<![CDATA[The rapid development of digital technology has accelerated and expanded the spread of misinformation and disinformation, affecting various aspects of life, including political, social, and religious spheres. This study analyzes the prophetic critique in Jeremiah 23:9–40 against false prophets and explores its implications for addressing contemporary challenges of disinformation. Employing a qualitative method with a literature-based approach, the research seeks to identify parallels between the misleading practices of false prophets in Jeremiah’s time and modern figures who disseminate false information for personal or group interests. The findings indicate that false prophets in the era of Jeremiah manipulated religious teachings for personal and political gain, a pattern comparable to contemporary influencers or public figures who spread disinformation for ideological purposes or financial benefit, either directly or through social media. These findings underscore the importance of theological literacy, critical awareness, and ethical leadership in resisting the erosion of truth within the open digital public sphere. This study further contributes to ongoing discussions on the role of biblical principles in guiding faith communities to engage with and respond to disinformation in the digital age in a wise and responsible manner.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to affirm digital preaching as a theological mandate of the church in the digital era, rooted in the Great Commission and the Missio Dei. The research is motivated by a gap in previous studies that primarily focused on the technical and communicative aspects of digital ministry, without adequately framing them within the church’s theological responsibility. Employing a descriptive qualitative method through a literature-based approach in practical theology and digital media, this study finds that digital preaching plays a strategic role in strengthening the faith of believers, preserving doctrinal purity, and expanding the church’s mission in a contextual manner within online spaces. The findings reveal that social media is not merely a technological adaptation tool, but a new missional arena where the church can embody God’s truth and love in relevant ways for the digital generation. Practically, the study recommends that churches develop sustainable digital ministry strategies that balance theological depth with communicative effectiveness. Hence, digital preaching is understood not only as a medium of spiritual communication but also as a missional and contextual practice of practical theology for the church today and in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[The cyborg and posthumanism era poses significant challenges to human understanding of identity, morality, and spirituality due to the dominance of science and technology. This article examines the concept of lex cybernetica from a Christian ethical perspective, emphasizing the ethical boundaries that believers must observe in engaging with technological advancement. Through theological and ethical approaches, this study highlights the moral issues arising from innovations such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and virtual reality, in order to help individuals remain grounded in Christian values. Employing a qualitative methodology that includes case studies, literature review, and theological descriptive analysis, the findings discuss cyborgs and posthumanism, human–technology integration, and theological reflections on humans as co-creators, ideal creations, and the relationship between soteriology and eschatology within the context of technological development.]]>

<![CDATA[The church is a place of worship for Christians, both past and present. The development of science and technology, especially in worship and church administration, has certainly made everything more flexible and dynamic. The development of the congregation's faith is reviewed from science and technology studies which focus on developments in science and technology in the implementation of church stewardship as well as reflections and responses through interviews with the GKI Soka Salatiga congregation. This research aims to see the development of faith in the congregation through individual reflective statements about worship interspersed with technology from the perspectives of youth, parents, church council and the elderly. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with two approaches, both the latest literature and interviews so that the data obtained and analysis through the literature data can find meaning and answer one main question in this research, namely what about reflection. The faith of the congregation sees the development of science and technology in the church, especially at GKI SOKA.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed many aspects of human life, including religion. This study aims to examine the impact of AI on religion and to identify the limits of AI’s influence on human life. Using a qualitative library research method, this study analyzes relevant literature on artificial intelligence, digital technology, and religion through content analysis and a comparative approach. The findings indicate that AI possesses advanced cognitive and technical capabilities and can surpass human performance in various intellectual tasks. However, AI lacks faith, moral awareness, and spiritual experience. Therefore, AI cannot replace the essence of religion, which is rooted in the human relationship with the Transcendent and the search for meaning beyond empirical reality. This study concludes that religion remains essential as a moral foundation and a source of meaning in the technological era.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the relevance of female leadership in the contemporary church through a critical reflection on the figure of Esther using a narrative-feminist hermeneutical approach. Contemporary challenges such as gender inequality within church structures, leadership stagnation, and the need for a contextual leadership model drive this research to address the existing research gap studies on Esther have predominantly focused on the aspect of divine providence, not yet on a strategic and transformative female leadership model for the modern church, particularly in the Indonesian context. This research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method, integrating the analysis of the Book of Esther through the lens of narrative-feminist hermeneutics with contemporary leadership theories (transformational, servant leadership, and feminist leadership theory). The results indicate that Esther's leadership offers a resilient, contextual, and solidarity-based model a leadership paradigm that works within the system while transforming it from within, emphasizing strategic agency, collaboration, and contextual courage. The contribution of this study lies in its hermeneutical enrichment, which opens space for the empowerment of female church leadership through theological legitimacy from the Old Testament narrative. Thus, the contemporary church needs to reflect on Esther's leadership model to face challenges more effectively and inclusively.]]>

