Sebagai Jurnal Seni yang hadir ditengah-tengah lembaga Prodi Pendidikan Seni Tari; dalam hal ini jurnal gesture akan selalu konsisten untuk berupaya menampung segala bentuk karya tulis ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan bidang (Pengajaran, Pengkajian, Penyajian, Penciptaan, dan Pengelolaan) di Pendidikan Tari FBS Unimed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the existence of folklore in BatakToba society and pinpoint how "Reconstruction Folklore Batak Tobain the form Tortor performances Sigale-gale". For a discussion of theresearch objectives above, use the theories related to the researchtopic, such as the reconstruction theory, the theory of folklore, thetheory of forms of performance, tortor understanding, andunderstanding existence. The research was conducted to discuss"Reconstruction Folklore Batak Toba In The Form Of PerformingTortor Sigale-gale" was conducted for 2 Months namely frontier inDecember 2015 to February 2016. The research is in the area ofPangururan Samosir and Medan Helvetia. The population in thisstudy are some of the figures of young and old artists. The resultsusing qualitative research methods include the presentation andinterpretation of the data that is how "Reconstruction Folklore BatakToba In The Form Of Performing Tortor Sigale-gale. Folklore(folklore) in the Toba Batak society is a kind of oral folklore andfolklore instead of orally. Sigale-gale statue can move with thevarious movements that detail, such as hand movements up and down,rigid (staccato) and head could only shake his head. Abstract

This research is the study of the form of presentation of dance parties, Or oncommunity Gayo in Aceh Tengah. The purpose of this study was to describe theform of the presentation of dance parties, Or on community Gayo in AcehTengah.In this discussion the researchers use theories related to research topics such as thesense of dance parties, Or, the theory of form and presentation of the theory.The methods used to discuss the form of the presentation of dance parties, Or oncommunities of Central Aceh Gayo is a descriptive analysis method. This researchpopulation and at the same time be a sample that is custom figures, artists, anddancers. Data collection techniques include the study of librarianship, interview,observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitativedeskriftif.Based on research is a dance which depicts a convoluted story of Atu grief of amother. This dance was created in 1956 by Ibrahim Kadir. Examine the formpresentation at dance parties, Atu would discuss all elements include motionconsists of three parts, namely persalamen (opener), stages comprising the contentof the motion of the lompong fly (flying locust), nuet lompong (taking thelocusts), nero manganese (ask for a meal), lompong fly (flying locust), ulakmungaro (home to hunt), the benges (angry), Ilapahe (cut), mupancur rayoh (theblood gushed out), gunah (sad), mongot sebuku (crying), nunung jematue (followthe mother) beloh, musangka (ran away), wet tedoh weh (stop taking water), belohnyerah lives (go submit lives), restless, mujadi atu (stones), and penutupen(cover). The accompaniment is poetry. Clothing worn in men's clothing namelyfiligree motif while the female dancers use the kebaya. Property that is used like amachete. Makeup used makeup. The theme of the dance is a dramatic danceparties, Or where the dance contains the story and the message conveyed. Thepattern of the floor which is used there are eighteen floor patterns. Abstract

This journal aims to describe the existence of Sufi Dance AtCommunity Al Fairouz In the city of Medan include: (1) history, (2)function, (3) a presentation of Sufi dance at Al Fairouz community inMedan.This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. This research datais the history, function, and form of presentation of Sufi dance at AlFairouz community in Medan. The data used is the Sufi dance on AlFairouz community in Medan. Data were collected with a populationof 11 people consisting of 1 figure and 10 dancers Sufi, observation,interview, and literature study. Data were analyzed using descriptivetechniques.The results of this study as follows. 1) Background Sufi Dance on AlFairouz community that started when there Bersholawat Muslimevent, along with Habib Sheikh and Sheikh Hisham Kabbani ofAmerica, which at the time makhalul qiyam where there are fewdharwish (pupil thoriqoh) dance around in circles. 2). The existenceof Sufi dance at Al Fairouz community named as one of the Sufi dancecommunity that organizes the only one in the city of Medan. Abstract

Peoples Pakpak called the term dance with the wordTatak. Tatak Tintoa Serser(mangirik page) describes the work to harvest rice from beginning to end. Thisstudy aims to explore the value of mutual cooperation contained in Tatak TintoaSerser views from the variety of motion.The cornerstone of the theory used in this study is an understanding of the valueand the theory of solidarity.Time used in research to address Tatak Tintoa Serser carried out since January2016 to March 2016. The study was conducted in the village of Salak, DistrictSalak, Pakpak Bharat. The population once the sample in this study is a resourceand dancers who controlled the culture and dance. Data collection techniquesincluding observation, interviews, literature study and documentation, which isthen analyzed by qualitative descriptive method.The results obtained are moral values such as solidarity and mutual aid values arereflected through movements that are arranged in Tatak Tintoa Serser namelymotion Mangirik Page, motion Manarsari, motion Erserakan Page, motionMangumpulkan Page and motion carry on the hand Page.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of learning and the result of learning Sitalasari dance through audio visual on students at Bintang Langkat junior high school. In this discussion using the theories related to research topics such as audio visual theory and the result of learning. The method used quantitative methods. Population in the course of a study as well as an example of a study Bintang Langkat junior high school. The data collection technique consisted of field observation and test. Based on this study, it can be seen that through the audio visual media student the result of learning in the material in class VII Sitalasari Bintang Langkat Junior high school. Ratings were used in this study is the assessment of psychomotor (skill) and attitude. In psychomotor assessment results obtained after the study is fairly good student the result of learning, namely the amount of the average value of students reached 75.5% of students who achieve mastery of 25 people and students who do not achieve mastery of 5 people. The result are considered sufficient because it meet the of specified benchmark by 83.33% of student who complete and 16.66% of students who do not achieve mastery. Assessment of student the result of learning with attitudes, values, excellent students there are eight people, the percentage was 26.67% of students with good people grades there are 17 people, the percentage is 56.66% on sufficent student score 5 people percentagenya is 16.67.

