Abstract

  Abstract This study aimed to describe the learning outcome of students in the learning of Sciences adopted different types of talking stick Elementary School fourth grade 01 South Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive method. This research was conducted as much as two cycles each cycle two meetings. The results obtained are: (a) the ability of teachers write lesson plans first cycle of the first meeting on average 2,73, 2 meeting an average of 3.06, second cycle of the first meeting of an average of 3.36, the average meeting 2 3 , 63. (B) the ability of teachers to implement the first meeting of the first cycle of learning an average of 2.47, 2 meeting average of 3.10, second cycle of the first meeting on average 3.50, 2 meeting average of 3.68. (C) the results of study for students from the first cycle of the first meeting on average 67.78, meeting II average of 76.67, second cycle of the first meeting on average 82.22, 2 average meeting 86.56. This indicates that the application of the type of talking stick can improve learning outcomes fourth grade students of State Elementary School 01 South Pontianak.  Keywords: Enhancement, Learning Outcomes, Social Sciences, Type Talking Stick

Abstract

  Abstract         Kayaan Mendalam Putussibau community is a group of Dayak communities living in the interior of West Kalimantan Putussibau exactly in the northern part, people Kayaan Mendalam still adhere to the culture one is the engagement of indigenous culture. in a custom engagement, there are three stages: ake anaak, pehengkung Daho ', and betunang. This study focused on the semantic field that terminology in the indigenous community engagement Kayaan Mendalam Putussibau. The general problem is limited to two subproblems, namely the description terminolog, and type of meaning. The method used in this study is a survey method, observation, and interviews with qualitative terms .Data in this study are objects, food and traditional forms of engagement procession requirements. The technique used in this study were interviews and direct conversations. Based on the analysis found some sort of meaning contained in the study 43 and 10 lexical meaning of cultural meaning. Data terminology indigenous engagement by Ake Anaak stage found many as 13 terms, divided in 4 terminology requirements, 4 terminology tools, terminology and 5 food names. At stage of Pehengkung Daho 'there are 14 terms consisting of 3 terminology requirements, 9 terminology tool and the second name of the food. At stage of betunang found 23 terms, divided in 3 terminology requirements, 10 terminology tools, terminology and 10 food names.  Keywords: Terminology, Betunang, and Kayaan Mendalam Putussibau.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to describe improving student learning outcomes in mathematics using manipulative media in the Class III SD Negeri 21 Pontianak West.The method used in this research is descriptive. Forms of research is classroom action research. The nature of research is collaborative. The subject of this study were teachers as researchers and 36 third grade students of SD Negeri 21 Pontianak West consisted of 14 female students and 22 male students research procedure includes four stages: Planning, Implementing, Observations and Reflections. This research was conducted as much as two cycles. Results of the study are: 1) the ability of teachers in planning lessons in cycle 1 average of 3.34 increased to 3.92 in the second cycle. 2) the ability of teachers in implementing the learning in the first cycle, an average of 3.26 increased to 3.98 in the second cycle 3) An increase in the average learning outcomes of the third class in the first cycle average of 65.83 increased to 93.61 in the second cycle. The conclusion of this study is there an increase of students mathematics learning’s outcomes using manipulative media class III SD Negeri 21 West Pontianak. Abstract

