Abstract

AbstractThe results of observations by  researcher?s analysis at school about mathematical disposition students get less attention from the teacher. It is because there is not tools to measure stufent?s methematical disposition.  The main purpose of this research is the discovery of student?s methematical disposition instruments that already have validity and high realibilty. The subject of this research are student?s from SMK-SMTI pontianak, as amounted to 261 student?s/ the development procedure of this Research and Development (R&D)  with data analysis technique such as content validity by panelist, panelist compabiltity construst validity, item validity, and relibility coefisien. All of content validity by panelist are valid. The reliability of panelst conformity is reliable because of the founded of the matemathical disposition instrument of 45 statements is 0,936. The school is obtained exact?y 12 indicators with 3 statements eliminated on construct validity. Furhermore, based on the result afte trial usage, there are 42 items valid and the reliability coeffisient is 0,911.It can be conclude that the instruments for mensuring mathematical disposition of high school students os already standard and reliable. Thus the developed mathematical disposition instrument is eligible to be used in capturing  data on mathematical disposition of middle school student?sKeyword: Instrument Development, Mathematical Disposition

Abstract

AbstractThis research is based on the students who passive and the monotonous teaching with lecture method from teacher during the learning process so that impacts to the achievement. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference of achievement and the influence of the use of guided discovery learning model with feedback on the students's achievement on the salt hydrolysis material. The form of the research used is quasi experiment with the research design "nonequivalent control group design in the form of pretest-posttest control group design". Samples were selected based on saturated sampling technique, class XI IPA 1 as experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as control class because the UTS grade of experimental class was lower than control class. The data collection tool used consists of a test of achievement consisting of pretest and posttest. Based on the analysis of posttest data with U-Mann-Whitney test obtained Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) of 0.003 < 0.05 which means there are differences in achievement between students using GDL model with feedback with students using conventional models. Calculation of Effect Size with GDL model with feedback gives 33,40% influence to student achievement on salt hydrolysis material grade XI SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak.          Keywords: GDL with Feedback, achievement, salt hydroliysis

Abstract

Abstract  The background of this research was the lack of junior high school students’ spatial reasoning and quantitative reasoning  in Pythagoras theorem. This research used Didactical Design Research (DDR) method which started by a preliminary study to 18 students of grade IX A Bumi Khatulistiwa  Junior High School.  The preliminary study was aimed to explore students’ learning obstacles to develep didactical design. The developed didactical design was implemented to 20 students of grade VIII A of Bumi Khatulistiwa  Junior High School. After this implementation the developed didactical design was revised. The results of this research were the learning tools used by previous teacher have  explored spatial reasoning and quantitative reasoning, the developed didactical design had minimized students’ epistemological obstacle.    Keywords: Didactical Design, Spatial Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Epistemogical Obstacle

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using categories game in teaching vocabularies on writing descriptive text. This study was conducted on seventh grade students of SMPN 14 Pontianak Timur in academic year 2016/2017. The research used a pre experimental research with one group pretest and post test. The subject of this research was VII I. The research data was collected by a test. It was analyzed by effect size formula. The findings of research showed that the students achievement on vocabularies, particular vocabularies on writing descriptive text significantly improved by using categories game. The interval between the mean score of pretest and posttest is 15.59 . It means that the interval between pretest and posttest score showed the increase after treatment conducted. Moreover, these findings were computed by t-test formula, where the t-value in this research is 6.21, compared with percentage points of the t-distribution with one tail probability (α) 0.05 on 41 number degree of freedom is 1.682. It means the t-value is higher than the percentage point of the t-distribution. The effect size obtained is 0.86 which is categoried large. Thus, the use of categories game to teach vocabularies on writing descriptive text to the students VII grade of SMPN 14 Pontianak Timur was effective. Keywords: Vocabulary, Categories game, Descriptive Text

Abstract

AbstractThe development of the learning module reduction reactions of oxidation with Constructivism approach is based on the low student learning results and the limited number of teaching materials that in accordance with the characteristics of student learning. The purpose of the development of this learning module is to produce learning media that can be used independently. Development model used in this research using the model of the 4-D include: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research results show that the design of the development of the learning module in this research consists of (1) Analysis of electrostatic curriculum and materials (2) analysis of the characteristics of students (3) Analysis of student learning tasks. Module development phase begins with do the arrangement of the material/writing module, then module review by the experts to show the module meets the feasibility criteria with an average of 3.77 values and field trials that shows a positive response to the use of module 83.2%. The module profile that is produced after the development phase meets the criteria of Self Instruction, Self Contained, Stand Alone, Adaptive and User Friendly. Students learning gains after the use of the learning module shows that the students can be actively using the module in the learning activities and the level of students understanding of the concept of oxidation reduction reactions good enough this can be seen from the average value of the students is 77.98 ≥75 (KKM).Key words:        Learning module oxidation reduction reactions, Constructivism approach

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe the language acquisition of children on the cognition aspects of the ability to read the beginning of primary school children based on the level of semantic memory (SM) or the process of understanding the sentence. This study used qualitative descriptive method and used psycholinguistic approach to analyze the language acquisition of child based on the reading ability of elementary school students based on semantic memory (SM) level. This research was conducted at State Elementary School 31 South of Pontianak. The data source of this research is children aged 6-8 years. Based on the research that has been done about the language acquisition of child on the cognition aspect of early childhood reading ability based on the level of semantic memory (SM) or the process of understanding the sentence, only 1 children can understand the reading content of the given indicator. The rest there are 16 children who only understand some of the reading so as to answer incomplete indicators and 8 children who do not understand the contents of the reading so that they can not answer the question of the indicator incorrectly. The importance of the experience gained in the child's surrounding environment is one of the factors that helps language acquisition in particular against the knowledge of reading. Therefore, parents should pay more attention to the process in order to read the language acquisition process can be improved. Keywords: Language Acquisition, Beginning Reading, Semantic Memory, Primary School Children,Psycholingistic

Abstract

AbstractThe influence of the use of model problem based learning on the learning results of class IPA V. This study aims to describe how much influence the use of model problem based learning on the results of IPA learning. The method used in this research is experimental method. Form of Quasi Experimental research forms non-equivalent control group design experiments design. Data collection techniques is a measurement technique. Based on statistical calculation average learning result of post-test of control class equal to 61,3 and experiment class post-test equal to 70,83. Hypothesis test results (t-test) obtained t_hitung = 2,84 for dk = 58 and α = 5% obtained t_tabel = (2,0021) which means t_hitung (2,84)> t_table (2,0021), then Ha received. From the calculation of effect size (ES) obtained ES of 0,82 the category Large. From the Explanation then, it can be concluded that there is influence of the model problem based learning on the results of study IPA class V State Elementary School A District Pontianak City. Keywords: Influence, Model Problem Based Learning, Learning                     Outcomes
