Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and empirically prove the effect of dividend policy, liquidity, profitability and firm size on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with the research period 2017-2019. The sampling method of this research is purposive sampling with a total sample of 73 data obtained from the financial statements of manufacturing companies published by the IDX official website. Data processing in this study was assisted by the SPSS version 25.0 program using the multiple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that partially dividend policy, profitability and firm size had a positive and significant effect on firm value, while liquidity had a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. The results also show that simultaneously dividend policy, liquidity, profitability and firm size have a significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of capital structure, profitability, firm size, growth, and liquidity on the firm value of consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2017-2019 period. The sample used in this study was obtained using purposive sampling, consisting of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the stock exchange in 2017-2019. The data obtained for this study were processed using eviews9. The results showed that capital structure had a significant effect on firm value, profitability, firm size, growth and liquidity had no effect on firm value.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of transfer pricing, sales growth, and leverage towards tax avoidance. This research used secondary data that were obtained from IDX official website www.idx.co.id or the company’s official websites. The population of this research is all manufacturer companies listed on the IDX for the period of 2015-2020. The sample size of this research is 100 data. The data were processed by using Microsoft Excel dan IBM SPSS Statistic with multiple linear regression analysis method. This research has found that transfer pricing and sales growth give positive effects towards tax avoidance. In the other hand, leverage has a negative effect towards tax avoidance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of intangible assets in the form of research and development, advertisement, and human capital on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018-2020. The sample was selected by purposive sampling method and the valid data were 90 companies. The data processing technique used multiple regression analysis assisted by Microsoft Excel 2010 and EViews 12 Student Version Lite. The results of this study indicate that intangible assets in the form of research and development, advertisement, and human capital as well as control variables of company size and company age simultaneously or jointly have a significant effect on the dependent variable of firm value. The implication of this research is the need to increase the role of intangible assets that will increase the value of the company and attract investors to invest.

Abstract

The research was conducted to find out how leverage and sales growth play a role in financial distress, in the manufacturing industry listed on the IDX during the 2015-2019 period. The sample was obtained using certain criteria by purposive sampling using statistical software assistance in the form of SPSS version 21 with logistic regression analysis. Research proves that Debt asset to ratio (DAR) is able to have a significant effect on financial distress, Sales growth (SG) does not have a significant effect on financial distress. The moderating variable used is profitability, profitability proxied by return on assets (ROA) is able to significantly weaken the effect of leverage on the interest coverage ratio (ICR) and profitability is able to significantly weaken the relationship between sales growth and interest coverage ratio (ICR). The implications of this research are the need to increase the effectiveness of the company's management role in taking actions that can affect financial conditions in preventing financial difficulties.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of dividend policy and leverage with profitability as moderating variable on firm value. The final sample used in this study amounted to 38 manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, obtained by purposive sampling method. The data that has been collected by Microsoft Excel 2019 software and then processed using EViews 12 software. The results show that the variable of dividend policy has no effect on firm value. Meanwhile, leverage has a significant positive effect on firm value. And for the profitability as moderating variable, profitability isn’t able to moderate the influence between dividend policy and leverage on firm value variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of profitability, leverage and firm size on tax avoidance. This research uses secondary data for manufacturing companies obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2020. This study used a descriptive research design and the sample data was selected using purposive sampling method. There are 210 data from 70 companies in the manufacturing sector. The data is processed using the EViews 12 SV application. The results of this study that profitability has a negative and insignificant effect on Tax Avoidance, Leverage has a positive and significant effect on Tax Avoidance and Firm Size has a positive and insignificant effect on Tax Avoidance.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of structure asset, firm size, dividend policy, and profitability on the firm debt in manufacturing companies on the IDX. The technique sampling used was purposive sampling. The company data in the study were 30 companies. This study uses secondary data that is processed using Eviews version 12. The F test show that structure asset, firm size, dividend policy, and profitability have a significant effect on debt policy. The t test show that profitability has a positive significant effect on debt policy, structure asset has a negative insignificant effect on debt policy. Firm size and dividend policy have a positive insignificant effect on debt policy. The implication of this study is to provide consideration in making decisions for companies related to factors that affect debt policy.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of free cash flow, firm size, current ratio, and return on equity to Dividend Policy on consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2017-2020. The sample used in this study were 20 companies using purposive sampling technique. Valid data is as much as 80 data. This study performs data processing using the Eviews for Windows version 12 program and the data collection process using Microsoft Excel 2010. The results of the analysis show that the free cash flow, current ratio and return on equity variabels have a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, while the firm size variabel does not effect on dividend policy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the tax obligations of income tax article 21, article 25, and article 4 paragraph 2 at PT ABC in 2020. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews and documentation. The type of research used is a case study using quantitative methods. The results of this study indicate that PT ABC has carried out tax obligations such as reporting, paying, and withholding income tax article 21, article 25, and article 4 paragraph 2 in 2020 in full compliance with the tax provisions of Law Number 36 of 2008.
