Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is titled ?Parents Social Control on Children in Using Smartphones (The Study in Dusun Sadong, Sungai Ambawang District. A common problem of this research ishow the Parents Social Control on Children in Using Smartphones (The Study in Dusun Sadong, Sungai Ambawang District? As for the sub-issues: 1)how the parents repressive social control on children in using smartphones? And 2) how the parents persuasive social control on children in using smartphones?This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection techniques of observation, interview and documentation study with data collection tool of observation guide, interview guide, note book and archives. Informants in this research were parents and children. Positive impact for children using smartphones such as to facilitate children looking for tasks from school, entertainment, and introduce children to interact socially with peers through technology. However, the perceived impact is generally more negative impacts such as children less concentrated learning, lazy learning, declining learning outcomes, forgetful time, and others. The results of this research indicate that parents have done social control in children that are repressive and persuasive. Repressive social controls by parents on children in using smartphones through reprimands and punishment. Persuasive social controls by parents through invitations, appeals, directions, and guidance.  Keyword: Social Control, Repressive, Persuasive, Smartphones

Abstract

 AbstractThe influence of self-concept of academic to student result of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri  1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan, with problem formulation is there influence of academic self concept to result of student learning of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan. The Method used is associative method with ex-postfacto research, the sample taken is the whole of teh population amounted to 67 student. Date were teken with indirect communication technique(quetionnaire), direct communication(interview), and documentary study(ducument). The test requirements used are validity test and rebility test. Data processing techniques using sample linear regression with the help of SPSS program version 16.0. The results showed that there is a significant influence between self-concept academic on student learning outcomes XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan. This can be seen from correlation table which shows that value of significance =0,000 meaning <0,05 with this means there is influence between  academic self-concept of student learning outcomes. The persentage of influence of self-concept of academic toward learning result is 55,1% which means student’s learning result is determined by student’s own academic self concept, while the rest 44,9% is determinet by outherfctor which not discussed in this research. Keywords : Academic Self Concepts, Learning Outcomes, Economic Subjects

Abstract

 AbstractThe problems in this research is the implementation of attainment concept learning with scientific approach towards student learning activity in economics subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak.The form of this research was a quasy experiment design with nonequivalent control group design. About 38 students on experiment class, XI IPS 1 that is the lowest student learning activity given treatment use the attainment concept learning with scientific approach. In this research, data is collected by observation sheets of student learning activity, observation sheets of learning, interview teachers and students, and documentation learning. Analysis techniques the data used the descriptive analysis. The result showed that in general the application of attainment concept learning with scientific approach is going well, and increased of student learning activity from meeting 1 namely 58,64 % category sufficient and 67,90 % at a meeting 2 category good. It means attainment concept learning with scientific approach increased student learning activity on grade XI IPS 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak.Keywords: Attainment Concept Learning, Scientific Approach, Student Learning Activity

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the research was to improve students? mathematic learning outcomes. This research was a classroom action research with descriptive method approach. Subjects of this research were 7th grade students of SMPN 2 Ella Hilir on 2015/2016 academic year consisting of 25 students. Based on the result of the research it could be concluded that students? learning outcomes on mathematic learning was increased by using lesson with KIT media. First cycle percentage was 60% and on second cycle percentage there were improvement from 12% to 72%. There were improvement on students? learning outcomes so a lesson with application of KIT media can improve learning outcomes of 7th grade students of SMPN 2 Ella Hilir.Keywords : KIT media, mathematic learning outcomes

Abstract

 Abstract This research aims to determine the use of two stay two stray method to the students’learning outcomes of mathematics of grader V SDN 12 Pontianak South. The research method used is a quasi experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. The number of research subjectis 48 students. Tool of Data collection used is in the form of essay test with six questions. The result of this research is the average of pre-test of experiment class is 25,67 while control class is 29,17. The average post-test of the experimental class is 79.29 and the control class is 69.25. From the result of t test, obtained tarithmeticequal to 2,62 with ttable 2.0273, it means tarithmetic> ttable concluded that there is difference of students’ learning outcome. Based on the calculation of effect size (ES), concluded that ES is 0.62. This means that the use of two stay two stray method impacts a moderate effecton the students’ learning outcome of mathematics of grader V SDN 12 Pontianak South. Keywords: Effect, Two Stay Two Stray, Learning outcome.

