Abstract

The prevalence of anemia caused by iron deficiency is still a problem for adolescent girls in Kediri Regency. Based on data at SMA 1 Mojo, it is known that there were 85 students suffering from anemia in 2019 and from 2020 to January there were 32 students. This study uses a reminder application used as a reminder of the time to take blood-added tablets. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the use of an Android application-based reminder to drink blood-added tablets on the compliance of anemic adolescents in SMA 1 Mojo, Kediri Regency. The research design used one group pretest-posttest. A sample of 30 students was selected by simple random sampling. The results showed that the mean of pretest compliance was 3.2 and the average posttest was 6.5. The results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test showed that there was a significant difference in adherence before and after being given a reminder application (p-value <0.001). This increase in compliance occurs because of the reminder application as a reminder to consume blood-added tablets according to the time recommended by health workers. Abstract

The decline in immunization coverage in Indonesia is followed by high mortality and morbidity for toddlers, one of which is caused by Acute Respiratory Infections. The government conducted an immunization program aimed at primary prevention of diseases that cause ARI with pentabio immunization. This research aims to determine the correlation between the completeness and accuracy of pentabio basic immunization with the incidence of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in toddlers in Dinoyo Public Health Center in Malang. The design of this research was correlation analytic using documentation studies on medical records, immunization registers and infant cohorts through a retrospective approach. The sample used was all sick toddlers who checked themselves in Dinoyo Community Health Center Malang City in July-September 2019 who met the inclusion criteria of 164 respondents using total sampling technique. The results of the analysis using the Chi Square Test obtained p-value of 0,000 (? ? 0.05) followed by a Contingency Coefficient Test with a value of C = 0.426 indicating that there was a significant relationship between the completeness and accuracy of pentabio basic immunization with the incidence of acute respiratory infections at toddler at Dinoyo Public Health Center in Malang City with a moderate level of closeness. Pentabio basic immunization given precisely and completely can prevent ARI in toddlers. Health facilities and midwives are expected to increase public awareness about the importance of completeness and accuracy in providing basic immunization for pentabio according to the basic immunization delivery schedule. Abstract

Tounge tie is a variation of the anatomy of the tongue frenulum, the frenulum being shorter and thicker than normal shape. This incident is experienced in many infants (General & General, 2013). Based on a preliminary study conducted at the Jember Clinic Hospital in August 2019, it was found that 20% of 45 baby births had tongue tie. This study aims to determine the relationship between tongue tie classification and billirubin levels of newborns at the Jember Regency Private Hospital. This type of research is a quantitative study with cross sectional approach. The population of 22 infants aged 0-7 days in January 2020 to April 2020 and obtained a sample of 22 babies using the incidental sampling technique. Data collection instruments using the patient's medical record file. Measuring instruments used are intervals and nominal with Spearman rho analysis using 2 tails significance with a confidence level of 95% (? = 0.050). The results showed a significant value <0.050 (0,000 <0.050) which means that there was a significant relationship between the tongue tie classification variable and the variable billirubin content. For health workers, especially midwives need to improve the ability to identify babies with tongue tie to prevent the increase in billirubin levels in newborns. Abstract

Early initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) is the process of the baby to suckle soon after being born or the baby left looking for her mother's nipples. One of the factors that play an important role in the success of the implementation of the IMD is to support the health workers or that can be realized from the attitude and behavior of health workers. According to the Health Profile of Indonesia year 2017 to 2018 achievement of the IMD in the newborn decreased from 73,06% be 71,17%. The purpose of this study is to determine a relationship of the attitude of the midwife towards the success of the IMD in the Aura Syifa Hospital Kediri Regency. Type of research used Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study was all midwives on duty in the room of maternity as many as 17 people. The sample used in this study consisted of 17 respondents with a Total sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires and data collection tools in the success of the IMD using the observation sheet. Data analysis using statistical test Fishers Exact. The results of statistical tests using a test with level ? = 0.05 where ? value = 0,015. From the results of the count 0.015 < 0.05 then H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted so it can be concluded that There is a relationship of the attitude of the midwife towards the success of the IMD in the Aura Syifa Hospital Kediri Regency. For the next expected to the midwife to apply the IMD is better again with regard to the condition of the baby and the mother. Keywords: Midwife’s Attitudes, Early Initiation of Breastfeeding.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a menstrual disorder characterized by lower abdominal pain and even back pain that is often experienced by young women. This is due to increased levels of prostaglandins, causing the uterus to contract. One way that can be done with non-pharmacological therapy, namely effleurage massage (massage). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of effleurage massage on the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea pain. One Group Pretest-Postest research design with a sample of 22 respondents who experienced primary dysmenorrhea. The instruments used were SOP effleurage massage and observation sheets with Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The results of the analysis with the Wilcoxon test showed that there were differences in the level of pain intensity of dysmenorrhea before and after it was given (p-value <0.001). Effleurage massage provides an effect in the form of reducing pain by modulating the pain that arises by breaking pain receptors into relaxation and encouraging the release of endorphins. Effleurage massage can be used as a way to reduce the pain of dysmenorrhea because it is proven to be easy, effective, free of cost, and without side effects. Abstract

Menopause is a cycle that all women will experience. During menopause, many symptoms are associated with reduced estrogen production. Menopause also affects cholesterol levels, causing an increase in LDL, which can narrow and clog arteries so that blood flow becomes blocked and consequently increases blood pressure. This study aims to determine the effect of giving pepino fruit to changes in blood pressure in postmenopausal women with primary hypertension. The design used is a pre-experiment with a one group pre test post test design. The total population is 26 postmenopausal women aged 45-60 years. This study used purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 21 respondents. Respondents who entered the inclusion criteria were given the treatment of giving pepino fruit for each rice to be consumed after breakfast for 7 consecutive days. The instruments used to collect data are mercury sphygmomanometer and questionnaire. The results showed that there was a decrease in systolic blood pressure by 62.5% and diastolic blood pressure by 74.2%. The results of the statistical paired t-test with a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 20 have obtained t-count > t-table (systole = 8.05> 1.72 and diastole = 8.22> 1.72) there is an effect administration of pepino fruit on changes in blood pressure in postmenopausal women with primary hypertension. Purple pepino fruit contains potassium which can lower blood pressure by blocking calcium channels. Thus, health workers are expected to pay more attention to the health of postmenopausal women by means of early detection, counseling and treatment of hypertension.
