Abstract

Introduction : Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a terminal disease that causes various kinds of clinical manifestations that are very disturbing to the sufferer, such as dyspnea, and dyspnea in CHF patients can cause a sleep disorder known as Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB). The aim of  this study was to determine the effect of providing prayer guidance on the sleep quality of CHF patients with dyspnea. Methods : Pre-post test research approach with control group designe. The sampling method used accidental sampling for 5 months, the number of respondents in the intervention group was 10 and the control group was also 10 respondents, the analysis used Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney. Results : The results showed that 30% of respondents' sleep quality was in the very poor category, and showed no significant difference between sleep quality before and after prayer guidance (p-value: 0.350). Conclusion : the study was that there was no effect of providing prayer guidance on the sleep quality of CHF patients with dyspnea. Suggestions for this research is to continue the research by increasing the number of respondents.

Abstract

Introduction : Labor and birth are normal physiological events. First stage of labor (opening stage) begins when there are regular contractions and increases until complete dilatation. One of the problems that arise in childbirth is pain. So, because of these conditions, it is necessary to intervene to control pain by giving birth ball exercise therapy. For the application of intranatal care for mothers with the first stage at the Kayamanya Public Health Center. The measuring instrument used to measure pain is the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Method : Research Method That is using descriptive method with case study approach. Result : The results showed that birth ball exercise can control labor in first stage intranatal care mothers. The application of birth ball exercise can control labor pain in 1st stage of intranatal nursing care. Conculsion : It is expected that patients can perform birth exercises independently according to what has been taught by researchers..

Abstract

Introduction : Schizophrenia is a major disorder in thought processes and disharmony between thought processes, affect and emotions. Schizophrenia has the main symptom of decreased sensory perception, namely hallucinations. Hallucinations consist of several kinds, one of which is auditory hallucinations. Auditory hallucinations are hearing voices or complete conversations between two or more people in which the client is asked to do something. The purpose of this study was to apply psychoreligious dhikr therapy to the control of hallucinations in the care of patients with auditory hallucinations at Madani Hospital Palu. Research method: Descriptive research with a case study approach. Results: Respondents were able to control hallucinations by rebuking hallucinations, conversing with other people, performing scheduled activities especially psychoreligious therapy and teaching patients to take medication correctly independently, when evaluating the patient said he could control hallucinations independently. Conclusion: The application of dhikr psychoreligious therapy can control hallucinations in hallucinating patients at Madani Hospital Palu.

Abstract

Introduction : Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a condition in which the lungs experience obstruction that is not fully reversible. One of the independent nursing interventions in dealing with decreased is the diaphragmatic breathing exersice relaxation technique. This technique is a non-pharmacological therapy that can improve abdominal movement by reducing respiratory muscle activity. The purpose of the study was to determine the application of relaxation diaphragmatic breathing to dyspnea in the nursing care of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Poso Hospital. Research methods: descriptive with a case study approach. Results: obtained complaints of shotness of breath, breathing 27x/m, pulse 102x/m, blood pressure 130/90 mmHg with a diagnosis of ineffective breathing pattern, ineffective airway clearance and activity intolerance. Ventilation support interventions, airway management, and activity therapy. Implementation was carried out for 5 days. Evaluation after the implementation of the implementation of Diaphragmatic Breathing Exersice Relaxation there is change in Dyspnea in Mrs.B. Conclusion the application of Diaphragmatic Breathing Exersice Relaxation can overcome the problem of Dyspnea. Suggestion: are expected to provide nursing interventions to overcome existing nursing problems in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients with dyspnea cases.

Abstract

Background: Mental disorders are psychological or behavioral disorders that occur in a person, generally associated with affective, behavioral, cognitive and perceptual disorders. Schizophrenic patients have symptoms including thought process disorders, affective and emotional disorders, volitional disorders, psychomotor disorders and secondary symptoms in the form of delusions and hallucinations. Hallucinations are one of the symptoms of mental disorders where the client experiences changes in sensory perception, feels false sensations in the form of sound, sight, taste, touch or smell. The client feels a stimulus that is not actually there. Schizophrenia is a major disorder in thought processes and disharmony between thought processes, affect and emotions. Schizophrenia has the main symptom of decreased sensory perception, namely hallucinations. Destination : To apply Art Therapy to the Nursing Care of Patients with Auditory Hallucinations at Madani Hospital Palu. Research methods : Descriptive Research with Case Study approach. Measuring instrument : The measuring instrument used to relieve auditory hallucinations is using an observation sheet. Research result : It was found that the patient's complaint during the assessment was that the patient looked restless, often paced back and forth the patient said he heard whispering sounds like he wanted to scold people, the patient said the voice came when the patient was alone and before going to sleep. with nursing diagnoses Auditory hallucinations. The nursing intervention carried out a strategy for implementing auditory hallucinations, namely training how to rebuke, converse, doing activities, one of which was Art Therapy, taking medication regularly. Suggestion :Conclusion: The application of Art Therapy can control hallucinations at Madani Hospital Palu. Suggestion : It is hoped that nurses can apply Art Therapy to patients who experience hallucinations.
