USRAH: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam published by Al-Ahwal Research Centre of Departement of Islamic Family Law, STAI Muhammadiyah Probolinggo since 2019. The subject covers textual and fieldwork studies with various perspectives of Islamic Family Law, Islam and gender discourse, and legal drafting of Islamic Civil law. In the beginning, the journal only served as a scholarly forum for the lecturers, professors, and students at the State Institute of Islamic Studies. However, due to the later development, the journal has successfully invited scholars and researchers outside the Institute to contribute. Until now, with the fair procedure of double peer-review, Usrah continues to publish researches and studies concerned with Islamic Family Law, Gender Discourse, and Legal Drafting of Islamic Civil Law with various dimensions and approaches. Usrah, published twice a year, always places Islamic Family Law, Gender Discourse, and Islamic Civil Law in the central focus of academic inquiry and invites any comprehensive observation of Islam Family Law as a normative Islam and a system of society and Muslims as those who practice the religion with their many facets.

Abstract

Sharia-based digital marketing to increase batik sales and improve family welfare has been implemented since 2024. Sharia-compliant batik marketing is carried out using digital marketing platforms (TikTok Shop, Instagram, and Facebook) while prioritizing Sharia-compliant marketing. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews, observation, and documentation. This study analyzes the application of Sharia-compliant marketing principles in digital strategies. The results show that Sakha Boutique has successfully implemented Sharia-compliant digital marketing by selling halal and thayyib products, utilizing social media for market expansion, conducting honest and transparent promotions, setting fair prices according to quality, maintaining healthy Islamic competition, and implementing product distribution based on the principle of trustworthiness. This effectively contributes to increased sales while strengthening the brand's image as an ethical business that improves family welfare.

Abstract

BAZNAS Kota Madiun dari berbagai program zakat produktif, seperti BISAFARI, BISAFARI penyandang disabilitas, pemberdayaan UMKM melalui Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ) berbasis masjid/musholla, dan program BUNDA (Bantuan untuk Dhuafa Janda). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BAZNAS Kota Madiun telah melaksanakan program zakat produktif dengan memberikan bantuan modal usaha kepada mustahik yang memiliki potensi ekonomi. Proses seleksi dilakukan melalui survei lapangan dan verifikasi administratif. Hambatan utama dalam pelaksanaan program ini antara lain terbatasnya dana, kurangnya pendampingan usaha, serta rendahnya literasi kewirausahaan di kalangan mustahik. Meskipun demikian, program ini memberikan dampak positif seperti peningkatan pendapatan, kemandirian ekonomi, dan berkurangnya ketergantungan pada bantuan konsumtif. Oleh karena itu, zakat produktif merupakan solusi strategis dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan perlu direplikasi secara lebih luas di daerah lain.

Abstract

The tradition of reverse khitbah in Lamongan Regency, where women take the initiative to propose to men, is a unique phenomenon that has been practiced for generations since the 17th century. This study analyzes the legitimacy of these traditions through the theoretical framework of 'urf and maqashid sharia. Using a literature research method, this study synthesizes the findings of previous research in Paciran, Modo, Mantup, and Mayong Village, Karangbinangun District, and evaluates them against primary Islamic sources. The results of the study show that reverse khitbah has normative legitimacy in the hadiths of the Prophet and the practices of the Companions, without any explicit prohibition in Islamic law. From the perspective of the theory of 'urf, this tradition is included in 'urf sahih (a valid custom) because it meets four criteria: it does not contradict nash qath'i, brings benefits without harm, has been in practice consistently for more than three centuries, and is a manifestation of the rules of taghayyur al-ahkam bi taghayyur al-azman wa al-amkan. Through the methodology of superstition by adopting the contemporary maqashid approach of Jasser Auda, this tradition is in line with the goals of the protection of religion (hifzh al-din), heredity (hifzh al-nasl), and dignity (hifzh al-karamah). This research contributes theoretically by offering an integrative analytical framework that combines contemporary 'urf theory, taghayyur rules, and maqashid, and practically provides academic legitimacy for local traditions and perspectives for policymakers on the flexibility of Islamic law in local contexts.
