Abstract

Soil and Agriculture Museum as a center for information and education in agriculture which is managed by the Center for Library and Agricultural Technology Dissemination. In order to attract visitors, the museum needs to be managed creatively and attractively. This paper aims to provide information to users about the services and activities provided by the Museum of Soil and Agriculture (MTP). Services and activities carried out by libraries and museums to attract users during the COVID-19 pandemic are Virtual Tour MTP, Virtual Tour International Museum Day series, MTP Thematic Exhibition, Sundanese Cultural Creation Dance Competition, Illustration Drawing Competition. In addition to these activities, PUSTAKA also produced five videos which were posted on the Soil and Agriculture Museum Web. The results of activities and promotions carried out by PUSTAKA are then narrated descriptively. The results of the study show that after the promotion of services and activities in 2020 was held, the total visitors to the Soil and Agriculture Museum reached 13,844 people, both directly and via virtually, with students as the most visitors students. It can be concluded that the promotion and service activities carried out can increase the number of visits to the museum.

Abstract

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences library provides various collections of library materials as learning resources in supporting the implementation of the Tri Darma of Higher Education. The background of this research is that the library does not yet know the citation of collections by students of the Department of Mathematics in compiling the final work. The purpose of this research is to analyze the citation of library collections which include type, language, year of publication, and availability of literature. The research method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research subject is a collection of thesis, theses, and dissertations for 2019 Mathematics Department students, while the object of research is a bibliography of the collection. Methods of data collection using the method of documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of this analysis show the average citation of all samples of 21 citations; in the collection of literary thesis the most cited are books 50.2%, theses, books are most cited 47%, dissertations are most cited journals 61%; most of the cited literature is in English 84%; the year of publication cited is mostly the younger year, and the overall availability of literature in the sufficient category is 53%. The conclusion of this study, the most widely cited books by students of the Department of Mathematics at the S1 and S2 levels, while S3 students cite journals the most.

Abstract

An analysis of the Open Journal System (OJS) published by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences 2016-2020 was carried out, against the background of the growing development of OJS. The analysis aims to determine: a) The number of OJS issued by LIPI; b) Number of OJS that have received SINTA accreditation from the Ministry of Research and Technology/BRIN; c) Frequency of issue of OJS; d) Most publishers; e) Number of articles published 2016-2020. The data source is a journal located on the https://ejournal.lipi.go.id/ site. The study used a descriptive method, and data collection was carried out by noting the title of the journal, frequency of publication, description of the contents of the journal, the first year it was published, the level of accreditation of the SINTA journal, and the number of articles. The results showed that 25 OJS titles had been published, and the most were in the social and humanities field (9 journals). OJS is at least an engineering field (4 titles). The Sinta 2 accreditation is in the top position, but there is no SINTA 1 accreditation. The highest frequency of publication is twice a year, the number of articles is 1,631 titles, namely the field of biology, 447 titles, social humanities 773 titles, engineering 191 titles, and earthly 220 titles. It is concluded that OJS LIPI has 25 titles, with the number of social and humanities journals occupying the first place, it is necessary to improve the quality of journals from SINTA 2 to SINTA 1.

Abstract

Selection of the Best Outstanding Librarian at the National Level is one way to appreciate librarians who are highly dedicated to their duties. This event is carried out by the National Library of Indonesia through the Center for Librarian Development in a systematic and tiered manner, starting from the election at the provincial level to the national level. The COVID-19 pandemic brought a different color to the Selection of National Best Outstanding Librarian year 2020, which was held online for the first time. Through this study, it provides an overview of the differences in the offline and online selection process for Outstanding Librarians, as well as a SWOT strategy analysis for each mechanism. The studywas conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection is done by document review and observation, analysis is done by SWOT analysis. The results obtained the portrait of the change in the mechanism for the Selection ofOutstanding Librarians, where the online selection process is fully carried out via the virtual meeting application and eliminating of visit activities. Meanwhile, in the SWOT analysis, the results obtained are the ST strategy on the offline mechanism and the WO strategy on the online mechanism.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the level of satisfaction in the use and user feedback of the booking book feature service in the Syiah Kuala University Integrated Library Information System (UILIS) mobile library application during service restrictions as an effort to provide excellent service in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is quantitative because the data obtained are in the form of descriptive statistics and percentages. The method used is a survey, the sample in this study amounted to 65 people who were taken by random sampling. The data analysis technique used the descriptive analysis method, the data were analyzed by describing the picture and the results of the data that had been obtained. The results of the study indicate that the booking book feature is quite satisfactory for users, it can be seen from the level of utilization of the booking book feature. The development of the booking book feature has been to the lifestyle of today's society, which requires that the information sought can be found quickly and precisely. User feedback based on survey results shows that 75.69% of users agree that the booking book feature makes it very easy for them to get the books they need. Users also strongly agree that the booking feature is very useful and is a quick solution in getting the right collection service, with an average interpretation score of 82, 77%. The use of the USK Library's book booking feature is increasingly in demand to get books easily and save users' time. The results obtained are 72.61% of the booking book feature is quite satisfactory for users. The conclusion of this research is the USK Library still needs to improve the booking book feature service by making continuous improvements so that the utilization rate of the USK Library collection continues to increase.

Abstract

The results of research in universities are expected to contribute to the development of science and technology and can provide benefits for the welfare of society. This study aims to map out topics from the 2020 student final project research to evaluate the achievement of the vision and mission of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The research method used is a quantitative method with bibliometric analysis, namely mapping research topics based on co-word analysis. Data processing using VOSviewer. The results showed that the research theme for the final project of students from each department was in accordance with the flagship research theme of FEB UGM. The research theme for the final project of the Accounting Department students has conformity to clean organizational governance to create people with integrity, 71%, with dominant topics, Corporate Social Responsibility, internal control, performance, and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. The research theme for the final project of the students of the Department of Economics is that it is compatible with sustainable economic growth based on local wisdom, amounting to 63.9% with dominant topics, economic growth, unemployment, fixed effects, Autoregressive Distributed Lags, and the cost approach. Furthermore, the research theme for the final project of the Management Department students has conformity to the development of science-based innovation and information technology to improve quality education and research, by 61%, with dominant topics, abnormal returns, analysis of five forces porter, bank, business model canvas, leadership, and purchase intention.

Abstract

Scholarly communication librarian (SCL) is the involvement of librarians to facilitate researchers to know the development of research conducted by other researchers. Scholarly communication is not a new thing in the library world, because scientific publishing has existed since the research was conducted. The purpose of this study was to find out SCL as a challenge for librarian duties in era 4.0 which includes three main tasks of librarians in legislation, library management, library services, and librarianship system development. The population in this study were members of the FPPTI Jawa Barat and a sample of 70 people based on the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%. The study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach and data collection techniques using a closed Likert scale questionnaire. Based on the results of the data analysis, it shows that the FPPTI Jawa Barat librarian gave a positive response with a very good category in the SCL. FPPTI Jawa Barat librarians in carrying out their role as SCL have been able to adapt quickly and make important contributions in conducting research. The results of the study illustrate that the FPPTI Jawa Barat librarian has carried out library management well, especially in planning and evaluation, providing various sources of information that are easily accessible to users, quick reference, and conducting scientific writing guidance, and being a facilitator. The involvement of librarians in conducting research shows that FPPTI Jawa Barat librarians are actively involved in research to improve library performance in realizing service excellence.
