Abstract

The goal of this study is to categorize the findings of a survey on the application of the MBKM policy that DIKTI performed via universities that had been awarded research funding. The survey results have not been categorized, making it difficult for the institution to determine if the MBKM policy has been implemented in accordance with the MBKM standards released by the Higher Education. The K-Mean and K-Medoids Algorithms are used in this study technique to solve data grouping issues and validate clustering outcomes using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI). 400 data points total were processed from 16 variables in this investigation. The findings of this investigation were tested using several clusters. After analyzing clusters using DBI, the K-Mean algorithm discovered that cluster 5 had K-Medoids of 0.9 and a value of 0.823. Therefore, it is advised to employ 5 clusters with the K-Mean Algorithm for grouping data from the MBKM survey findings.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to optimize the parameters of a Support Vector Machine (SVM) using a genetic algorithm for credit risk assessment. Consumer credit data from a bank is used in this research. The results show that the SVM with parameters optimized using a genetic algorithm provides better classification performance compared to the SVM with default parameters. In addition, the genetic algorithm can also quickly and efficiently optimize SVM parameters. Abstract

Android is one of the most popular mobile operating systems (OS) in the world. This operating system was first released in 2008 and has undergone rapid development over the years. One of the factors that contributed to the success of Android is its support for multimedia. The Android operating system has demonstrated its ability to run a variety of multimedia applications, such as music players, video players, cameras, and photo galleries. In addition, Android has become a pioneer in multimedia for humanity because of its ability to deliver high-quality and easy-to-use multimedia content. As the author of this literature review, I hope that the results of this study can provide a deeper understanding of the role of Android as a pioneer in multimedia for humanity. I also hope that this study can contribute to the understanding of the history of Android and its continued relevance today.

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology at a time when the educational paradigm is changing serves as the driving force behind this study. This study aims to assess how AI adoption affects higher education students' learning. The research examines literature on the application of AI in higher education in order to accomplish this aim. The findings demonstrate that the application of AI technology has the potential to improve the efficacy of learning through the personalization of the learning process, the development of students' future-ready abilities, and the creation of a more flexible learning environment. Thus, AI in higher education creates a wealth of chances for creative thinking in the classroom. However, in order to combine technology with fundamental educational concepts, ethical concerns and accountability are necessary.

Abstract

The content of Al and Fe in coal fly ash has underpinned several studies on the use of coal fly ash as a coagulant and adsorbent. Coal fly ash coagulant was activated with H2SO4. While coal fly ash adsorbent is activated with HCl. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the  coagulant  or  as   adsorbent,  to determine the optimum concentration of coagulant/ adsorbent addition, and to determine the effectiveness of fly ash as a coagulant/ adsorbent in reducing COD and TSS in Pulp and Paper wastewater. This research used 2 treatments, activating coal fly ash with 2M H2SO4 and 4M HCl, and then comparing the effect of fly ash coagulants and adsorbents in reducing COD and TSS wastewater. The results showed that coagulant reduced COD by 53.23% and TSS by 60.1%, more effective  than  adsorbent  which  only reduced COD by 6.38%, and increased TSS value by 7.2%. However, it has not yet below the quality standards. Numerical  analysis  using  3rd  order polynomials shows that doses of 41,000-42,000 ppm of coagulant can reduce COD below the quality standard. This concludes is coal fly ash coagulant is effective in reducing COD and TSS of pulp and paper wastewater, with the optimal dose to reduce COD below the quality standard, is 41,000 - 42,000 ppm.