<![CDATA[Domestic violence, especially that experienced by children from an early age, leaves serious and lasting psychological, emotional, and spiritual impacts. This article discusses how the process of forgiveness and reconciliation can be a means of healing for victims of domestic violence, without neglecting justice and proper protection. The primary approach uses a psychospiritual perspective based on the REACH Forgiveness model developed by Everett L. Worthington Jr. Through forgiveness, victims are encouraged to free themselves from the shackles of revenge and emotional wounds. Reconciliation is understood not as an obligation to return to the perpetrator, but rather as a restoration of inner peace to the victim. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of distinguishing forgiveness and reconciliation as two distinct processes, as well as the need for a holistic and contextual approach in assisting victims of domestic violence. In the light of Christian faith, forgiveness is a form of spiritual maturity and the first step toward complete recovery, while reconciliation is only possible if justice, security, and repentance of the perpetrator have been fulfilled.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to investigate the effect of implementing the joyful learning method on improving the motivation to learn the Bible among students at Syalom Kindergarten in West Jakarta. The scope of the research is limited to 25 students and be conducted from January to May of the 2025/2026 academic year. The method used is descriptive qualitative within the framework of collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) over 2 cycles. Data collection was carried out with observation using a motivation observation sheet, daily anecdotal records, semi-structured teacher interviews, and documentation, with motivation indicators including activity, attention, participation, and recall response. Qualitative results are presented descriptively and are reinforced by descriptive quantitative data in the form of motivation score percentages. The percentage is calculated using the formula (total motivation score obtained ÷ total maximum score) × 100%, which representing the proportion of motivation achievement relative to the ideal score. The success of the intervention is determined when motivation reaches ≥85% (very well-developed category). In Cycle I, joyful learning were implemented using an expressive storytelling strategy over three meetings. The results showed 70.59% with 20 out of 25 students categorized as motivated, but the class was still generally passive and unfocused. In Cycle II, joyful learning was integrated with puzzle games to make learning more interactive; the achievement increased to 94.12% with 24 out of 25 students motivated, and the students appeared more active and enthusiastic, although one child still had difficulty following the activities.]]>

<![CDATA[The global ecological crisis has affected the sustainability of marine tourism in Bunaken National Park (BNP). Environmental degradation and unsustainable tourism practices indicate the absence of a strong ethical framework in managing coastal conservation areas. This study aims to analyze the revitalization of tourism in BNP through the ecotheological perspective of Robert P. Borrong.This research employs a qualitative method with a critical literature review of ecotheological writings and sustainable tourism studies. The findings indicate that Borrong’s ecotheology emphasizes ecological justice and human moral responsibility as partners of God in the care of creation. The novelty of this study lies in the formulation of a contextual ecotheological-based conceptual model for marine tourism revitalization specifically applied to Bunaken National Park. Practically, this study offers an ethical reference for churches, local communities, and park managers in promoting sustainable tourism governance.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia’s environmental crisis demands a church response that is not merely practical but grounded in systematic and contextual theological reflection. Although many churches have demonstrated concern for environmental issues, such responses often remain fragmented and insufficiently integrated into a coherent ecological theological framework. This article aims to analyze the urgency of developing ecological theology as a theological foundation for Indonesian churches in addressing environmental crises sustainably.This study employs a qualitative theological literature analysis through critical dialogue with the paradigms of missio Dei, ecological justice within liberation theology, and integral ecotheology. The analysis focuses on Indonesia’s environmental crisis, ecclesial practices, and the challenges and opportunities for developing ecological theology in the Indonesian church context. The findings indicate that ecclesial responses have not yet been fully supported by systematic theological reflection, limiting their long-term transformative impact. This article contributes a contextual ecological theological framework that bridges theological reflection and ecclesial praxis in Indonesia, emphasizing the integration of faith, social justice, and ecological responsibility as an essential dimension of the church’s mission.]]>
