Abstract

PT. Bhirawa Steel is one of the oldest and the most modern steel producer in Indonesia. Human resource divison of PT. Bhirawa Steel does performance appraisal  manually with calculator, so that often happens 10% counting error while giving score of assessment and difficulty in recapitulating. Based on the problemes, so the solution can be offered is a web application of performance appraisal in PT Bhirawa Steel. This application use graphic rate scale method, in which the description of appraisal  as measured by a scale that each has a point. In this case, used scale 1 until 4. The steps of planning system are block diagram, system flow, data flow diagram (DFD), entity relationship diagram (ERD), database structure and make a trial design. After doing trial, web application of performance appraisal can help a process of employee’s performance assessment accurately that previously were did manually. In addition, web application can help to determine a material of training for employees and give a overall report or report of each employee’s assesment, so can help human resource division to calculating assesment.

Abstract

Primasatya Husada Citra (PHC) Surabaya Hospital is a hospital owned by PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III. Existing problem in PHC Surabaya happen when training history data storage process not recorded well, that cause data redundancies until 5%. So Diklat didn’t know the employees that already have enough training, less training, or even never trained at all. Than not often if Diklat do uneven training until 2%-3% of their employees. Other impacs is when Diklat doing determination of employees training bond, Diklat can not filtering the prospective employee who already meet the administration’s criteria  in order to attend a employees training. The offered solution from all the problem is make a determination of employees training aplication with graphic rating scales method, which can sortering criterias data that needed by PHC Hospital. So the aplication can obtain list of candidate from the recomended employees that suitable by training need of PHC Hospital. The result from the research showed the aplication that already made for PHC Surabaya Hospital can help the selection process of training employees and produce training report for each employee along with report of whole training.Keywords: application, training determination, graphic rating scales.

Abstract

Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi or so-called LSP is an implementing agency of competency assessment and certification of competencies that have obtained a license from Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi. During this LSP Manajemen Wirausaha dan Produktivitas Merdeka activities such tasks manually. This means that all activities ranging from acc candidate registration, schedule a test, fill out the results, to provide certification is done unsystematically. As a result, the process of activity LSP Manajemen Wirausaha dan Produktivitas Merdeka was not doing systematically and integrated, so that the recorded data is not automatically linked to other sections, as well as related data acc not stored and arranged in neat. Related to the above problems, the solution can solve it is with in her application competency test there in can organize the data related to the implementation of the competency test, to facilitate the search of data, determining the schedule and assessor in charge of the implementation of the competency test and the test result data of competence so acc considered competent will get a certificate of competence. The process of application testing has produced results and suitability of hope, and fit for use. Based on testing that has been done, the applications have been successfully running the maintenance process participant data, recording schedules competency testing, record maintenance scheme/KUK, passing, scoring and reporting certificate examinees and the assessment results to the leadership.

Abstract

In the peak season and at the - time promo supermarkets give a compelling that the number of a dense customer shop in supermarkets. This means so long queues and the customer have to wait a queue to pay for. Customer only buy one thing would have to wait the long queues. The impact of the long queues make customer impatient in the queue , so that happening accruing the customer break to shop in supermarkets. The application of smart trolley with technology barcode a supermarket can help customer in the process of transactions queue independently and process fast payment without waiting for forever a long queue. And for payment or annulment not so buy the process happened in cash. With the application smart trolley it can provide solutions for supermarkets to overcome forever a long queue at the checkout payment. Based on the results and a pilot system, have shown that application smart trolley with technology barcode a supermarket can speed time service therefore time wait a queue become more short.

Abstract

The registration of new students at SDN Wadungasri, Waru Sidoarjo East Java today is still done manually, which means in the registration of new students are still using systems that are not computerized, which allows the student data errors and takes a long time. In consideration of safety, convenience and storage new student data required making of a new information system that will facilitate the processing of student data in an application of registration of new students as a means of data processing, data storage quickly and precisely.This information system will facilitate and provide convenience for both students and staff of the school of Administration in processing data quickly and prospective students with fewer errors, and transparatif (open) as needed and reliable. The methodology used in the making of this application in the form of observation, interviews and the use of literature. The software used as a tool is database SQL Server 2008 R2 Management Studio and Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2010. Average required hardware consists of client computers for students and a computer server for the user / division of Administration.The results of the registration application provides convenience in the process of registration of new students and can be done quickly, precisely with minimal errors and cost-effective, ie it only takes 2-3 minutes per person begin enrollment until the class division of the need to manually for 11-15 minutes per person. Also be saving paper use only 2-3 pieces of manually use as much as 8-9 sheets

