Abstract

This research was conducted in polybags with Andisol soil type in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Winaya Mukti, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency from June to July 2021. The purpose of this study was to see how the best of hotel food waste BSF frass affected the growth and yield of pakcoy (B. rapa L.). The research utilized a Randomized Block Design with six treatments: A = 0 ton.ha-1 (without BSF frass/control), B= 3 ton.ha-1 cow dung compost, C =1,5 ton.ha-1 BSF frass, D = 3 ton.ha-1 BSF frass, E = 4.5 ton.ha-1 BSF frass, and F = 6 ton.ha-1 BSF frass, all of which are repeated four times.The use of hotel waste BSF frass had a substantial impact on plant height, leaf number, root volume, canopy fresh weight, root fresh weight, canopy dry weight, and root dry weight, according to the findings. Treatment F (6 ton.ha-1) had the best results in terms of plant height, number of leaves, root volume, crown fresh weight, root fresh weight, and canopy dry weight, according to the study's findings. Treatment E (4.5 tons.ha-1) produced the best results in terms of root dry weight.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to study the effect of cowurine concentration on the growth and yield of caisim (Brassica juncea L). The research was conducted in June - August 2020 in Sagalaherang Kaler Village, Sagalaherang District, Subang Regency. The experimental design used was a simple randomized block design (RBD) with 6 treatments and repeated 4 times. These treatments were: A (without cow urine), B (10 ml L-1), C (20 ml L-1), D (30 ml L-1), E (40 ml L- 1) and F (50 ml L-1). The results showed that the concentration of cow urine had an effect on the number of leaves at the age of 40 DAS and 45 DAS. Cow urine concentration of 20 ml L-1 gave the best results on the number of leaves in the Tosakan variety Caisim plant.

Abstract

Conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Winaya Mukti University, Tanjungsari, Sumedang, which is located at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level, this study aims to find out how various concentrations of KNO3 and coconut water affect the dormancy breaking of robusta coffee seed germination in nurseries. The experiment started in June 2021 and lasted until August 2021. This experiment used a randomized group factorial pattern (RBD) repeated twice. The first factor in the experiment was the concentration of KNO3 (K) with four levels, namely k0 = 0%, k1 = 0.5%, k2 = 1%, and k3 = 1.5%. The second factor is the concentration of coconut water (P) with four levels, namely p0 = 0%, p1 = 30%, p2 = 60%, and p3 = 90%. The results showed that treatment with KNO3 and coconut water had an impact on germination at 36 HST. The independent effect showed a significant effect on germination at 39 HST, seedling height at 56 HST, wet weight and dry weight at 56 HST. In contrast, the independent effect showed no significant effect on germination at 42 HST, growth rate at 35 to 56 HST, normal sprouts at 56 HST.

Abstract

An experiment was carried out in Margasari Village, Dawuan District, Subang Regency, from July 2020 to November 2020. The purpose of this study was to study the efficacy of various media of the antagonist agent Paenibacillus polymyxa in controlling Bacterial Leaf Blight in rice plants and to find the most effective and efficient media. to control Bacterial Leaf Blight in rice plants. The method used in this study was an experiment through field experiments, with a simple randomized block design consisting of six treatments and four replications. The experimental treatments consisted of: A (Sugar Potato Extract), B (Sweet Potato Extract), C (Sugar Cassava Extract), D (Soybean Extract), E (Sugar Rice Wash Water) and F (Control). The experimental results show that: (1) All the Paenibacillus polymyxa antagonist agent media in this experiment were effective in suppressing the intensity of the attack of Bacterial Leaf Blight (2) The more effective Paenibacillus polymyxa antagonist agent medium was treatment A (Sugar Potato Extract) which was able to suppress the intensity. attack was lower than the other treatments, so it had the most number of productive tillers and produced the highest average productivity of 8.08 tons ha-1.

Abstract

Field experiments were carried out in Nangklong village, Maripari village, Cibatu sub district, Garut district with an altitude of 764 m above sea level from September 2020 to November 2020. The purpose of this experiment was to study the growth and yield of several varieties of cauliflower (brasica olercea var. bathysl.) in the middle plains. The experiment was conducted using a randomized block design with 5 replications. The treatments consisted of: A (Bima 45), B (Kaila), C (PM 126), D (Provita) and E (Aquina). The experimental results showed that the growth and yield of several varieties of cauliflower were different in the middle plains. The Bima 45 variety showed higher growth and yield of cauliflower compared to other varieties in the middle plains. The Bima 45 variety produced a cabbage weight of 20.68 kg plot1 or equivalent to 40.17 tons ha1.
