Abstract

Abstract This study aims to look at the effect of discovery models on learning outcomes of style materials and their benefits in thematic learning in fourth grade students of elemtary schools 56 west Pontianak. Thesis. Program for student learning material style and its benefits, such as the nature of the styles, various styles, grade IV public elememtary school west Pontianak. This study uses an pre-experimental design experimental type, with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The population in this study is all grade IV students of 56 elementary schools in west Pontianak. The sample in this study was class IV A amounting to 39 as an experimental class. Data collection techniques, with data collection tools in the from of a test of 50 questions. Then the analysis is done using test. Based on the analysis results obtained tcount (61,56)>ttabel (39,80) then Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded there is an influence of learning outcomes between students using the N-Gain valu of 0,56 (medium criteria). This means that learning by applying the discovery model has a moderate effect on student learning outcomes in grade IV public elementary schools 56 Pontianak Barat. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konseptual dan penalaran adaptif siswa dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Probing-Prompting dengan bantuan alat peraga pecahan. Tahapan pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai dengan memberi tes 1 di kelas VII B SMP Bruder Pontianak yang berjumlah 32 siswa untuk melihat tingkat pemahaman konseptual dan penalaran adaptif siswa dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan. Selanjutnya analisis dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap beberapa siswa yang untuk mengetahui kesalahan pemahaman konsep dan juga alasan dari jawaban yang diberikan. Tahapan berikutnya adalah memberikan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Probing-Prompting pada kelas VII C SMP Bruder Pontianak yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Pendekatan pembelajaran Probing-Prompting yang dirancang meliputi RPP, LKS serta kegiatan menyusun dan menemukan konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan dengan bantuan alat peraga pecahan. Selanjutnya para siswa kelas VII C diberikan tes 2 untuk melihat tingkat pemahaman konseptual dan penalaran adaptif dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan setelah pembelajaran. Kemudian melakukan analisis terhadap jawaban yang diberikan dan melakukan wawancara terhadap beberapa subjek penelitian. Adapun hasil penelitian ini secara umum adalah berupa rekomendasi dan contoh penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konseptual dan penalaran adaptif siswa dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the effect of the application of the demonstration method on poetry reading skills of students in grade IV 39 Primary Schools in Pontianak Kota. The method used is an experimental method with a form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of grade IV 39 Primary Schools in Pontianak Kota. The sample in this study was class IV B totaling 30 as a control class and class IV C totaled 31 as an experimental class. The data collection technique used is the measurement technique with measurement tools. Then an analysis based on the results of the post-test used the t-test. The research results obtained t count (4.3057)> t table (2.056), then Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the application of the demonstration method to the poetry reading skills of students in grade IV 39 Primary Schools in Pontianak Kota. From the calculation of the effect size the ES is 1,19418 (high category). This means that learned by applied the demonstration method gives a high effect on poetry reading skills of students in grade IV 39 Primary Schools in Pontianak Kota. Abstract

Abstract The main issue on this article discusses how the influence of the use of survey, questions, read, recite, review (SQ3R) method on students' reading comprehension skills. The research method is used quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was all fifth grade students of Sadayan 07 Public Elementary School, totaling 41 students. Based on the results of research analysis, the average post-test score of the experimental class was 62.36 while the average post-test score of the control class was 53.93. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, the tcount was 2,351 and the t-table was 2,027. Because tcount (2,351) > ttable (2,027), Ha is accepted. Based on the Effect Size calculation, the result is as high as 0.66 in the medium criteria. So it can be concluded that the application of survey, question, read, recite, and review methods have a positive influence on the reading skills of students in grade V at Sadayan 07 Public Elementary School. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of the application of crossword puzzle in improving students interest. This research was conducted using pre-experimental design with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this research was seventh grade students of SMP N 9, consisting 30 students. The techniques of data collection are indirect communication techniques and documentary study technique. The tools of data collection in this research were check list to measure the students insterest before treatment and after treatment and note sheet or document. Based on data analysis, the average rates of students interest before treatment is 17, 25 or 58% in moderate category. Whereas from the calculation of learning interest after being treated there was an increase in every aspect so that the average obtained increased by 23 or if the percentage was 77% with a strong category. From the calculation of the effect size obtained a result of 1 with a high category which means the media of learning crossword puzzles has an effect or a big influence in increasing students' interest in learning in social studies subjects VII F SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to determine how much influence between the attention of parents with learning outcomes of students of class VII IPS at SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak. The research method that used is descriptive quantitative research. The sample in the study was 66 grade VII students taken at random (Simple Random Sampling) and the data were questionnaire statements about the attention of parents with 5 indicators namely providing guidance and advice, supervising children, giving awards and punishment, fulfilling facilities learning, and creating a calm, comfortable and peaceful home atmosphere. Based on the results of data analysis conducted by researchers concluded that: 1) the attention of parents show results with 78.8% (52 students) have a medium category. 2) IPS learning outcomes obtained by 71.2% (47 students) have a medium category. 3) The influence of parental attention with learning outcomes is 0.791 with a significant standard level of 0.05 (5%). So that the results of arithmetic > t table are 11,124> 1,999 From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between parents attention to the learning outcomes of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak in IPS. Abstract

