tools and teaching materials at SDN Parangtambung 2 Makassar, Indonesia. The research method aused is qualitative methods. The research objective is to produce learning tools based on character education at SDN Parangtamung 2 Makassar. Then develop teaching materials for character education models at the SDN Parangtambung 2 Makassar, Indonesia. The result of this study is that the ccharacter eeducation model can be a means to prevent crime and violence in children at SDN Parangtambung 2 Makassar, Indonesia.Abstrak Model Pengembangan pendidikan karakter adalah usaha mencegah kejahatan dan demoralisasi pada anak di Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Parangtambung 2 Kota Makassar, Indonesia. Fokus penelitian ini  adalah pengembagan perangkat pembelajaran dan pengembangan bahan ajar  di SDN Parangtambung 2 di Kota Makassar, Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah  metode kualitatif. Adapun Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang berbasis pendidikan karakter di SDN Parangtamung 2 Kota Makassar, Indonesia. Kemudian mengembangkan bahan ajar model pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Dasar Parangtambung 2 Kota Makassar. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu model Pendidikan karakter dapat menjadi sarana untuk mencegah kejahatan dan demoralisasi pada anak di SDN Parangtambung 2 Kota Makassar, Indonesia.
