Abstract

In the process of learning  cast disct in SMP Negeri  5 Pontianak is not effective, and as a result the target for curriculum  is very low. It causes the narrow yard and it is made from cement that cause the difficulty in learning cast disct in once meeting, students can only get one chance to practice. Based on  that things the writer try to improve the effectiveness of learning cast disct of student in SMP Negeri  5Pontianak. The problem in this classroom action research is how to improve the effectiveness of learning cast disct by modifying the disk from  scrap of cloth the students of XI B SMP Negeri  5 Pontianak. The researcher use measurement technique/ test and indirect  observation technique for collecting the data in this research, and the tool of data collection is skill test   to measure the learning of cast disct by holding, swinging, realizing the disk. The acquisition data from the classroom action research  are the cycle stages of learning. The result of classroom action research that is done, the researcher can describe in cycle stages. And the write can conclude that the capability of learning the way to hold disc is very effective, the capability of learning the way to swing the disc is very effective, and the capability of learning the last attitude throwing the disc is effective, in the other hand the students’ respond toward the learning is very satisfied. Keyword: the effectiveness of learning cast disct, media, modified the disc from scrap of cloth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan utuk mereduksi miskonsepsi mahasiswa calon guru fisika tentang rangkaian listrik melalui penerapan model ECIRR (Elicit-Confront-Identify-Resolve-Reinforce) menggunakan kombinasi real laboratory dan virtual laboratory. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian tes diagnostik berbantuan CRI (Certainty of Response Index) saat pre test dan post test pada satu kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah mahasiswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi berkurang dan tanggapan yang positif dari mahasiswa dan dosen tentang penerapan model ECIRR menggunakan kombinasi real laboratory dan virtual laboratory. Kata kunci : miskonsepsi, model ECIRR, real laboratory, virtual laboratory.   The purpose of this study was to reduce misconceptions held by pre-service physics teacher aboutelectric circuit concepts through the application of the ECIRR (Elicit-Confront-Identify-Resolve-Reinforce) model using a combination of real and virtual laboratory. The method used in this study was pre-experimental research design to form a one-group pretest-posttest design is done at a university in Pontianak. Research data were collected by using diagnostic test  that include Certainty of Response Index (CRI) and questionnaire.The results showed a decrease in the quantity of misconceptions ECIRR after application of the model using a combination of real laboratory and virtual laboratory. Pre-service teacher andlecturerresponded positivelyto heapplication of the modelusing a combination ofreal ECIRR virtual laboratory and laboratory. Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the critical thinking skills students of physical education PGMIPA-U on material direct current circuits. Methods used in this study is simple descriptive. where all students PGMIPA-U ever get the material in the direction of the electric circuit asrus basic physics II participated in this research. Based on the analysis of the data found that the average critical thinking skills possessed by students of physics education PGMIPA-U on direct current electrical circuit material is 62.98%. We hope this research can be used as evidence of the earliest descriptions of the critical thinking skills that can be used by interested parties.   Key Word : Critical Thinking Skill