Abstract

Based on data obtained from the Development and Application of Information Technology (PPTI) Institute Business and Information of Stikom Surabaya (Stikom Surabaya), 20% -30% of the students S1 Information Systems has a value under B for the course Programming Logic and Design. This proves that is an obstacle course students. Therefore, they invented Learning Application Programming Logic and Design to help the lecture on this subject. However, during implementation of the evaluation has not been done so that the acceptance of this application, developers and teachers do not know the effect of this application on the user's behavior.Measurement of user behavior of applications and Design Learning Logic Programming using 3 TAM (Technology Acceptance Model 3). This method is carried out to determine the factors that influence user behavior.               Based on the distribution of questionnaires to 126 students S1 Information System that follows the lecture Logic and Design Programming, which is then analyzed by SEM showed that the Interests Behavior (behavioral intention) direct and significant impact on User Behavior (use behavior) while the benefits utilities (perceived usefulness) and Ease of Use (perceived ease of use), and significant indirect effect on User Behavior (use behavior).

Abstract

Institute of business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya founded a Department named a student center has a duty to develop the human resources (HR), in line with the development of Student Affairs section Stikom Surabaya, making a Website i.e. kemahasiswaan.stikom.edu where this website was created with the aim to make it easier for students to obtain information about activities that can help students increase Softskill.In this research, conducted an analysis of the influence of the quality of Student Affairs website Stikom Surabaya against user satisfaction based on the perception of the end user that is using webqual 4.0. Data collection is done by giving a questionnaire online and offline. Furthermore the results of the questionnaire will be analyzed based on indicators of webqual. Results of questionnaire data and then do test the validity, reliability, test the assumption of Linear regression test as a condition.Based on this research resulted in the conclusion that the usability quality and the interaction quality is positive and significant effect against user satisfaction. While the information quality does not have a positive influence and significantly to the user satisfaction.

Abstract

LP3I is a non-formal educational institutions, LP3I Surabaya, which is the subsidiary of LP3I Jakarta. LP3I Surabaya was established in 1997 and located on the road Manyar Surabaya. LP3I Surabaya equivalent education Diploma II with a variety of majors. During this time, LP3I difficulty in recapitulation presence of students and lecturer as well as students academic grades. This is because the recapitulation is done one by one from lecturing activities report (LKP) and the attendance of lectures as much as 185 sheets. While recapitulation of students academic grades should be done by selecting one by one by the name of the student with the subjects that followed. Of the existing problems of administrative applications required courses that can help in the process of recapitulation of the presence of students and lecturer as well as students academic grades. Recapitulation of student attendance is used to determine the status of these students in exams, while the lecturers used to determine the presence of Wages (HR) faculty.Based on the results of trials that have been done, the application is successfully assist in the process of recapitulation. This journal discusses the outline of the administration application design lecture at the Institute of Education and Development (LP3I) Surabaya.

Abstract

Primasatya Husada Citra (PHC) Surabaya Hospital is a subsidiary from PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III. Existing problem in PHC Surabaya arise when assessing the performance of the employee. Approximately 15% of the assessment field are empty and other 15% are miscalculation. That were a sign that the evaluator does not take the assestment seriously and the evaluator just use a calculator to calculated the result of the assestment. That can cause a mistake on the assessment. Also, SDM is having a trouble to do the assestment over 800 employees of the Hospital and record the assessment. It takes very long time until the end of the assessment period still haven’t finish yet and the risk of making mistakes the assessment record is also big because the assessment still using a paper, SDM must record the assessment manually. The offered solution from all the problem is make a determination of employees performances appraisal aplication with graphic rating scales method, which can calculating the assessment correctly. The aplication can help the SDM to do performance appraisal according with period and record all assessment result precisely. Correctly performance assesment result can help the management to do the decision-making and make a correct treatment for the employee.

Abstract

PT. E-T-A Indonesia is a company that working in the area of manufacturing, which manufactures circuit breaker. There was a problem in PT. E-T-A Indonesia about measuring the effectiveness from TMC 1160 machine. The result from this condition is difficult to make the preventive maintenance who are used to achieve zero breakdowns. Another problem for company is in difficulties to early identify the waste / loss in order to achive zero loss which cause delayed on machine repairing. An application is offering to make a system which helping company for measurement the effectiveness by using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method for the operation of the machine by periodic. These create informations about effectiveness of engine performance and losses by OEE method.The results showed that application has been made to help company for giving measurement about the effectiveness of performance TMC 1160 machine and losses from TMC 1160 machine.Keywords : manufacturing, measurement of effectiveness, overall equipment effectiveness
