Abstract

The adverse topic of women in sports stems from society's disregard to viewing women as persons. Women were, and in other parts of the world continue to be viewed as property of men and have no significant role in society. Being allowed into the Olympics was a step in the right direction for women across the world, but it was meager attempt equality. Women were still restricted by what events they were allowed to compete in, how they were trained and coached and even limited as to what they could wear. This article will evolve around the subject of female integration and participation in athletics in the Olympic Games, analyzing the initial difficulties they encountered, the role played by sports institutions as well as international federations and the Olympic International Committee.

Abstract

India is a rich site for studying intertextuality and influence due to its contemporary and colonial history of postcolonial culture. British imperialism in India was more pragmatic than other colonial powers, being motivated by economics rather than evangelism. During the emergence of Orientalism, India was the first nation to have a literary impact on the West, but this equation was reversed during colonial intervention. While some critics denounce or acclaim the West's effect on India, Indian writers' responses show complex instances of intertextuality and influence in the form of reception. The literary movement in India has been shaped by the traditional attitudes, culture, social life, and politics of the local people. British rule in India lasted for more than two hundred years and its authority halted the ruling power of the Indian subcontinent. The impact of British colonialism on Indian literature and social life is evident. Understanding English literature history is crucial for understanding English people's way of life, including their educational, social, and cultural attitudes. This research paper examines in detail the effect of colonial rule on English literature in India.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, promotion, Brand Image and Brand Trust on purchasing decisions for Toyota cars (a case study of the Toyota Avanza in Lhokseumawe City Communities). The research method in preparing this thesis uses quantitative research methods. The sampling method uses a non-probability sampling method, because the population studied is infinite (a population whose number and identity of population members is unknown). The results of the conclusion obtained that. The product quality variable concludes that Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted, so it is in accordance with the decision that the variable X1 has no effect on the Toyota Avanza Car Purchase Decision for the Community in Lhokseumawe City, while for the promotion variable, Brand Image and Brand Trust partially affect purchase decisions.

Abstract

Increasing theoretical and conceptual understanding of human talent management (HTM) is the aim of this research. To clarify the important connections between competency emphasis, talent pooling, talent investment, and talenting orientation and value generation, authors have put out a conceptual framework and a few propositions. A human talent management model has been presented by the authors, which could help academics and practitioners alike better comprehend the talent management orientation. Also, using this approach, practitioners may be able to intelligently match talent strategies with company objectives to produce higher economic value (Shareholders, Employees, Owners, Customers, agents, and other stakeholders).

Abstract

Concrete is part of a construction formed by a mixture of cement, water, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate either crushed stone or gravel and other mixed materials. Fiber concrete is concrete whose method of manufacture is added with fiber, both man-made fiber and natural fiber such as palm fruit bunches. The addition of palm fruit bunches to the concrete mix is expected to increase the compressive strength of concrete. The percentage of addition of palm marks is 6%, 8% and 11% by weight of cement with FAS 0.35. The test object used was a cube (15 x 15 x 15) cm with a total of 12 test objects for 7 days of age and 12 test objects for 28 days of age. The results of the 7-day average compressive strength test for BTTS were 310.76 kg/cm2, BDTS (6%) were 260.23 kg/cm2, BDTS (8%) were 237.83 kg/cm2 and BDTS (11%) were 244.67 kg/cm2. cm2. Testing the compressive strength at an average age of 28 days obtained results for BTTS of 342.20 kg/cm2, BDTS (6%) of 294/18 kg/cm2, BDTS (8%) of 269.42 kg/cm2 and BDTS (11%) of 279.72 kg/cm2. From the results of the compressive strength test, the average test age of 7 days and 28 days shows that the addition of palm fiber can reduce the compressive strength of concrete in all variations, namely 6%, 8% and 11%.