Abstract

The function of TortorMangaloaloTondong on Occasion of Par RohParmaen in WeddingCeremony Simalungun at SipispisSerdangBedagai district.SendratasikDepartement. DanceEducation Program Fakulty of language and Art. State University of Medan. This studydiscusses about the function of TortorMangaloaloTondong on Occasion of Par Rohmaen inWedding Ceremony Simalungun at SipispisSerdangBedagai district. The theory is used theoryof function. Population of study aretradisional leaders. Simalungun people who knows aboutTortorMangaloaloTondong. The data collection was conducted by real work methods it wereinterviews, direct observation, documentation and literature study. The methods is used in thisstudy is qualitative method and descriptive approach. The result of the revealed thatTortorMangaloaloTondongfunction were server as the communication between human andhuman (suhutbolon and tondong). Tondong respected for delivering advice to suhutbolon andbride in tortor, humans communication to God were gratitude to God because the weddingceremony had done clearly, human and nature to see the weather, determine a good day for thewedding ceremony.

Abstract

This research is a study on the existence of Dance Moncak community South Tapanuli. The purpose of this study was to describe the existence of Dance Moncak community South Tapanuli.In the discussion  of this  study,  used the  theories related to  the  topic of  writing, such as understanding Moncak Dance, Dance Moncak history and theoryof existence.The methods used to discuss the existence of Dance Moncak in South Tapanuli Society is a qualitative descriptive method.The population in this study as well as a sample, including traditional leaders, artists and dancers. Collection techniques include literature studies, interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research which had held, it was known that Moncak Dance in South Tapanuli community was a chronology of an event of someone called Siraja Lottung who fight with tiger. Until now, it was not known the existence of Moncak dance in South Tapanuli start in what century. It is not found yet the scripture about the beginning of Moncak dance in South Tapanuli community. However theelders and Art Figure of South Tapanuli community said that Moncak was exist before the arrivalof Islam in South Tapanuli about 800 AD. In 1960 until 1980, Moncak was held as entertainmentand introduced to people of South Tapanuli. Nowaday the opponent of Moncak dancer was no tiger anymore, but human that is Moncak dancer. After the development of era, Moncak was held become a dancing that is Moncak dance that has plot and accompanied by music, where the community of South Tapanuli themselves didn’t know who made Moncak becomes a dance. Moncak dance event often took place in large field on Idul fitri as people entertainment. This eventdone in afternoon at first day of Idul fitri for a week. There are several young people called Pemoncak ( the one who expert in Moncak dance ).

Abstract

Based on the enthusiasm of received the profit as much as possible causeda symptom of commodification appear in every sector of life. Included arts sector,in this case was more spesification in dance arts. Theory that used in this researchwas the theory of commodification that incuded production, distribution, andconsument. Composing theory based on the exploration, improvisation, formation,and development theory in this case was seen based on qualitative andquantitative. The time when the research conducted was in october until november2015. The place of the research conducted was on Sanggar Ai-ai Dancer atkecamatan Medan Denai and SanggarNusindo at Kecamatan Medan timur.Commodification affect the quality and quantity of dance movement andalso dance performance from Sanggar Ai-ai Dancer and Nusindo. That’s allbecause of the market demands were influenced in the process of dancecomposing, In result they gave priority to the commercial demands. Then tochange the merits became the material, occured the process of production,distribution, and consument to both of the Sanggar.

Abstract

The theory used in this research is the theory Koreeografi of Sudarsono. When the study to discuss Emun Berereng dance performed during 2 months, ie from the beginning of October 2015 to December 2015. The study Desa Blang Kolak II District Bebesen Central Aceh district. The population is a resource, artists, traditional leaders and dancers who know about dance Gayo especially dance Emun Berereng in Central Aceh, the sample in this study were numbered four persons namely speakers, traditional leaders, artists and dancers dance Emun Berereng in Aceh Central. Data collection techniques include literature study, observation, Interview, and documentation, which is then analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. Based on research done that dance Emun Berereng have a soft form of motion, the design contained on the dance floor Emun berereng is catastrophically, split, alternately and interchangeably. Top design contained in this dance is the design on a flat, contrast, vertical, medium, low, and high pending. Dance wear Emun Berereng external musical accompaniment accompaniment yaiu born noise generated by devices outside the human body like a drum, flute, harp and other musical instruments. The themes contained in this dance is how the relationship young people gayo in mengespresikan feelings of love towards people in sukain in ancient times, Clothing used in dance Berereng Emun this is a long-sleeved shirt filigree headdress that had been in kreasikan (headscarf). Property used in dance Emun Berereng is scarves.

Abstract

This research was about learning cultural art esspecially dance art thetopic was Tatak Tintoa Serser can be effective and efficient by using audiovisual.In this research was using the theoriticals its relation with topicresearch about audio visual method and to result of theory practiced.Thismethod was using descriptive quantitative. The population this methoddirectly was the sample of SMA Swasta Daerah Sei Bejangkar. Tekhnik tocollected data were research, library study, documentasi, and tes ofpractice.Based on the research, this research was using audio visual as a helptools to learnt who give result included psicimotoric value, the student wassuccess 83,33% and the student was not success 16,66%. The attitude ofstudy result get the best value was 26,67%, the student get better value was40%, and the student get anough value was 33,33%. The kognitive of studyresult get the best value was 26,67%, the student get better value was 40%,and the student get anough value was 33,33%. By using audio visual methodof learning Tatak Tintoa Serser more effective and efficient.
