Abstract

The background of this study is the experience in teached Intermediate Accounting 2 last year that showed unsatisfied results. The purpose of this study are to test and to get the empirical evidance on the effectivity of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) as a teaching methode used in Intermediate Accounting 2 to improve Student Partisipations and Learning Competence.60 students of Accounting Education Departement in 4th semester become objects in this study. This study used primary datas collected from tests, observations dan documentations. This research was done in 3 cycles. Each cycles consisted of 5 stages, they were pre-reflecting, planning, acting, observing and post-reflecting. The results showed empirical evidance that Teams Games Tournament (TGT) methode used in Intermediate Accounting 2 can improve Student Partisipations and Learning Competence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that influence the possibility of fraud on the division of accounting-finance. The population in this study were lecturers and staff at the Faculty of Economics, Semarang State University who engaged in the activity of accountability report (SPJ). The number of samples was 15 respondents by applying proportional cluster sampling, this study used qualitative method namely phenomenology and applied descriptive analysis in order to obtain comprehensive results. The results showed that rationalization factors affecting the possibility of fraud. Furthermore, capability factor also gave effect to the possibility of fraud.

Abstract

Learning process is an important aspect at school because the learning interaction is the core activity which can be the means of structured and planned knowledge transfer from teacher to students. In a good teaching-learning process, teacher as the learning manager should make the class comfortable and fun which can  encourage the development of students’ character values. The objective of the study is to obtain empirical evidence of the effectiveness of combining Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning strategies in teaching Investments to improve students’ discipline, creativity, diligence, and participation. The sample of the research consists of 48 Economics Education students. Data are collected from observations, interviews, and documentation. The stages of the research inclueds planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, analysis, and reflection.Proses pembelajaran adalah suatu hal yang penting dalam sebuah pendidikan karena interaksi pembelajaran adalah kegiatan inti pembelajaran yang dapat menjadi sarana transfer keilmuan dari guru dengan siswa yang terstruktur dan terencana, sehingga akan menjadikan siswa paham akan materi pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru/dosen. Proses pembelajaran yang baik, hendaknya pengajar sebagai pengelola pembelajaran harus mampu menghidupkan suasana kelas yang nyaman dan menyenangkan serta mampu mengupayakan terbentuknya nilai-nilai karakter yang tepat bagi peserta didik. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai efektivitas penerapan kombinasi strategi pembelajaran Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dan Number Heads Together (NHT) pada kompetensi dasar investasi dalam meningkatkan nilai karakter kedisiplinan, kreatif, kerja keras, dan keaktifan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Akuntansi Keuangan Menengah 2 di jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Akuntansi Keuangan Menengah 2 di jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi sebanyak 48 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tahapan penelitian ini adalah: tahap perencanaan, implementasi tindakan, pemantauan dan evaluasi, analisis dan refleksi.

Abstract

The research aims to know the perception of students of ease use of Sikadu, the perception of students of usefulness use of Sikadu, and the impact of students’ perception of ease and usefulness of Sikadu. The approach of this research used quantitative research with descriptive analysis. Sample was students of Faculty of Economics, class of 2015 and 2016. The results of research indicates that students’ perception of the menu and display existing is easy to use in lecture activities up to the utilization of obtaining learning result information; students’ perception of the menu and display existing in Sikadu is very useful in lecturing activities up to the utilization of learning result information; the ease and usefulness in Sikadu encourages the students to use it although it is still rare used when it is seen from the frequency of using. Students mostly use it at the beginning and end of the semester; and the skill to operate computers. The need and demand to use Sikadu in academic administration becomes the main factors that encourage students to use Sikadu.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the effectiveness of combining Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning strategies in teaching Investments to improve students’ discipline, creativity, diligence, and participation. Population was students who enrolled in Intermediate Financial Accounting 2 course in Economics Education Department; Economics Faculty of Universitas Negeri Semarang The sample of the research consists of 48 students. Data were collected by using observations, interviews, and documentation. The stages of the research include planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, analysis, and reflection. Findings show that the combination of TAI and NHT does not improve students’ learning outcomes even thought it manages to increase students’ pre-test score in learning Investments as well as their participation in classroom.

Abstract

This study aimed to explain the effect of the utilization of information technology and the role of lecturers in accounting learning on the value of conservation character and academic performance of "Generation Z" students, both directly and indirectly through mediation. The population in this study was selected purposively with a sample of 185 accounting education students in 2015. This research used a mixed methods approach and the type of research was a case study. The test results directly indicated the utilization of information technology and affected the academic performance of Generation Z students. The role of lecturers in accounting learning affected the academic performance of Generation Z students. The utilization of information technology affected the value of conservation character. In addition, the role of lecturers in accounting learning also affected the value of conservation character. There was an effect of the conservation character value on the academic performance of generation Z students. Mediation testing also showed the effect of the utilization of information technology on the academic performance of generation Z students through conservation character values. The role of lecturers in accounting learning affected the academic performance of generation Z students through the value of conservation character. This research is expected to contribute both to practice and in the theoretical realm. For educators and generation Z, it should be wise to use information technology by paying attention to conservation values. For the theoretical realm, it is necessary to continue to develop and study this topic in different sectors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi kesejahteraan guru, figur guru panutan, pengalaman mengajar terhadap kesiapan berkarir menjadi guru melalui self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Semarang angkatan 2015 yang berjumlah 371 mahasiswa. Ukuran sampel penelitian menggunakan rumus slovin pada standard error 5% sebanyak 194 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis jalur. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan berkarir menjadi guru mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi UNNES angkatan 2015 dalam kategori cukup tinggi, persepsi kesejahteraan guru dalam ketegori cukup baik, figur guru panutan dalam kategori baik, pengalaman mengajar dalam kategori baik, dan self-efficacy dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan figur guru panutan, pengalaman mengajar, dan self-efficacy terhadap kesiapan berkarir menjadi guru. Figur guru panutan dan pengalaman mengajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap self-efficacy. Sementara itu, persepsi kesejahteraan guru tidak berpengaruh terhadap self-efficacy maupun kesiapan berkarir menjadi guru. Saran yang dapat diberikan antara lain pihak perguruan tinggi dapat menyediakan sarana yang menunjang dan dapat mengembangkan skill serta keterampilan mahasiswa sebagai bekal memasuki dunia kerja. Seperti, pelatihan soft skill mahasiswa, bimbingan karir dan penyediaan sarana praktik bekerja sesuai program studi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bagi hasil, brand image, dan keragaman produk terhadap minat menabung santri di bank syariah dengan promosi sebagai variabel moderasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah santri Pondok Pesantren Durrotu Ahlisunnah Waljama’ah Banaran Kota Semarang yang berjumlah sebanyak 400 orang. Sampel berjumlah 200 orang dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan pemilihan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi moderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, bagi hasil berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah. Brand image berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah. Keragaman produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah. Promosi mampu memoderasi akan tetapi memperlemah hubungan antara bagi hasil terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah. Promosi mampu memoderasi akan tetapi memperlemah hubungan antara brand image terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah. Promosi mampu memoderasi akan tetapi memperlemah hubungan antara keragaman produk terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah. Saran yang dapat diberikan dari penelitian ini adalah perlu ditingkatkan minat menabung santri dengan cara mengurangi pengeluaran yang tidak penting dan tidak mendesak sehingga santri dapat menyisihkan uangnya untuk ditabung di bank syariah
