Abstract

In this study the unbalanced load flow analysis with current injection method (current injection) is performed on the electrical grid amid lower that in the electricity grid micro hydro power (MHP) plant in order to determine the characteristics and efficiency of the electricity grid. The case studies carried out on the electrical grid  Cokro Tulung Klaten district. MHP Cokro Tulung the MHP stand alone (stand alone) airport beben-load is inductive beruapa AC electric motor 3 (three) phase that is used to pump water to the water-boom and loads such as lighting, also the burden of household appliances. Power flow studies in an unbalanced state or unbalaced load flow analysis with current injection method (current injection) is performed with the aid of a software program ETAP 7.0. Based on the results of the analysis result unbalaced load flow with the current injection method (current injection) has been done on the electrical grid MHP Cokro Tulung, it was found that the active power losses in total (ΔPT) arising on the power grid MHP full load current of 268.442 W or 0.714% of the total power (37.58 kW). Voltage drop occurs in sktr amounted to 1.123 V or 0.295% of its nominal voltage (380 V). Voltage drop occurs in SUTR respectively 6.994 V or 3.179% of its nominal voltage (220 V). So the power loss (ΔP) and the voltage drop (ΔV) arising on the power grid MHP Cokro Tulung is still small, so the efficiency of the electricity network is still quite good

Abstract

The strategy of business today is no longer done traditionally. By the presence of internet, marketing strategies can be done with the wider reach. Viral marketing is a new program in an electronic format that was created to assist in the marketing of products by making the consumer as an object to spread the advertising of a product. Abundant data from the social network has the potential information that can be utilized for virtual marketing. Social network analysis using a decision tree will produce a potential users and a pattern that could affect the user is to distribute advertising the product. Result is rules that contains the attributes which can influence the pattern indicate users to execute of the strategy business of viral marketing

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact strength fiber-reinforced epoxy composites coco Composites made using a matrix of fiber-reinforced epoxy resin and coco. Coco fiber used is cleaned and dried in the sun for three days. Coco fiber is cut with every fiber length ± 3 cm, then soaked in an alkaline solution (NaOH) 2.5% for 5 hours. Composites formed with a variation of the weight of the matrix of the fiber that is 10, 20, and 30. This experiment is testing the impact. The highest impact toughness value generated on epoxy composite with the addition of coconut coir fiber as much as 30% compared to 20 and 10% variation. The greater the percentage of coco fiber, the higher the value of the impact toughness

Abstract

Enzymes are protein which are used as catalyst in biologycal systems and could lead to changes of certain reactions. One of the enzymes that can be used to hydrolyze the proteins is papain enzyme. This study aimed to determine the effect on the reaction kinetics combine with   the addition of the papain enzyme from papaya latex extraction. The soy milk obtained from the extraction of soya in a was of soybeans that have been soaked ± 12 hours and then cleaned and blended with the addition of hot water for three times. The ratio of weight of soya beans  to water is 1 : 3. Further more, the soy milk was then heated and coagulated at 70oC and added with concentration of the papain enzyme from papaya latex extraction of 200,  600, and 1000 ppm concentration. The test results of reaction kinetics are obtained by Km 25 and Vm 3.303 ppm/minute.

Abstract

Biodiesel is an alternative energy diesel / solar is usually produced through esterification and transesterification. Usually biodiesel produced using a homogeneous catalyst (alkaline/acid). There are weaknesses in homogeneous alkaline catalysts (KOH and NaOH), the soap will appear at the end of the biodiesel production process and very difficult when the separation (separation). Heterogeneous catalyst is a homogeneous catalyst solution to replace due to different phase reactants, a heterogeneous catalyst is zeolite, zeolite catalyst are very easily separated and do not form soap at the end of the biodiesel production process. In previous research, biodiesel is produced using a laboratory scale reactor neck flask 3. Therefore, in this research developed the biodiesel production process of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) using zeolite catalyst H+ in the fluidized bed reactor prototype. Zeolite catalyst performance can be enlarged with the filling material into the zeolite KI. Prototype fluidized bed reactor is operated at the speed of the flow rate of 5 liter / min and the fluidization in the reactor with the minimum fluidization velocity 1.24 cm/s, the weight ratio of zeolite catalyst 2.5% (w/w), mole ratio of methanol : FAME conversion of methyl ester obtained in the 80 minute, is 69.58%

Abstract

Edible coating is film that can coat and safe food for consumption by means of wrapping, dripping and spraying to provide containment selective displacement of gas, water vapor and solute. This research was conducted to produce an edible coating of stach and applied to tomatoes to get the characteristic of edible coating during storage and the amount of addition of glycerol, cmc, stearic acid and the quality of the product, in order to provides an alternative environmentally friendly packaging. Manufacturing of edible coating was done by dissolving 2 grams of tapioca in 100 ml of distilled water and adding glycerol (10; 15; 20 ml), cmc (1; 2; 3 grams) and stearic acid (0,25; 0,5; 0,75 grams) accordance with the treatment of Respone Surface Methodology. The analysis results of tomatoes in the best edible coating during storage for 1 week cause a weight loss of 11,6448 gr, total acid 3,06102 ml/gr, vitamin C 0,32775 mg/g, and pH value 4,63517. While to analysis results of tomatoes in the best edible coating during storage for 2 week cause a weight loss 9,13745 gr, total acid 0,06798 ml/gr, vitamin C 0,85845 mg/g, and pH value 6,32274
