Abstract

This research was conducted to improve the process and results of thematic learning in class VI students at SD Negeri 027962 Binjai. Researchers apply the Project based learning (PjBL) learning model to realize these two things. This type of research is class action research (Classroom Action Research), with the research subject being Class VI Students of SD Negeri 027962 Binjai for the 2022/2023 academic year. There are 27 students, with details of 12 male students and 15 female students. The object of this research is the thematic learning process of class VIA students. This research was carried out in two learning cycles. With 4 (four) stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation/observation, and reflection. The data collection tools are tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the analysis of data from 27 students obtained thematic learning outcomes for the very low category 9 students (33.33%), the low category 5 students (18.52%), the medium category 7 students (25.93%), the high category 5 students ( 18.52%), and very high category 1 student (3.70%), with a classical average of 51.11. From the results obtained above, they were followed up in cycle I using the PjBL model and obtained thematic learning results for the very low category 6 students (22.22%), the low category 4 students (14.81%), the medium category 3 students (11, 11%), high category 8 students (29.63%), and very high category 6 students (22.22%), with a classical average of 63.24%. The acquisition of cycle I significantly increased and was followed up in cycle II with the acquisition of thematic learning scores for the very low category 2 students (7.41%), the high category 11 students (40.74%), and the very high category 14 students (51.85). %), with a classical average of 78.24.

Abstract

The author's purpose in this research is to determine the influence of the internet, the benefits and impacts of using the internet on student achievement and to find out the problems, bad effects of the internet and find solutions to the bad effects caused by the internet for students. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, namely a research approach that presents data in the form of a narrative/description. The type of research we use is descriptive research. Descriptive research aims at solving problems that exist today because there are so many kinds of research that tell, analyze, and apply research with survey results, questionnaires, observations, or with text techniques, case studies, studies. time and motion, qualitative analysis, cooperative studies, or cooperative studies, or operational studies. The results of the research are the internet is very helpful in learning activities, because wherever someone can be free to find learning information.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research was carried out to increase the activity and cognitive learning outcomes of Theme 2, sub-theme 1 in class V students at UPT SDN 060870 East Medan. Researchers apply the Project based learning (PjBL) learning model to realize these two things. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class V UPT SDN 060870 Medan Timur, consisting of three boys and three girls. This research data collection technique was carried out systematically by using an active observation questionnaire and formative tests b. Based on learning observations in the first cycle, the level of activity and learning outcomes of students reached 50% with an average value of cognitive learning outcomes reaching 68. In the second cycle, researchers applied the project based learning (PjBL) learning model which was adjusted to the results of the first cycle reflection able to increase the activity and learning outcomes of students up to 83.33%, but the average value of learning outcomes only reached 83.33. The research has not been declared successful because the success indicator of this study is that 85% of students are categorized as active, good and thorough in their cognitive learning outcomes with an average minimum score of 90 so that the research is continued in the third cycle. Consolidation of learning with the project based learning (PjBL) learning model was carried out in the third cycle, the positive impact of this was able to increase the activity of students, namely 100% of the number of class V students were declared active both in learning and getting grades more or equal to KKM with an average -the average value reaches 95. With the findings and observations from the first cycle to the third cycle there is a dominant increase and achieves the success indicators set by the researcher. On this basis, the researcher drew the conclusion that by applying the model to learning theme 2, sub-theme 1 in class V UPT SDN 060870 Medan Timur, it could increase students' activeness and cognitive learning outcomes. With these results, it is expected to be a reference for other researchers in developing learning innovations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's role in increasing student interest in learning Islam at Dinda Hafidzah Junior High School. The data collection carried out in this study was by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is using Miles and Huberman analysis techniques, the activities in the analysis include data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing and verification. While the technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data in this study uses triangulation techniques. The findings in this study: that Islamic religious education teachers have a role other than as educators and teachers, teachers also act as motivators and evaluators.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve student learning outcomes by using the Problem-based learning model on theme 3, sub-theme 2, learning 1 with the subject matter characteristic of electronic media advertisements and digestive organ disorders in class V SD Negeri 105322 Desa Mesjid, academic year 2022/2023. This type of research is Classroom Action Research, with the research subject being Class V students at SD Negeri 105322 Desa Mesjid for the 2022/2023 academic year. There are 19 students, with details of 7 male students and 12 female students. This research was carried out in two learning cycles. With 4 (four) stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation/observation, and reflection. The data collection tools are tests and observation sheets. Based on the initial tests conducted, it was found that of the 19 students who took the pre-test, there were 7 students who completed the learning outcomes with a percentage of 37% and 12 students who had not completed the pre-test with an average percentage of 63% with an average of 59. ,4. Researchers followed up in cycle I by using the Problem based learning learning model on theme 3 sub-themes 2 learning 1 subject matter features of electronic media advertising and digestive organ disorders, the acquisition of cycle I results increased to 11 students who completed learning outcomes with a percentage of 58% and there were 8 students incomplete with a percentage of 42% with an average classical score of 71. Based on the temporary conclusion, that student learning outcomes have not been as expected or have not reached a good classical completeness percentage level, so it needs improvement and development in cycle II. In cycle II, the acquisition of student learning outcomes increased to 16 students who completed their learning outcomes with a percentage of 84% and not yet completed 3 students with a percentage of 16% with an average classical score of 83.

Abstract

Book is a window to the world. By reading books, we can get a variety of knowledge that we do not know. The meaning of books as windows to the world can be doubted today. Given the internet provides a lot of information with a much more attractive appearance. Both books and the internet provide a wealth of information and knowledge. But in fact books are still the mainstay of accurate sources of knowledge. A lot of information on the internet is in fact not supported with accuracy. Even in the world of higher education, books are the main reference source in scientific writing. However, old books that may have started to become dull and the writing can no longer be read resulted in the reader of the book not being able to know the knowledge contained in the old book. Based on observations, it is necessary to build a computerized system so that the writings in the book can be read again. One method that can be used is the Thresholding method. The system is designed with MATLAB programming application. In this process, it is necessary to scan or take photos/pictures from cellphone cameras from old book manuscripts to be processed on the system using the Thresholding method. After carrying out the testing process on several images of old books, better results were obtained so that the writing on the manuscript could be seen more clearly with different threshold values for each image entered into the system.