Abstract The research aims to describe the implementation of honest character, tolerance, discipline and creative and the inhibiting factors for the implementation of honest character, tolerance, discipline and creative class V in SDN 29 Pontianak Kota. This study uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques and sources. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of honesty, tolerance, discipline and creative character education in class V at SDN 29 Pontianak Kota includes three aspects namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Planning is done by incorporating character education into the school's vision and mission and school rules. Implementation of honesty, tolerance, discipline and creative character by integrating self-development activities, subjects, and school culture, while the evaluation is done by attitude assessment. (2) The inhibiting factor of the implementation of honest, tolerance, discipline and creative character in class V SDN 29 Pontianak Kota consists of the first internal factor which is the lack of self-awareness of students. The two external factors, namely the social environment and the differences in culture at school with the culture at home. Abstract

AbstractThe existence of good administration and management will greatly support the guidance and counseling programs that exist in schools. Administration includes all activities that are planned and carried out regularly to achieve the educational goals outlined. The administration intended in this study includes studentsbiodata, observation guidelines, anecdotal record, student call formats, and home visit record formats. The general problem of this research is How is the administration and guidance counseling management study of SMK Negeri 5 Pontianak in 2019?. In this research, the method used is descriptive method. The form of research used was a survey. Data collection tools used are documentation studies and interviews. The results of the study stated that in the administration of guidance and counseling administration, the aspects studied were in the form of studentsbiodata, observation guidelines, anecdotal record, student call formats, and format of home visit records of SMK Negeri 5 Pontianak in 2019 as a whole as complete as it meant in how to make, use, evaluate criteria and evaluate every aspect of the administration of guidance and counseling has been going very well.Keywords: management administration, vocational high school administration.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the influence of implementanting Teams Games Tournament in thematic learning on student learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students 56 pontianak barat. Experimental method is in the form of pre experimental design research with one grup pretest-postest design. Population in this research consists of 39 students. Sampling teqnique used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were measurement techniques, with data collection tools in the form of multiple choice. Based on statistical calculation obtained an average pre-test value of 61,67 and an average post-test value of 81.76. T test results obtained that tcount= 51,55 dan ttable ? = 0,01 (with dk= 39-1= 38) =39,80 it means tcount= 51,55 > ttable =39,80. Then alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Based on the N-Gain analyze obtained value of 0,50 wich is categorizes as medium criteria. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the relationship of parents' education level with social studies learning achievement in class VIII at SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. This research uses a quantitative approach with this type of research is ex post facto research. The population of this study was 138 students. How to take samples using the formula Isaac and Michael with an error rate of 10% to obtain 46 Responden. The sampling technique is done randomly (Simple Random Sampling). The variables studied were Parental Education Level (X) with Social Studies Learning Achievement (Y). Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. Instrument validation uses expert judgment and reliability with internal consistency using the Cronbach Alpha Technique. The analysis technique used is Product Moment Correlation. Based on the analysis of the data the researchers conducted, it was concluded that: 1) The level of education of parents of Kalas VIII had a moderate category with the data acquisition of 31 students (67.4%) in that category, 2) Learning achievement of social studies subjects was obtained by 27 students ( 58.7%) students have moderate achievement. 3) The magnitude of the Relationship between Parents' Education Level and Social Studies Learning Achievement in VIII grade of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya is strongly correlated, with a significance level of 5%, r values greater than r tables (0.654> 0.291).
