Abstract

A wireless repeater is one of the solutions to extend signal range and reduce dead spot areas. However, selecting the right device often poses challenges for users due to the variety of products available in the market, each with differing specifications, performance, and prices. This study aims to develop a decision support system (DSS) based on the PIPRECIA-S and Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) methods. The PIPRECIA-S method is used to determine criterion weights in a structured manner, while the ARAS method evaluates alternatives based on their relative utility. The study resulted in a web-based application designed to enable users to access and manage data anytime and anywhere. A case study demonstrated that TP-Link TL-WA850RE (A4) ranked first with a score of 0.9395, followed by Prolink N300 (A3) with a score of 0.8571, Mercusys MW300RE (A1) with a score of 0.7770, and Tenda A9 (A2) in the last position with a score of 0.7141. The system's calculation results were consistent with manual calculations, proving the system's reliability and validity in providing recommendations. System testing using the black-box testing method showed that all features functioned as specified, including data management, input evaluation, and alternative ranking calculations. This study contributes a systematic solution to assist users in selecting the most suitable wireless repeater for their needs, while also enhancing efficiency in the multi-criteria decision-making process.

Abstract

Science Olympiad participants will compete with other schools to show their abilities in the fields of science being contested, such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and astronomy Or special themes chosen during the Olympics. This makes it difficult in the selection of participants for the Science Olympiad, because the Olympiad participants are proud and also carry the good name of the school that is studying, so that the wrong entry of participants causes problems in assessing school quality. In this study, the Science Olympiad participants were selected with the concept of a decision support algorithm using the WASPAS method. The WASPAS method, which stands for Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment, is one of the methods used to minimize product defects by finding the highest and lowest values. The results of this study indicate that a student named Frans with a score of 8.7590 was selected to take part in the Science Olympiad as the best choice among the other options.

Abstract

Cuaca is a natural phenomenon that greatly impacts humans. Information about weather prediction is needed by humans and especially in Medan City. This information is very useful to know the weather events around us. Data mining is a process of collecting important information on large data, so that it can help to make decisions and can make accurate predictions. So that researchers are interested in conducting research in predicting weather in Medan City by using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method as a solution in predicting weather in Medan City. The application of data mining using the SVM method helps produce the right accuracy for weather based on predetermined criteria, this method is suitable for weather prediction because it is able to provide a clear and accurate assessment.

Abstract

The development of technology today has greatly influenced the development of science, one of which is in the recognition of iris patterns. When compared to fingerprints, the iris has the advantage of being protected by the eyelids and is more stable as the human age increases. The iris in human vision functions to regulate the size of the pupil and regulate the amount of light entering the eye. If observed more deeply the iris has unique characteristics of each individual. so that the iris can be used as a biometric mark for identification. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is a tool to solve problems, especially in the field and iris pattern recognition. In general, Artificial Neural Network has a working principle that mimics the human neural network system, weighs the actions to be taken, and makes decisions like humans. Iris recognition can be used as an alternative if the introduction of fingerprints as a biometric identity fails. in this study, iris recognition uses the Dela Rule algorithm. The Delta Rule algorithm has the advantage of being able to check errors during the learning process. This will certainly make the Delta Rule algorithm have a high level of accuracy in iris pattern recognition.

Abstract

Industrial growth can affect labor mobility both geographically and in terms of professional qualifications, large industries have a strategic role as creators of added value and important job providers in the Region. As an important part of industrial production, it cannot be separated from the demand for labor, but if viewed macro, it can be concluded that the quality of work determines or greatly influences the results of labor productivity itself. The industrial sector plays a significant role in economic growth, because it absorbs labor. Labor growth is much greater than the availability of jobs, thus causing other new problems, namely high unemployment. This study uses the Backpropagation Method to classify special patterns, which reduces the error rate by adjusting the weight based on the difference between output and the desired target. The results of this study are predictions of the level of truth of the Number of Large and Medium Industrial Workers according to Industry Group. Using 5 models, namely 10-10-1, 10-45-1, 10-45-10-1, 10-75-10-1, and 10-100-75-1. From 5 architecture models, 1 best model is produced, namely the 10-75-10-1 model with an accuracy rate of 70% and the smallest epoch with a total of 383.
