Abstract

Student savings is one of the flagship programs at the Al-Husna Education Foundation, which aims to train students in managing finances from an early age. Through this program, students are taught to set aside some of their pocket money to meet school needs such as uniforms, tuition fees, and other activities. This program also plays a role in shaping the character of discipline, frugality, and responsibility. However, the previous savings management system was still manual, namely by recording transactions in savings books and cash books. This method is prone to cause recording errors, data loss, and a lack of information transparency for students' parents. In addition, manual recording becomes less efficient as the number of transactions increases. To address these problems, a website-based student savings management system has been developed to replace manual processes with automated systems. The system is built using the CodeIgniter 4 framework, the PHP programming language, and the MySQL database. The results of the study show that this system is able to make it easier to record transactions, present reports automatically, and provide fast, accurate, and transparent access to information for schools and parents of students.

Abstract

Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is the oldest cottage in Jombang district which was founded in 1830 AD until now. which of course has a very large number of students, both students and alumni status. The author wishes to research how to manage data in information systems with hundreds or millions of data quickly and easily. Proper query design is very influential on information system applications, if you only rely on conventional query techniques, the results needed to process queries are relatively slow, and the time required is also longer. The purpose of this research is to optimize the query using the ingress algorithm which will later be tested and compared the results with queries that have not been optimized or conventional to determine the extent to which the query process can be accelerated. The experimental results show that the execution time is more effective and faster using an optimized command using the Ingres algorithm with an average processing time of 0.13226 seconds, and an average request that has not been optimized 0.2079 seconds, in other words the result is 65% faster than unoptimized queries.

Abstract

This Arduino-based fish feed aims to design and build a catfish feeder automatically based on the Arduino Uno-based fish feeding schedule. This feeder uses the RTC DS3231 to set the time and schedule for feeding fish which is equipped with a Servo Motor as a feed valve opener and an LCD as a clock and date display on the feed schedule. The weight of the feed issued is based on the weight of the catfish and the number of fish. The number of catfish in this study is 100 fish with a pond size of 2 meters by 2 meters. The scheduled feeding schedule is morning, afternoon, evening and night, depending on the age of the catfish. Considering that catfish are cannibals that eat their own kind and are nocturnal, that is, animals that are active at night and sleep during the day, it is best if some of the feed is given more in the afternoon or at night because the catfish's appetite is high at night. The feeding schedule is in the morning at 08.00, noon at 12.00, in the afternoon at 16.00 and at night at 20.00. The button on the remote will control how many times the feed will come out of the feed tray. When the feed in a fish feed container has run out, the ultrasonic sensor will work and an alarm will sound from the buzzer which sounds as a reminder. From the test results, it was obtained that the feed weight was regular after designing an Arduino Uno-based automatic fish feed structure, and the servo moved according to a predetermined schedule.

Abstract

Heart rate is a very vital part of the human body, if the heart rate exceeds the maximum limit it will be very dangerous for the body. So we need a heart rate recording device that can store heart rate recording data so that it makes it easier to control health. This study aims to test the heart rate recording system with a comparison of a factory-made device, namely an oximeter. Making measuring instruments consists of making hardware and making software. In making hardware, several components are used, namely pulse sensors, NodeMCU, Oled and the device for making software is the Arduino IDE. Testing of the heart rate detection device is carried out by placing a pulse sensor at the tip of the finger to measure the heart rate of respondents of different ages. The test results show that the measuring tools that have been made show that manual calculations and using tools have fairly good accuracy. The results of the data obtained from the test were 60% (3 out of 5 people) who had the same heart rate using either a device or an oximeter. The average accuracy value of the heart rate recording system when compared to an oximeter is relatively small, namely 1-2 bpm.

Abstract

In order to increase agricultural commodities in the Jombang Regency area to be higher, innovations are needed that can have a positive impact on the progress of the existing agricultural sector. One aspect that can support this progress is the existence of a plant commodity monitoring information system. The crop commodity monitoring system is a web-based application aimed at viewing and assessing the process of food crop growth systematically, starting from the planting period to the harvest period. From this system , historical crop data will be obtained, where these data can then be used as knowledge material for the Jombang Regency Agriculture Office in terms of policy making, such as the supply of seeds and fertilizer needs on subsidized and non-subsidized land, determination of planting periods, or predictions of agricultural products next year. In addition, this system also provides information related to plant conditions, plant age and instructions in determining plants to suit existing land. To realize this, the author designed and built an integrated web-based crop commodity monitoring information system on agricultural land. This research uses R&D (Research and Development) method. The test results using Black Box show that the functionality of this information system has been running well. The final result obtained from this study is that the system is more efficient and has comprehensive data than the old system that has been operating in the Jombang Regency Agriculture Office.
