Abstract

Abstract: The sensational story of Samson's birth grabs the reader's attention which made the role of the nameless mother not stand out. This situation becomes urgent for the author to reveal the hidden polemics and elevate the existence of women in the patriarchal cultural ideology implied in this text. This theological thinking is structured through a socio-rhetorical approach to identify the rhetorical techniques that exist in Judges 13:1-25 and analyze from a feminist perspective. The results of this analysis represent the writer of Judges uses irony and paradox in compiling this story to show a polemical feature and create the narration of Judges 13:1-25 as a counter-cultural rhetoric illustration used to replace the dominant ideology with an alternative ideology. This text contributes to the horizon of the reader’s theological thinking to acknowledge and appreciate the existence of marginalized society, especially women infertility who frequently experience discrimination. Abstrak: Kisah sensasional kelahiran Simson menyita fokus pembaca sehingga tidak menonjolkan peran ibunya yang namanya tidak diketahui. Situasi ini menjadi urgensi bagi penulis untuk mengungkap polemik tersembunyi dan mengangkat eksistensi perempuan dalam ideologi budaya patriarki yang tersirat dalam teks ini. Pemikiran teologis ini disusun melalui pendekatan sosio-retoris untuk mengidentifikasi teknik retorika yang terdapat dalam Hakim-Hakim 13:1-25 dan menganalisisnya dengan perspektif feminis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ironi dan paradoks penulis dalam menyusun kisah ini memperlihatkan sifat polemik dan menjadikan narasi Hakim-Hakim 13:1-25 sebagai ilustrasi retorika kontra budaya yang digunakan untuk menggantikan ideologi dominan dengan ideologi alternatif. Tulisan ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pemikiran teologis pembaca agar mengakui dan menghargai keberadaan kaum marjinal, khususnya perempuan mandul yang sering mengalami diskriminasi.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted using quantitative methods, namely by collecting data, analyzing data and testing hypotheses. There are 3 things that are the purpose of this research, namely: first to find out the contribution of the social competence of PAK teachers to student behavior, second to determine the magnitude of the contribution of the PAK teacher’s personality competence to student behavior, and third to find out the joint contribution between the social competence of PAK teachers and the personal competence of PAK teachers on the behavior of SMA Dharma Wanita PEMPROVSU High School students Class XI in 2017. From the results of this study showed a significant contribution between the social competence of PAK teachers (X1), to student behavior (Y) with the personal competence variable of PAK teachers (X2) being controlled, amounting to ry1. 2 = 0.539 with a t-test of 5.788, the price of ttable (5.788> 1.67) is obtained. There is a significant contribution between the personal competence of PAK teachers (X2) on student behavior (Y) with the social competence variable of PAK teachers (X1) being controlled, at ry2. 1 = 0.539 with a t-test of 5.788 and the price for ttable = 1.67 (5.788 > 1.67) is obtained. There is a significant contribution between the social competence of PAK teachers (X1) and the personal competence of PAK teachers (X2) together to students’ behavior (Y) of fh = 41.352 and the price for ftable = 4.02 (41.352> 4.02) , as big as (Y). R2y1.2 = 35.046%. The level of student behavior tendencies (Y) is in the fairly good category with 28 students (49.13%), the category is not good with 32 students (53.43%), for the tendency of social competence of PAK teachers (X1) the number of students 20 people (33.34%), the category is not good with the number of students 40 (66.66%) and the level of personality competency tendency of PAK teachers (X2) the category is not good with the number of students 39 people (65%) ). Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif yaitu dengan pengumpulan data, analisis data serta pengujian hipotesis. Ada tiga tujuan penelitian: pertama untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi kompetensi sosial guru PAK terhadap perilaku siswa, kedua untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi kompetensi kepribadian guru PAK terhadap perilaku siswa dan untuk mengetahui kontribusi secara bersama-sama antara kompetensi sosial guru PAK dan ketiga kompetensi kepribadian guru PAK terhadap perilaku siswa SMA Dharma Wanita PEMPROVSU Kelas XI Tahun 2017. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kontribusi yang signifikan antara kompetensi sosial guru PAK (X1), terhadap perilaku siswa (Y) dengan variabel kompetensi kepribadian guru PAK (X2) dikontrol, sebesar  = 0,539 dengan uji-t 5,788 diperoleh harga  (5,788>1,67). Terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kompetensi kepribadian guru PAK (X2) terhadap perilaku siswa (Y) dengan variabel kompetensi sosial guru PAK (X1) dikontrol, sebesar  = 0,539 dengan uji-t 5,788 dan diperoleh harga  = 1,67 (5,788 > 1,67). Terdapat kontribusi yang berarti antara kompetensi sosial guru PAK (X1) dan kompetensi kepribadian guru PAK (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap perilaku siswa (Y) sebesar  = 41,352 dan diperoleh harga  = 4,02 (41,352> 4,02 ), sebesar (Y). R2y1.2 = 35,046%.  Tingkat kecenderungan perilaku siswa (Y) berada pada kategori cukup baik dengan jumlah siswa 28 orang (49,13%), kategori kurang baik dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang (53,43%), untuk kecenderungan kompetensi sosial guru PAK (X1) jumlah siswa 20 orang (33,34%), kategori kurang baik dengan jumlah siswa 40 (66,66%) dan tingkat kecenderungan kompetensi kepribadian guru PAK (X2) kategori kurang baik dengan jumlah siswa 39 orang (65%).

Abstract

Abstract: This paper discusses the understanding and meaning of the day (yom) according to Job 3:1-10. The purpose of this research is to enrich the approach and interpretation of the interpretation of the Book of Job and open a new understanding which in the future is expected to have an impact on spiritual needs Christians are facing challenges in life that are increasingly difficult or complex, namely to see a new nuance of the relational relationship between humans and God. To achieve this, the main issues discussed in this paper are: how and to what extent does Job 3: 1-10 interpret the word "day"? The writing of this paper belongs to the scientific family of biblical theology and uses a grammatical-historical exegesis approach, while the data collection process is carried out through library research. The result of this study is that the meaning of the word yom contained in Job chapter 3 is interpreted from a pessimistic point of view which is an attempt by the wisdom teacher as an example of faith seeks understanding in exchanges between wise traditions and human experience.   Abstrak: Karya tulis ini membahas mengenai pemahaman dan makna hari (yom) menurut Ayub 3:1-10.Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk memperkaya pendekatan dan penafsiran tafsir akan Kitab Ayub dan membuka suatu pemahaman yang baru yang dikemudian hari diharapkan berdampak kepada kebutuhan rohani umat kristen dalam menghadapi tantangan hidup yang semakin sulit atau kompleks yakni untuk melihat sebuah nuansa baru akan hubungan relasional antara manusia dan Tuhan. Untuk mencapai hal ini, maka pokok permasalahan yang dibahas dalam karya tulis ini adalah: bagaimana dan sejauh manakah Ayub 3: 1-10 memaknai kata “hari” tersebut ?. Penulisan karya tulis ini termasuk dalam rumpun keilmuan teologi biblika dan mengunakan pendekatan eksegesis gramatikal-historis, sedangkan untuk proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah makna dari kata yom yang terdapat dalam Ayub pasal 3 dimaknai dari sudut pandang pesimis yang merupakan sebuah usaha sang guru hikmat sebagai sebuah contoh iman yang mencari pemahaman dalam pertukaran antara tradisi yang bijaksana dan pengalaman manusia.