Abstract

Abstract The problem in this research is the customer perception through credit 5C value by Bank Rakyat Indonesia KCP Unit Gusti Situt Mahmud. The perception of Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) customer is process which customer interpret the impression and experience gained in order to give meaning and interpret it. Data accumulation technique in this research that: direct communication technique with interview guidance ,  direct observation technique with observation guidance,  documentary study technique in the form of documents. The technique of determining data credibility using technique triangulation. Data analysis technique consist of 3 that: data reduction, data display, and decision making. From the results of research on customer perception through credit 5C value by BRI KCP Unit Gusti Situt Mahmud was quite good result. However, the quality of credit service KUR less optimal and not efficient. This leads to  inefficiencies time and cost in the KUR submission process. This due to several factors including: a) Customers submit for KUR funds to bank are very crowded; b) the formation of employee is not comparable with many debtor submited for credit; c) Internet server in BRI office also sometimes disturbed ; d) Existence of credit file submission of KUR because employees mainly debtor identified. Keywords: : Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) and credit 5C value

Abstract

AbstractTraditional musical instruments are one of the musical instruments that are identical with the Malay Community in West Kalimantan. In this context researchers research the vocabulary in the making of traditional musical instrument Tar Melayu Sungai Kakap. The entire vocabulary is presented in full. The vocabulary is seen from elements of tools, processes, materials, and post-making. The method used in this research is descriptive linguistics. The data in this study is the overall vocabulary found in the manufacture of traditional Tar musical instruments. Sources of data in this study is the vocabulary that exists in the making of traditional musical instrument Melayu River Kakap received from the informant yanng is a craftsman Tar musical instrument. Data collection tool in this study is the researcher himself as a key instrument assisted by data collection tools. The data consists of 19 tool vocabularies, 8 material vocabulary, 13 processes, and 1 post-manufacture. Based on research conducted, the researchers managed to collect 41 vocabulary of making traditional musical instrument Tar Melayu River Kakap. Abstract

AbstrakThis research aimed to develop valid and appropriate test instruments to measura phonetical aspects of students’ mathaematical representation and communication in material about area and circumference of a circle. This research utilised formative research and development. The subjects of this study are tehe eight (VIII) grade students of SMP 9 Pontianak, during 2016/2017 academic year. There were 37 participants. The research found thet: (1) needs analusis found thar the teacher require to have test instruments that are suitable eith KTSP (education unit curriculum) due to differences between the old and test instruments that are being developed; (2) the validity of the test instruments about phonetical aspect of mathematic representation and communication of the aforementioned topic was 70%, reliability was 93%, distinguishing power was 32%, difficulty level was 32%, which can be categorized good; (3) in a 1-4 scoring scale, the students’ mathematical representation result showed thar, on average, top category students are 4, medium category students are3 and the bottom categorized students are 1. Keywords: Test Instrument, Representation Ability, Communicative Ability, Phonetical     Aspect

Abstract

AbstrakThis study was aimed to know the effectiveness of feedback method using leaflet to remediate students’ mistakes in solving solid pressure in SMPN 23 Pontianak. This study was a quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this study consisted of 28 students of class VIII B as experiment class 1 and 30 students of class VIII E as experiment class 2. Tools of data collection were essay test amount to five questions that has been validating (level of validation 3.5 in moderate category) and test reliabilities (level of reliabilities 0.489 in moderate category). This study showed that the percentage of students’ mistakes of experiment class 1 was 52.8% and experiment class 2 was 52.9%. The lowering of students’ mistakes happened to 12.5% and 15.3%. Based on the result of U-Mann Whitney with 5% significant equal obtained -Zhitung< -Ztabel, that was 0.05 < 1.96 so Ho accepted. The result showed that there was no different of the number of students’ mistakes between the class that remediated by feedback method using leaflet and without leaflet. It was hoped that this research can be a reference to the educators in doing remediation.Keywords: Feedback Method, Students’ Mistakes, Leaflet, Solid Pressure

Abstract

Abstract A common problem in this research is whether the CTL approach can improve the narrative writing skills of VB class SDS Pertiwi Pontianak Tenggara? The general objective of this research is to improve the narrative writing skills by using CTL VB class SDS Pertiwi Pontianak Tenggara. This research used a descriptive method with class action research form, and the nature of research is collaborative. The research took place in SDS Pertiwi of Pontianak Tenggara with research subject is student of VB class which amounted to 26 people. Data collecting technique used is direct observation technique with data collection tool that is observation sheet and measurement with data collection tool test. The collected data is analyzed by calculation of averages and percentages. This research is done as much as II cycle with 2 times meeting at every cycle. The results obtained are the ability of teachers in designing learning in the first cycle with an average score of 3.17, second cycle increased to an average score of 3.93. The result of the teacher's ability to carry out the learning on the first cycle with an average score of 3.29, on the second cycle with an average score of 3.98. Student learning outcomes on learning narrative writing skills on the first cycle average is 75.78 and the average cycle II is 83.07. From the analysis of data that were obtained, this shows that the use of CTL approach can improve narrative writing skills. Keywords: Improvement, Writing Skill, Essay of CTL Approach