Abstract

This research was purposively to provide a model of society empowerment and effective school commottee development at junior high schoool levels of Dayak Isolated Community as an effort of accelerating access on education. The school committee model resulted will be much more adaptable, and enable to accelerate education access for the Dayak Isolated Community that is still low in dealing with, to actively maximize their participation in handling education. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model pemberda-yaan masyarakat dan pengembangan komite sekolah yang efektif  di  sekolah lanjutan tingkat pertama (SLTP)  pada masyarakat dayak pe-dalaman sebagai upaya percepatan akses pendidikan. Model komite sekolah yang dihasilkan akan lebih adaptif dan mampu meningkatkan perluasan akses pendidikan pada masyarakat dayak pedalaman yang masih rendah tingkat partisipasinya dalam bidang pendidikan. Model komite sekolah yang dihasilkan diharapkan mampu memberdayakan masyarakat dayak pedalaman untuk berpartisipasi dalam penyelengga-raan pendidikan. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dekriptif komparatif untuk menggambarkan perbandingan tingkat asertifitas mahasiswa PG-PAUD ditinjau dari hasil The Rathus Assertiveness Schedule (RAS) dan Assertiveness Rating Scale (ARS). Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGPAUD  angkatan tahun 2011 dan 2012 yang keseluruhannya berjumlah 70 mahasiswa. Alat ukur yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah  The Rathus Assertiveness Schedule (RAS) dan Assertiveness Rating Scale (ARS) yang dimodifikasi. Dalam skala asertivitas mengukur tingkat asertifitas individu dengan menetapkan tiga kategori penilaian yaitu sepanjang waktu (skor 3), kadang-kadang (skor 2) dan jarang (skor 1). Skala asertifitas ini di  Analisis data akan dilakukan secara deskriptif yaitu menguraikan skor data hasil skala asertifitas pada 66 mahasiswa secara kuantitatf dan secara statistic dengan menggunakan uji t untuk melihat perbandingan variabel. Hasil penelitian Berdasarkan analisis data yang dialakukan dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson (2 taled), menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan  perilaku asertif pada mahasiswa PGPAUD pada angkatan 2011 dan 2012 yaitu diketahui dari nilai r yang diperoleh sebesar -0,87 dengan signifikansi 0,629 > 0,05 (p>0,05). Dari hasil tersebut, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa secara keseluruhan dari perhitungan uji statistik yang dilakukan disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan tingkat asertifitas pada mahasiswa PGPAUD angkatan tahun 2011 dan 2012, yaitu t hitung (1,816) < t tabel (2,04), sehingga Ha ditolak dan H0 diterima. Kata Kunci : Studi Komparasi, Assertiveness, Mahasiswa   Abstract : This study is a comparative descriptive study to illustrate the comparative level of student asertifitas PG-PAUD in terms of the results of the Rathus Assertiveness Schedule (RAS) and Assertiveness Rating Scale (ARS). The subjects were students PGPAUD force in 2011 and 2012 the total amounted to 70 students. Measuring instrument used in this study is the Rathus Assertiveness Schedule (RAS) and Assertiveness Rating Scale (ARS) are modified. In assertiveness scale measuring the level of individual asertifitas to establish three categories of assessment that is all the time (score 3), occasionally (score 2) and rare (score 1). This asertifitas scale in the data analysis will be carried out descriptive outlines asertifitas scale score outcome data on 66 students in kuantitatf and statistically by using t tests to compare variables. Based on the research results of data analysis done by using the Pearson correlation technique (2 taled), showed no significant relationship assertive behavior in students PGPAUD force in 2011 and 2012 that is known of the value of      r obtained at -0.87 with significance 0,629 > 0.05 (p> 0.05).  From these results, it can be said that overall from the calculation of statistical tests performed concluded that there was no difference in the level of the student asertifitas PGPAUD of 2011 and 2012 years,  t count (1.816) <t table (2.04), so that Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted. Abstract

Efikasi-diri akademik merupakan keyakinan-diri dan pengharapan terhadap hasil pada tugas-tugas khusus dalam bidang akademik. Individu yang mempunyai efikasi-diri akademik tinggi lebih memungkinkan untuk berpartisipasi dan berhasil dalam tugas-tugas akademik. Efikasi-diri akademik (khususnya yang rendah) dapat ditingkatkan melalui bantuan konseling modifikasi-kognitif perilaku (MKP) dengan memanfaatkan teknik pemodelan. Teknik ini menurut Bandura merupakan bentuk induksi yang dapat meningkatkan efikasi-diri akademik. Kata Kunci: Efikasi-diri akademik, pemodelan. Abstract: Academic self-efficacy is efficacy-belief and outcome expectations about the results of the specific tasks in the academic field. Individual who have high academic self-efficacy are more likely to participate and succeed in academic tasks. Academic self-efficacy (particularly low) can be improved through the help of cognitif-behavioral modification (CBM) counseling by making use of modeling techniques. This technique is a form of induction according to Bandura can increase academic self-efficacy. Key Word: academic self-efficacy, modeling

Abstract

The duties and obligations of teachers in addition to educate as well as researchers, the research attempted amending the learning. One of the forms was to improve the competence in conducting research was by means of Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). This activity aimed to improve the competence of teacher in creating classroom action research, expectedly being able to improve the quality of learning process for teachers in the classroom, and improve student learning outcomes eventually. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 23 Pontianak on September until December 2012. The subject of research was the teachers of SMP Negeri 23 about 27 people. This research was carried out using school action research design, designed through 3 cycles, each cycle through these steps: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The competence of teacher in using classroom action research in cycle I is 38,82% in low categories. The competence of teachers in using classroom action research in cycle II is 78,33% in very high category. It was concluded that the competence of SMP Negeri 23 Pontianak in  classroom action research from cycle I to cycle II increase of 39,51%. From 27 teachers in SMP Negeri 23 Pontianak, who finished doing classroom action research to the number of 14 people. The number of teachers who did not conduct classroom action research to the number of 4 people. There were 2 teachers who could only follow 1 section. As many as 7 teachers could follow more than 2 times but they did not finish to make reports. At the beginning state before following the MGMP in SMP Negeri 23 Pontianak there were 2 teachers had ever done research and after following the MGMP there were 14 teachers who finished doing the classroom action research. There was raising in number of teachers who had the competency to do classroom action research as many as 12 people. It is concluded that once made MGMP at SMP Negeri 23 Pontianak is increasing the competence of teachers in making classroom research action as many as 12 people.   Kata kunci: kompetensi membuat PTK

