Abstract

This study delves into the diverse landscape of startup financing in India, examining the sources of funds and emerging approaches to attracting capital resources. Through an analysis of general statistics, including the types of startups, gender distribution of founders, and funding sources, the study provides insights into the dynamics of the startup ecosystem. The findings reveal that a significant portion of startups rely on internal sources such as family and friends, personal savings, and bootstrapping, while external sources like angel investors, venture capitalists, and government grants also play a crucial role. Additionally, the study explores various financing options available to startups at different stages of their lifecycle, including debt financing, commercial lenders, government programs, and leasing arrangements. By shedding light on these financing avenues, the study aims to inform entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers about the evolving landscape of startup finance and facilitate informed decision-making.

Abstract

The study's main focus was on how tax audits affected tax compliance in the Banganga Municipality with particular goals in mind. Numerous statistical tools, including the mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, coefficient of correlation, and ANOVA test, were used to achieve these goals. There is a significant correlation between desk audit, field audit, back duty audit, registration audit, and tax compliance. It has been discovered that greater levels of desk audit, field audit, back duty audit, and registration audit performance enhance factors related to tax compliance. Factors have been investigated in this paper. Desk, field, back duty, and registration audits were among the independent variables; tax compliance was the dependent variable.

Abstract

Understanding the impact of money supply and inflation on Nepal's economic development is the main objective of the current study. This work aims to give empirical backing to the current debate over money supply, inflation, and the relationship between these factors and economic growth. More research has been done recently on the relationship between money supply and economic growth than on any other topic in the field of monetary economics. A price increase that, over time, results in a decline in buying power is known as inflation. This study looks at how inflation and the money supply affected economic development between 1974–1975 and 2022–2023. When establishing if there is long-term co-integration among variables when the bound test has been applied, the ARDL co-integration approach is employed in the study to ascertain the link between the variables. GDP is the dependent variable, and the independent variables are broad money (M2) and consumer price inflation (CPI), respectively. The notion that inflation is always a monetary event needs to be revisited and reevaluated, particularly in light of the distinct dynamics of inflation in developing economies. The research indicates a positive correlation between CPI and economic growth. The data indicates that CPI has a significant influence on economic growth in emerging nations like Nepal.

Abstract

Economic development that only focuses on growth often has negative impacts, encouraging the emergence of the concept of sustainable development that balances economic, environmental, and social aspects. This concept, supported by the United Nations and various parties, is the basis for sustainable development goals until 2030, covering human, social economic, and environmental development. Sustainability, introduced in 1987, integrates environmental, social, and economic aspects or the triple bottom line in business standards and practices. The development of sustainable banking is still in its infancy, with some banks starting to adopt environmental and social policies. This research examines risk policies to support sustainable development in commercial banking through an analysis of 50 articles. The results show that economic and social efficiency, stability, and environmental contribution are important in assessing bank sustainability. Internal factors such as risk management and financial health, as well as external factors such as regulations and macroeconomic conditions are very influential.
