Abstract

Develop a study group at school is conducted manually and take a long times to compile the result. Moreover, the review of the group is done many times; therefore, it takes along times. Based for this reason it needs an automatic study group system. Genetic algoritm is an alternative in solving the problem, which serves as the brain to organize the study group. How to represent the problem into a chromosome is the primary key of this algorithm. Chromosome encoding process is using integer permutation. Chromosome length is determined by the number of students (male and female). The number of genes determined from the depth of static single snake formation (SSF depth). The method used is the elitism which used half of the population with the lowest fitness value and then will be eliminated. Cross over operator used is a single crossing point, by choosing the initial locus and subsequent locul will be exchanged with each other. By using the original data for each existing study program, this application will not has trouble in developing study group and of course has a far better performance compare to manual preparation of the study group.Keywords : Genetic algorithms, study group

Abstract

The academic quality standar in higher education is very important, likewise in faculty of information technology, University of Budi Luhur with a good academic quality, lecture system and eligible human resource, will produce quality graduates. Factors that play a rule in the process in academic quality standard in faculty of information technology, University of Budi Luhur include : grade selection to enter University of Budi Luhur, Grade Point Achievement (GPA=IPK), the study period active in student organization on campus, waiting time to get a first job conformity the study program with the work which is currently obtained. The factor which is most significant is the grade in entering faculty of information technology, University of Budi Luhur which is effecting significantly to GPA. Therefore, Dean and other managers of Faculty of Information Technology, University of Budi Luhur are necessary to maintain the initial selection to prospective student. And, the other factors have not effect significantly. This shows that learning process being carried out by faculty of information technology, University of Budi Luhur include curriculum and resources play an active role in producing quality graduates.Keywords : Quality standard, Academic Process, Quantitative Descriptive.

Abstract

There is a problem with the unavailability of information on grant management for supporting poor people in Jakarta. This information on grant should be in terms of information on location area, where the poor people will receive assistance, how much they need and the form of grant the poor people expected. Therefore, application of this information should be developed in order to support all application of the grant. The first important step is to develop a good modeling system which produces integrated application in order to avoid error in applying the system. The modeling system is using object oriented approach by using Unified Modeling Language (UML). This technique modeling system will be realized in the form of case study which is a system modeling for application of grant management for poor people in Jakarta. The result of this modeling system is only to get the database which further can be used for developing application software. Abstract

Technology is a medium that can be used to process and solve a problem more efficiently. With the increasing variety and complex of today’s human need, prove that technology is necessary for human life. One media that is currently widely used and very popular is the mobile phones that can meet the communication needs of the community at large. There are many application of mobile phones that are offered to users, and one of the most widely used by cell phone users is SMS (Short Message Service. There are many SMS technology that are widely used in implementing many application, based on SMS such as : Marquis, Polling or business application. Therefore, the SMS technology can also help the problem of “Permata Ibu”General hospital in addressing registration services. Register via SMS allows patients prior to treatment without having to come to hospital. Patients can easily search for information in advance through the menus that are available before registration. By implementing a sistem of SMS-based patient registration information to the hospital, a doctor, can find out how many patients already enrolled on a specific date and time. Abstract

Each of study program at university in Indonesia have to report the results of academic activities for one semester to the Directorate General of Higher Education, The Ministry of National Education of Republic of Indonesia (DIKTI) through the Coordinator of Private Higher Education (KOPERTIS). The report will be used in measuring the performance of the study program for each university in Indonesia. The reporting process is known as the Study Program Evaluation Based on Self Evaluation (EPSBED).Until now data from the processing of EPSBED not yet maximized by the executive party of Budi Luhur University to become one of the reference in the field of academic decisions. For this reason the analysis of the data warehouse of EPSBED may be one of an important component to be considered in any decision-making by the executive party of Budi Luhur University. Moreover, by using the EPSBED data warehouse the process of generating report become faster in a count of minutes because the process is automated and scheduled. Early stages in the datawarehouse EPSBED are extract, transform and load (ETL). ETL is applied using the two methods which are method of Kettle and manual methods. By ETL to datawarehouse EPSBED made the withdrawal process for the preparation of data reporting EPSBED of each program of study will be faster in a matter of minutes. In addition, the process of downloading data can be done by filtering, cleansing and standardizing of data and a data type and can be developed in the schedule for the data withdrawal in a certain period of time. automatically. Thus, reporting EPSBED can be completed quickly and precisely and academic data reported EPSBED stored in the datawarehouse. Abstract

Pada era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini, kemajuan teknologi semakin pesat sehingga kehidupan manusia tidak bisa lepas dari pengaruh teknologi. Teknologi merupakan suatu kebutuhan yang sangat penting bagi semua bidang. Seperti halnya perusahaan, instansi pemerintah, swasta, organisasi maupun perguruan tinggi berusaha untuk meningkatkan pelayanan dan penyajian informasi sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Teknologi informasi dapat menunjang penyajian informasi yang cepat, tepat dan akurat. Salah satunya berdampak pada perkembangan teknologi sistem informasi yang berorientasi pada pemanfaatan sistem komputer dalam mengolah suatu data. Kita ketahui bahwa selama ini siswa-siswi, guru maupun masyarakat pada umumnya dalam hal mencari sumber referensi yang akan dijadikan daftar pustaka masih secara manual sehingga memerlukan fasilitas yang mendukung seperti hadirnya E-Library. Along with the times and technology, it turns out that the demand for information is increased. The information required should also be obtained quickly and accurate. From a variety of technologies to obtain information, one of which is search engine. The role of technology search engine becomes increasingly important in information technology, especially in obtaining the up-to-date information. For example, sometimes we want to know what information is held by an area in the rest of the world, because maybe the area is an area of our prospects or a resource area. This study will discuss the development of simple search engine application by using depth first search method.
