Abstract

Abstract: Reading and writing in Japanese isn't easy for foreigners especially Indonesian because of its script that were very different from Indonesian that uses latin script. It is said that the Japanese writing system is one of the most complex writing system in the world. Japanese language uses mixed of three script, the hiragana, katakana, and the chinese characters. We don't have a choice what script we wanted to use because each script has their own uses so even in a simple sentence, that three script could appear together. Because of that, in order to be able to read and learn Japanese language, one should learn the three of Japanese script.While Japanese learn these script at school, Indonesian should be helped by good teaching materials and peripherals. One of the peripherals that could aid the Indonesian to learn the script effectively is the touch screen smartphone. Smartphone as an aid peripheral has a benefit because it's cheap, fast, and easy to use. It has a touchscreen to aid the user how to write the script because the way to write the script matters.The evaluation showed that this application could provide convenience and greater good to aid Indonesian to learn the three Japanese scripts.

Abstract

PT. Unichem Candi Indonesia is manufacturing company that produce chemical materials products. So far, the order that received by PT. Unichem Candi Indonesia was processed only based by order priority that come first without looking the processing time, work time limit, time length to complete the entire order, and waiting time between completed process until the next operation begins. This production method will cause a problem when the numbers of the orders increased because can cause longer production time and causing delay in the production as well as depletion of orders.The production process in PT. Unichem Candi Indonesia needs a right method of production and appropriate solutions in order to minimize the occurring problem Therefore, the application is made that can provide an optimal model of production in order to reach a company target.The efforts to overcome that problem is to provide analysis production queue solutions based by 4 queue methods, that are first come first serve, short processing time, long processing time, and early due date.From this 4 queue methods, the system will choose in accordance with parameters of which desired, and PT. Unichem Candi Indonesia could have an optimal production process.Keywords : Priority Rules, Production Schedulling

Abstract

Suzuki Motor Sales (SMS)Undaan is an authorized dealers and workshop center in the area of Surabaya, which sells motorbike with DOHC engine technology that currently becomes most in demand in society. However, the present of these technologies raise new challenge for many mechanics that are less able to cope with the disfunctional engine of the motorbikes. Analysis and design of an expert system might be able to equip the mechanics in handling the DOHC engine failure. Our approach shows that the expert system can identify problems accurately by using the certainty factors method. This application is expected to be able to overcome the mechanics problem in handling the DOHC motorbike engine. And the results obtained from the research that has been done is very helpful for any problems of the motor DOHC engine with 100 % accuracy rate calculations.

Abstract

Malioboro Kartini Surabaya Restaurant process experienced problem in a matter of service time which is slow because the process of finding an empty table done by direct combing each room, order recorded in three sheets to be given to the checker, bartender and  customer directly, and also reservation list is not arranged well so the waitress have difficulty in obtaining information on the table-booking. Restaurant need a system to help waitress in addressing difficulties on serving  customer. Therefore made Android Mobile Based Restaurant Service Application. Waitress operating Android tablet to show each room table map. Waitress marking a table to do the process of recording the order menu. Order list will automatically appear on checker desktop application to be controlled. After customer pay the bill, red mark on table will disappear. Stored reservation data will automatically appear on table map with purple mark. Serving application can help waitress to provide customer an empty table information immediately, sending order list automatically to checker, showing information about reserved table so waithress can immediately prepared the table

Abstract

Cooperative Employees PT. Mega Utama Indah  is a business entity in the form of savings and credit cooperatives whose members are employees of PT. Mega Utama Indah. The main constraints faced by the Cooperative Employees PT. Main Mega Indah now is the process of savings is still done manually as the process of loan application, loan approval and repayment of the loan installments. All these processes are still done by recording into a book.These constraints resulted members have to wait to find out whether its proposed loan and the company experienced difficulty in obtaining information and reports - reports required by the cooperative, the required savings and loan applications which includes member registration, loan applications, loan approvals and repayment of the loan installments.Based on trials that have been done, the application can generate reports related to the savings and loan in accordance with the needs of cooperatives, for example, statements about the expected revenues loans, loan report approved or rejected, reports about employees who pay the installments of this month and others reports required cooperative.

Abstract

PT. Mega Utama Indah is a company engaged in the trading and processing of raw wood into finished wood. The main obstacle faced by PT. Mega Utama Indah now is recording the production process are still done manually such as recording the use of raw materials and auxiliary materials, the use of human labor, the use of the machine, and the use of other costs. All recording is still done by recording into a book.These constraints resulted in companies experiencing difficulties in terms of search data, perform scheduling of engine maintenance, and the difficulty in obtaining information and reports required by the leadership in making decisions for the company, the required application records of production which includes data recording of raw materials, auxiliary materials , human labor, machinery, and other costs.Based on research that has been done, the application can generate reports, such reports raw material usage per order or per month, reports the use of adjuvant per order or per month, reports the use of labor per order or per month, reports the use of machines per order or per month, and report usage fee per order or per month that the company needs to search the data, perform machine maintenance scheduling, and obtain the required information by the leadership in making decisions for the company.