Abstract

This research aims to know students’ response about learning process using learning cycle 5E model assisted with multimedia on colloid matter. Pre-experiment method with one-shot case study design was used regarding to this. There are 79 students of SMAN 7 Pontianak who involved in this research. indirect communication techniques was used to collect data. Based on the research is obtained very good student response to learning using the 5E learning cycle model of multimedia-assisted colloid matter. The information that is obtained from this research is a very good response of students to learning using the 5E learning cycle model of multimedia-assisted colloid matter. Keywords: learning cycle 5E model, multimedia, students’ response, colloid. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E berbantuan multimedia pada materi koloid. Untuk menjawab permasalahan digunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study. Sebanyak 79 siswa SMAN 7 Pontianak terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan komunikasi tak langsung.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa respon siswasangat baik terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E berbantuan multimedia pada materi koloid. Kata-kata kunci:Model siklus belajar 5E, multimedia, respon siswa, koloid.

Abdulah.2011.The improvement of Contextual Teaching and Learning Application  through Task and Model Strategy as the Sustainable Academic Supervision The study is based on the weakneses of Bahasa Indonesia teacher  of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang in appliying  of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach on Bahasa Indoneaia subject. The CTL approach is intended to make the atmosphere of learning teaching proses enjoyable for the students. The issues of is study is how well  the plan, the action and the evaluation conducted to improve the Contextual Teaching and Learning application through Task and Model Strategy as the sustainable of Academic Supervision of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang. Academic Supervision of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang. Academic Year 2010-2011. The study designed is the school Action Reaseach, by descriptive mettod and qualitative  study form. The students and  a teacher are data source, the data shows in this study as the competence of the teacher to make plan, do the action and the students activities in the learning teaching process. The data collecting is observation sheet and interview and teacher performance evaluation in which the seven components of CTL The result of the study shows that the applaying of CTL approach through Task and Model Strategy as the sustainable Academic Supervision on guru Bahasa Indonesia of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang Kabupaten Kubu Raya Academic Year 2010-2011 improve the teachers competence in planning action and action and the students result in learning effectively.   Keyword: CTL,approach, task and model, academic supervision

Abstract

Pendidikan diartikan sebagai proses mengubah sikap dan tata laku seseorang atau kelompok orang dalam usaha mendewasakan manusia melalui upaya pengajaran dan pelatihan. Karakter diartikan sebagai “Cara berpikir dan berperilaku yang khas tiap individu untuk hidup dan bekerja sama, baik dalam lingkup keluarga, masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara” (Samani dan Hariyanto, 2013: 41). “Kesehatan mental, karakter luhur atau karakter yang mulia sangat penting bagi perkembangan peradaban dan kekarakter suatu bangsa, di samping kecerdasan berpikir dan kemampuan intelektual. Nabi Muhammad Swa. diturunkan Tuhan untuk memperbaiki akhlak kaum Quraish Mekkah yang tidak beradap/jahiliyah, begitu juga Nabi Isa AS diturunkan sebagai gembala umatnya yang sesat, Sidarta Gautama, Tau Tse, rupanya Tuhan masih sayang pada manusia sehingga mengutus berbagai orang suci penuntun umat manusia pada kaumnya” (Fathurrohman, dkk., 2013:14).  Pendidikan karakter yang kita kenal mencakup 9 pilar pendidikan karakter yaitu: 1) cinta Tuhan dan alam semesta, 2) tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan dan kemandirian, 3) kejujuran, 4) hormat dan santun, 5) kasih sayang, kepedulian dan kerja sama, 6) percaya diri, kreatif, kerja keras, pantang menyerah, 7) keadilan dan kepemimpinan, 8) baik dan rendah hati, 9) toleransi, cinta damai, dan persatuan. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Karakter, Panggil Aku Kartini Saja Abstract: Education is defined as the process of changing attitudes and behaviour  of  a person or group of people in human mature  through teaching and training. Character is defined as "a way of thinking and behaving that is typical of each individual to live and work together in the family, community, nation, and the state" (Samani and Hariyanto, 2013: 41). "Mental health,  noble character,  intelligence thought and intellectual capabilities is very important for the development of civilization and character of  a nation. Prophet Muhammad SAW  was revealed by God to edify the uncivilized/ignorant Quraysh of Mecca, as did by Prophet Isa AS is derived as a shepherd his flock astray. God also sent  Sidarta Gautama and Tau Tse to guide human being as the way  to love mankind."(Fathurrohman, et al., 2013: 14).  Character education includes nine pillars namely: 1) the love of God and the universe, 2) responsibility, discipline and independence, 3) honesty, 4) respect and courtesy, 5) compassion, care and cooperation, 6 ) confident, creative, work hard, never give up, 7) justice and leadership, 8) kind and humble, 9) tolerance, love peace, and unity.Keywords: Education, Character, Panggil Aku Kartini Saja.
