Abstract

Todoy, the compailion in htsiness is getting hrder and horder, especially in the global crisis. A compofiy is rct only required to be effrcient, htt also to be able to be competitively acellent. The compory whbh is competitively qcellent is supposed a be able to win the competition.  Competitive qcellence may be achieved if the company does not only rely on its own tmiqueness, but also sorne uniqueness simultqteously owned fu that comporry. One of the company's tmiqueness, which can be used to rerchcompetitive ucellence, is brand image. Brand imoge is the compilation of association perceived by a anstomer towards a certain brand (Simarnora, 2004). Brand image consists of 3 dilnensions, i.e. 1) corporation image, 2) user image, and 3) product image. The resemch obiect was Starbucks Coffeeat Ambarubno Plaza Yogtakmta. This research aimed at testing the in/luence of corporation image, user image, ond pro&tct irnage on the cTtstomer loyalty of Starbucks Coffee.The sample was 100 respondents who have visited and bouglrt the products offered by Storbucl* Coffee in Yogtakarta. The Double Linear Regression analysis was employed to dnswer the reseorch obiectives. The research result uplained that there were positive atd significant influences between corporation image and pro&tct image on the c'ustorner loyalty of Snrbucb Coffee. Abstract

The aim of th* stufu was to recognize the faaors it{luencing theperfonnances of raailers.rThosefactors were age, mwital status, mtmber of dependan*, level of efucation, working hours, irwentory level, location, ond number of employees. The performwtces of the venfurs were meoswed byusing margin profit. The data were obtained by doing suruey questionnaires completed by street vendors. Smtples were obtained through mahod probability sompling with simple rutdom sornpling teclmique. The data were, then, analyzed byusing multiple regression analysis. The result of this study illustrated that the age, the marital status, the numberof dependan*, the educational level, the working hours, the retailers *perience before being independent, their uperience undq c-urrent position, the stock level, and the location simultowously as awhole, had significant andpositive irfluence on the mogin prafit. Hawever; partialb the individual variables that influenced the mwgin profit of the vendors were the age, the marital status, the iwentory level, and the number of employees.Keywords : Informal s ector, street vmdors, p*formances.

Abstract

Small Medium Enterprises (sl"frg always complain about the rigidity of entrance (accessibility) of *ternal funds especially from banking. Economics rqtort of Indonesia done by the Indonesia Bonk noted thot the LDR ratio of the commercial banb in the yem of 2007 showed that the number was for under 100%, i.e. 69.2%o, while the rotio of LDR of BPRwas more than t00ok, i.e. 109.73%. Thisfact aplained that the publicfund mustered by the commercial bank sfill remained to be able to be channeled in credit, while BpR has gone beyondfunds which ought to be channeled in theform of credit. This indiccted that itfailed in allocation of credit. Therefore, this research, which was based on critical revievrt of literature and idea, indicoted that the business scale determined the pattem of the relationship of microfinance otd thefunction of intermediation *periences failed in fficiently *ecuting allocation of credit.  Therefore, constructing a relatiowhip between the commercial bank and mierofinance and sMEs was badly needed, not to irwite a.rymmetries ofinformafion but to effrcient$t allocate the credit.Keywords: Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), allocation of credit, ratio of LDR

Abstract

This research aimed at understanding the influence of, the stock bryback on the performances of finance ond mwket of PT Babie sumatera plontatiorc.  This research used the quarterly finance data of the company abtained from the official website of the Indonesia stock hchange @EI) andfrom the daily stock price retriarcdfrom Yahoo Finance. The research periods were the third quffiter of 20A8, thefowth quwtu of 2008, andthefirst quoter of 2009. The ratio analysis result using trend concluded that A the time of doins the buyback, the finance performonce declined because of the *tng if the ratio of the debt and thefalli4g of the ratio of the liquidity. afier uecatiig uryback, the eompany liquidity ratio decreased and the debt ratio increasecl,whereas the ratio of RoA, RoE, and EPS was getting better because of the efrciency of the company. The mtket performance, whichwas anallzed based on the 6)erage of the stock price quarterly, deereased by the time of buyback"whereas arter doing the buybacli, the paform(mce was getting better aithough the *ternalfactors of the comp@ry was stronger in supporting the stockpriie.Keywords: Stock buybac\ financial ratio, performorce of finance,performance ofmmket.
