Abstract

With the various advantages and conveniences that the internet can provide, various fields of human activity have begun to use internet technology to help facilitate the activities they undertake. Likewise with the education sector in managing its administration. The web is one of the internet technologies that is widely used to facilitate monitoring of school activities because it can be accessed easily anywhere and at any time, from school facilities to school activities. Through the use of a web data system, problems involving redundancy of student information, insynchronization between existing information and slow production of information can be overcome. By designing an information system or web-based portal, you can increase performance effectiveness.

Abstract

Currently, there is a cooling system in vehicle engines that uses additional cooling which warns the driver that the engine's working temperature has exceeded a predetermined threshold, but not for older vehicles or those that still use a CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) system that only relies on the cooling system. through the fins on the machine. To overcome the problems described previously, research was carried out. The result of this research is a tool or device that can detect excessive heat in a vehicle engine using the DS18B20 sensor. The temperature sensor results are processed using an NodeMCU ESP8266 Lolin microcontroller to obtain information about engine temperature. This tool provides a warning system with fan commands and an LCD display that shows the condition of the engine's working temperature at that time. With this tool, overheating of the engine can be prevented.

Abstract

The increase in air pollution is a serious environmental issue in many major cities in Indonesia. This study aims to develop an effective and efficient air pollution monitoring system using a microcontroller. The designed system consists of air pollution sensors capable of detecting various pollutants such as PM10, CO2, and NO2. The data collected from the sensors are processed by the microcontroller and displayed in real-time to users through a web-based interface. This method allows users to accurately and promptly monitor the air quality in their surroundings. The results show that the microcontroller-based monitoring system operates stably and provides accurate data on the concentration of pollutants in the air. This system is expected to be a valuable tool for the general public and authorities in monitoring and managing air quality, as well as taking preventive measures against the adverse effects of air pollution.

Abstract

Global warming is partly caused by the increasing amount of greenhouse gas emissions accumulating in the Earth's atmosphere, leading to a rise in surface temperatures over time. Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are the main component of greenhouse gases. The largest CO2 emissions from the energy sector come from the use of electricity generated by building activities. This study aims to analyze the CO2 emissions produced from electricity use at MTs Bahrul Ulum. Data collection on electricity usage was conducted by measuring the power consumption of air conditioners, lights, PCs, and laptops used during operational hours, particularly in the MTs Bahrul Ulum school building. CO2 emissions from the electricity consumption of electronic equipment were calculated using emission factors according to the regulations of the Directorate General of Electricity, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). The method used is a carbon footprint study. The results show that electricity usage at the location is 6,954.792 kWh/year, and the emissions generated from this electricity usage amount to 8,507.243784 kgCO2/year. This study also developed an application using the R program to facilitate the calculation and analysis of CO2 emissions based on secondary carbon footprints. The application is designed to help users identify and reduce CO2 emissions resulting from daily activities in the school environment.

Abstract

Tourism plays a crucial role in regional and national economies, with local tourism in Indonesia, particularly in Jombang Regency, East Java, offering substantial development potential. However, tourists often face difficulties in planning trips that align with their budgets due to inadequate integration of information on costs, trip duration, and participant numbers. This study develops a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to enhance trip planning for tourism in Jombang. The DSS integrates data on budget, trip duration, and the number of participants to provide optimal recommendations based on user preferences and constraints. The SAW method facilitates a systematic and objective evaluation process for recommending tourist destinations. The research follows the ADDIE development model, encompassing Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Key objectives include creating a system that consolidates cost, duration, and participant data, applying SAW for accurate recommendations, and ensuring an objective evaluation process. The system aims to improve trip planning efficiency, provide accurate recommendations, and enhance user satisfaction. The scope of this study is limited to applying the SAW method for budget prediction in tourism recommendations for Jombang. The developed system is a prototype that may require further refinement for comprehensive implementation.

Abstract

This research, entitled "IoT-based Intelligent Charity Box Design", aims to develop a charity box system that utilizes the Internet of Things (Iot) technology to enhance public participation in charity. In this context, the charity box not only serves as a container for storing donations, but is also equipped with features that can automatically monitor and calculate the amount of money inserted. The system uses the Wemos D1 Mini as a microcontroller connected to the Internet, allowing users to access data in real time through a website. In addition, this smart charity box is equipped with a PIR sensor that detects motion and triggers sound on the DFPlayer, as well as a TCS3200 color sensor that counts the paper money entered. Thus, the research not only offers technological solutions, but also seeks to remind the public of the importance of charity in a more interactive and efficient way. The results of this research are expected to benefit the management of charity funds and raise social awareness in the community.