Abstract

PT. Geo Given Visi Mandiri (PT. GGVM) is an innovative company that is engaged in the field of human resources services. PT. GGVM offer the provision of manpower to a sales force of the company. PT. GGVM has a vision to be the best as providers of employment services company to provide services and qualified human resources to the client.Training is one of the means to improve the competence of the workforce. At the PT. Geo Given Visi Mandiri, the training has not run optimally because the existing training planning is done without any training needs analysis in advance. This can result in a mismatch between the needs of competence in performing a job with competence possessed by today's workforce.Based on the results of the test and evaluation of training needs analysis application, indicating that the application can help PT. Geo Given Visi Mandiri in terms of manpower assessment, planning training needs, and provide reports in accordance with the company's needs.

Abstract

Abstract : PT. Surapita Unitrans constitute a service company that handles process Kawasaki motorcycle. In handling process motorcycle vehicle maintenance there are some problems that occur in the company, namely the customer can't information scedule queue service, no booking service for customers who have a solid rushing, there is no information available for customer, and in preparing reports to the section of After Sale still using MS Office.From the above problems, then be made a system design aplication administration service motorcycle in PT. Surapita Unitrans which can be set queue service customer automatically by using method Shortest Job First, there is booking service system available for customer, and system can provide information service form history service available for customer, and there is a reporting system for the division after sale.Based on trial results application system administration services made This application can help companies in addressing the queue automatically, generating system booking services for customer, produce history service so that customers can obtain the required information service, and there is reporting period for division After Sale.

Abstract

POSYANDU was built to pay attention to the health of mothers and children in some areas of the village. POSYANDU every month give the inspection report to the PUSKESMAS to be reported to the Health Office of Surabaya. Due to the large number of POSYANDU and limitations of midwives then the midwife to handle many Posyandu each month.Making the POSYANDU examination report that has been happening is still done manually because it has no information system. Because one midwife to handle some of the POSYANDU and the midwife often experienced delays in preparing reports and often put off. Due to delays in reporting, it can inhibit the Head of Puskesmas in monitoring maternal and child health in the region supervised POSYANDU and this also resulted in delays in the distribution of health centers report to the health office. The slower the reporting received then the slower Puskesmas monitoring and evaluation of the health of infants and pregnant women. Based on this problem, then the solution is made is to design and build a web-based integrated health information systems that can facilitate report generation and distribution of reports and facilitate the health office in monitoring the results of POSYANDU report.Results from the trial showed that this information system can provide convenience in the process of manufacture and distribution of reports and monitoring the health of children and pregnant women in the area of Surabaya.

Abstract

Dinas Perdagangan dan Perindustrian (Disperdagin) Kota Surabaya memiliki permasalahan dalam proses pengolahan data persebaran bidang usaha perdagangan karena aplikasi Surabaya Single Windows (SSW) hanya bisa dipergunakan untuk melakukan pendaftaran Surat Ijin Usaha Perdagangan (SIUP) baru, perpanjangan SIUP, dan perubahan SIUP serta masih menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel untuk melakukan proses pengolahan data. Selain itu, belum adanya sistem yang menginformasikan jumlah masing-masing jenis bidang usaha perdagangan, perkembangan jumlah modal usaha, serta belum tersedianya data persebaran bidang usaha perdagangan di tiap-tiap wilayah Kota Surabaya secara terperinci.Berdasarkan permasalahan ini maka, diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi persebaran dan potensi bidang usaha perdagangan pada Disperdagin Kota Surabaya,  agar persebaran bidang usaha perdagangan dan laporan mengenai bidang usaha perdagangan di Kota Surabaya lebih mudah terpantau, serta dapat membantu proses analisis potensi dan evaluasi bidang usaha perdagangan di Kota Surabaya.Dari hasil uji coba penelitian ini sudah dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pada Dinas Perdagangan dan Perindustrian Kota Surabaya dalam proses pendaftaran, penerbitan, perpanjangan, perubahan, pemantauan posisi dokumen pemohon, proses persetujuan pemohon SIUP, persebaran bidang usaha perdagangan, dan pembuatan laporan bidang usaha perdagangan yang berguna sebagai bahan analisis potensi bidang usaha perdagangan.
