Abstract

Purpose -  Hajj financial use The Hajj is an obligation for Muslims who can carry out. Over time, the number of people who perform Hajj is increasing, but the quota is minimal. It raises new problems; one of them is the problem of the financial management of Hajj. The financial of Hajj accumulates and inflation occurs every year. One of the solutions to the financial problem in Hajj is to invest in a productive field. The purpose of this paper is to find out the Islamic scholars’ consideration of the justification of using Hajj fund and investing it in productive fields.Method - This research is conducted through a qualitative descriptive approach.Result - All Islamic organizations in Indonesia, especially MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia/ Indonesian Ulama Council), justify the Hajj financial use.Implication  -  The result can be used by society as information and consideration regarding Hajj and the mechanism of financial management in religious prayers administered by the government.Originality  - This research study the recent existence of investment purposes in Hajj fund management.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to determine of disclosure level of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) and its impact on profitability at Sharia Commercial Bank in Indonesia.Method - This study uses Good Corporate Governance (GCG), which is proxied with self-assessment, number of commissioners, and number of Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS), financial is proxied with company size, company age, DER, Social Cost, BOPO, FDR, and NPF. Profitability is proxied with ROA and ROE. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling method. There are 12 Sharia Banks that meet the criteria of the study sample period 2013-2017.The result - The results showed that: first, GCG hurt ISR. Second, financial factors have a positive effect on ISR. Third, GCG negative affects profitability; the greater the number of commissioners and DPS will have an impact on the material costs of the Bank. Fourth, financial factors have a positive effect on profitability. Fifth, ISR hurts profitability. Sixth, ISR mediates the relationship between GCG and financial factors with profitability.Implication  - This study helps sharia banks to maintain Islamic Social Reporting as a tool to get stakeholders’ trustOriginality -  This study uses a corporate social responsibility report, which also presents the aspect of religiosity.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of Sharia bank knowledge, promotion, and facility on saving decisions in Shariah bank both directly and through saving interest.Method - The population in this study is the students of Sharia banking department at Islamic Business and Economics Faculty of IAIN Purwokerto Batch 2016/2017 of 106 students. All populations in this study were used as the sample. The technique of data collection in this study used questionnaires. Techniques of data analysis used descriptive statistic analysis and path analysis. Result - The results showed that Sharia bank knowledge, promotion, and facility give a positive and significant effect on saving decisions in Sharia Bank. Saving interest can mediate Sharia bank knowledge, promotion, and facility on saving decisions in Sharia Bank.Implication - Suggestion from this study are expected that Sharia Bank can fix the facility and improve promotions so that the customer candidate can know what kind of product offered so that saving interest and saving decision in Sharia Bank can be improved.Originality - This study adds Islamic bank knowledge and saving interest variable as the intervening variable.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to explain syirkah, one of the popular profit-sharing scheme.Method - This research is a descriptive analysis that describes all data and then analyzes the data to obtain a conclusion.Result - This study concludes that the legal basis of syirkah is Al-Qur'an, Sunnah, ijma 'and its application in Islamic banking, namely project financing and venture capital.Implication – Understanding one of the implementation of the profit-sharing system mostly keeps the principle of justice running in the economy.Originality - This study is essential to continue to be studied and explored considering there are still many issues of Islamic law (muamalah) that need to be resolved in sharia law.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to examine the welfare level of amil zakat in Dompet Dhuafa. The salary received by one amil with another amil is different. Some fulfill the UMR of Semarang City, but there are also those that are still below the UMR of Semarang City.Method – This study is performed using qualitative phenomenology analysis.Result - The results of this study indicate that the welfare level of amil zakat in Dompet Dhuafa in Central Java using measurements according to BKKBN has included prosperity, starting from Prosperous Family II (KS II) to Prosperous Family III Pus (KS III Plus), and if using measurements according to BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) shows that all amil zakat have lived properly and by the Prosperous Family according to BPS.Implication – This study is expected to be able to give a picture of the stakeholders about the importance of minding the welfare of amil zakat.Originality – This study is researching salary and wage effects on welfare with a qualitative approach. Previous existing researches are dominated by quantitative research.

Abstract

Purpose – The main purpose of this study is to examine role of  financial literacy, peer conformity, and hedonic lifestyle towards teenagers’ consumption behavior.Method -  Consumer behavior explains the desire to have excessive consumption. The population in this study were all adolescents high school and university in the region of Central Semarang, amounting to 26 583 students, with a sample of 100 adolescents. This study uses a quantitative approach to data collection methods in the form of a questionnaire. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis.Result - Peer conformity, hedonistic lifestyle, and financial literacy simultaneously influence consumer behavior adolescent high school and university in the Middle Semarang with a contribution of 37%. Partially significance value 0769 for peer conformity and 0. 992 for financial literacy while lifestyle 0:00 hedonic significance value. In this study, only hedonic factors that influence consumer behavior of teenagers.Implication -  This study can be used to understand behavior in teenager, especially in terms of purchase and consumption behavior.Originaility -  This research examine financial literacy in teenager phase.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this research is to test the quality of products and quality of service to consumer loyalty of small business, Bandeng Rozal.Method - Data were obtained from distributing questionnaires to 100 consumers using simple random sampling and measured by the scale of Likert. Quantitative analysis included validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing through t-test and F test, and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), while data processing is run used SPSS 16.Result - The result showed the variables in this research had a significant effect on consumer loyalty. Based on the F test, it showed that variables in this study in which they were product quality and service quality simultaneously or jointly have a significant effect on consumer loyalty.Implication - This result can assist small business in increasing their consumer loyalty.Originality - This research focuses on small business adaptability in competing in the industry with a marketing perspective.