Abstract This research is describes the measurement in the vocabulary of the Malay language in one Sambas dialect districts in Sambas district. This research focuses on the observation of objects of culture, namely the measurement. This measurement meaning is the measurement instrument that used by people and it's still traditional. Data was received from Semparuk village, Semparuk Districts which is located in Sambas regency West Borneo. The method used in this research is descriptive and qualitative research methods. The vocabulary measurement in this research with 34 data, this study is devided into five forms of measurement that is 1) the length, width, and height, 2) lots, 3) weight, 4) volume, 5) the size of the fruit. . All of the datas consist of 15 type of measurement for length, width, and height, 6 type of meaurement for pieces, 5 type of measurement for weight, 3 type of measurement for volume, and 5 type of measurement for fruits size. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab miskonsepsi siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Don Bosco Sanggau pada materi evolusi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 38 siswa. Sepuluh soal pilihan ganda berbentuk three tier diberikan untuk mengetahui distribusi konsepsi siswa. Konsepsi siswa dibagi menjadi empat kategori, yaitu memahami konsep, Lack of knowledge, error, dan Miskonsepsi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase konsepsi siswa untuk setiap kategori adalah memahami konsep (55%), lack of knowledge (10%), error (1,8%), dan Miskonsepsi (33,5%). Setelah diketahui miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa, peneliti melakukan wawancara untuk mengetahui penyebab miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa disebabkan faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, Evolusi, Three-tier Abstract: This study was aimed to discover 12th grade of science students’ conception in evolution in SMA Don Bosco Sanggau. The method that used in this research was a descriptive method with 38 students as the sample. Ten multiple choice questions in three-tier was given to find out the distribution of students’ conceptions. They were divided into four categories that are understanding concept, lack of knowledge¸ error, and misconception. The analysis results show that the average percentage of students’ conceptions on each category were understand concept (55%), lack of knowledge (10%), error (1.8%), and misconception (33.5%). After students’ misconceptions revealed, interview was conducted in order to figure out the causes. Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is "how efforts to improve reading skills beginning with the technique of finding a partner words and images in children age 5-6 years in early childhood Bed Sungai Raya?" Method in this study, using descriptive method with the form of classroom action research. The subjects in this study 15 children consisted of 10 boys and 5 girls. While data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation Based on the research that has been done and with the results obtained after the held data analysis, generally can be concluded that: Planning for learning by using search techniques pair of words and images to improve reading skills starters are categorized as "good", implementation of learning by using the technique of finding a partner words and pictures to enhance the ability to read the beginning categorized as "good". Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to describe the improvement of students’ ability to use FPB (Greatest Common Factor) and KPK(Lowest Common Multiple) to solve everyday mathematic problems by utilizing cooperative model jigsaw on the fifth grade students at SD Negeri 28 Pontianak Utara. The form of the research was descriptive study with classroom action reseach method counducted in 2 cycles. The data collecting technique were direct observation and measurement. The tols used were observation sheets and test. The findins of the research show an increase in the average score for teacher’s ability to compose lesson plans from 3,25 in cycle 1 to be 3,65 in cycle 2. The increase was noticeable at 0,40 point. The average score of teacher’s teaching activity had an increase by 0,81 point from 2,94 in cycle 1 to 3,75 in cycle 2. Moreover, the average score of students’ learning outcomes in quiz had an improvement by 17,6 points from 81,8 in cycle 1 to 99,4 in cycle 2. In the evaluation, the average score was also improved by 22,3 point from 75,1 in cycle 1 to 97,4 in cycle 2. The findings indicated that the teacher’s ability to compose lesson plans and to conduct teaching, as well as the student’s learning outcomes of mathematics subject regarding the use of FPB (Greatest Common Factor) and KPK(Lowest Common Multiple) to solve everday matchematics problem through cooperative model jigsaw in the fifth grade could be improved. Abstract

  Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang komperehensip mengenai kemampuan menejerial kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru bimbingan dan konseling di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak yang berkaitan dengan perencanaan, pengawasan, evaluasi, deskripsi, dankendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru bimbingan dan konseling.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber datanya terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling, .Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara terstruktur mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan dengan melakukan member chek, kecukupan referensi, dan melakukan triangulasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif yaitu dengan mendeskripsikan dan memaknai data.Hasil kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Perencanaan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi  guru bimbingan dan konseling di MAN 1 Pontianak telah disiapkan sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada, 2) Pengawasan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru bimbingan dan konseling di MAN 1 Pontianak telah dilaksanakan dengan cara pencegahan awal dan pencegahan tindakan, 3) Evaluasi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru bimbingan dan konseling di MAN 1 Pontianak telah dilakukan dengan cara melakukan supervisi kepada guru BK secara berkala, 4) Deskripsi kompetensi guru bimbingan dan konseling di MAN 1 Pontianak telah dilaksanakan dengan memahami kompetensi pedagogik dan membantu siswa terhadap kesulitan belajarnya, 5) Kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan  kompetensi guru bimbingan dan konseling di MAN 1 Pontianak sudah dapat diminimalisir dengan memberikan kesempatan kepada guru BK untuk mengembangkan karir.   Kata Kunci :  Kemampuan managerial kepala sekolah, guru BK Abstract : This study aimed to obtain information komperehensip regarding the ability of managerial principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak related to planning, monitoring, evaluation, description, and the constraints faced by principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling. This research is a qualitative descriptive penelitain. Source data is comprised of principals, vice-principals, guidance and counseling teachers, and students. Data collection procedures performed through observation, interviews and in-depth terstrktur, and documentation. Checking the validity of the findings made by the member check, the adequacy of reference, and triangulate. Analysis of the data used is qualitative analysis is to describe and interpret the data. The results of the following conclusions: 1) Planning principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak has been prepared in accordance with existing procedures, 2) Supervision principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak has been implemented by way of prevention early and preventive action, 3) evaluation of principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak has been done by supervising teacher BK regularly, 4) Description of the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak has been implemented by understanding competencies pedagogic and help students towards learning difficulties, 5) Constraints faced by principals in improving the competence of teachers in guidance and counseling MAN 1 Pontianak already can be minimized by providing opportunities for counseling teacher to develop a career.   Keywords:  Managerial Ability of School Principals, Teachers BK

Abstract

Abstract The study aims to analyze the interpersonal intelligence grade students high school of Islam haruniyah Pontianak. The shape of this research is a survey study. While the sample of this research is a class XI student high school of Islam haruniyah Pontianak. Data collection technique used was indirect communication in the form of multiple choice questionnaire totaling 58 items. to calculate the data using the questionnaire results and analysis techniques as follows percentage X% = x 100%. The formula to determine the range of scores by pophan and sirotnik (in Sari, 2013) as follows:  ideal - (Z x s ideal) s / d ideal + (Z x s ideal). Based on the results of data analysis showed that interpersonal intelligence reached 76.44% of students are in the high category.   Keywords: Interpersonal Intelligence

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed at discovering The Student’s Anxiety Factors in Speaking Test. The type of the research is descriptive quantitative, that was made to analyze the students’ anxiety in speaking test. The purposes of doing this research were to describe the levels of students’ anxiety, the sources of students’ anxiety and strategies that they used to decrease the anxiety when speaking. The technique of collecting data that was applied by the researcher was questionnaire (open and close questionnaire). It was found that most of the respondents have mildly anxious level of anxiety. Only a student has very relaxed level of anxiety. Factors of students’ anxiety come from learner beliefs about language learning, personal and interpersonal anxiety, and the instructor beliefs about language teaching. The main factor of students’ anxiety is learner’s belief. The strategies that were used by the students to reduce the feeling of anxiety are preparation, relaxation and positive thinking Keywords: Students’ Anxiety, Speaking Test, Anxiety Factors, Strategies     Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan factor kecemasan siswa dalam tes berbicara. Tipe penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, yang dibuat untuk menganalisis kecemasan siswa dalam tes berbicara. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan level kecemasan siswa, sumber kecemasan siswa dan strategi yang mereka gunakan untuk mengatasi kecemasan ketika berbicara. Tehnik pengambilan data yang dipakai peneliti adalah kuesioner (open dan close kuesioner). Penelitian ini menemukan hampir kebanyakan dari siswa berada pada level sangat rileks. Faktor kecemasan siswa berasal dari kepercayaan siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran, kecemasan personal dan interpesonal, dan kepercayaan instruktor dalam proses pengajaran. Strategi yang digunakan murid untuk mengurangi perasaan cemas adalah persiapan, relaksasi dan positif thinking.   Kata Kunci: Kecemasan Siswa, Tes Berbicara, Faktor Kecemasan, Strategi
