Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of academic procrastination and time management on academic stress. The research method used by the author is a literature study method by reading, collecting data, analyzing, and drawing conclusions based on references sourced from several selected scientific journals that have been previously selected and reviewed by researchers. The results of this study are found to match the factors in academic procrastination and time management that cause academic stress.

Abstract

Technology use has a beneficial and negative impact on children's growth and development. Users will become addicted to their devices if they are used constantly. The negative effects are especially concerning because they are so widespread among children who use electronic devices. Therefore, it is crucial for parents to provide, monitor, and limit their children's access to electronic devices. This research aims to ascertain how technology affects the mental growth of primary school students. This research is qualitative in nature, employing procedures like organized interviews. The findings of this study suggest that children's emotional development may be negatively affected by their excessive use of electronic devices.

Abstract

Many elderly choose to live in nursing homes because they do not receive attention from their families. Loneliness that is felt in nursing homes can affect the mental health of the elderly. This research has high urgency because it describes the negative impact of loneliness (loneliness) on the level of depression in the elderly who are widows/widowers who live in social institutions. In a social context that often lacks attention to this population, this research is important to identify problems and direct attention to efforts to prevent and treat their mental health problems. This study aims to examine the relationship between loneliness (loneliness) and the level of depression in the elderly who are widows/widowers in social institutions. This study uses the literature study method by taking two national articles and three international articles as references. The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between loneliness and the level of depression in the elderly with widow/widower status in social institutions.

Abstract

Interpersonal relationship is a relationship consisting of two or more people who are dependent on one another and use a consistent pattern of interaction. This interpersonal relationship includes familiarity, control, appropriate response, and harmony in the emotional atmosphere when communication takes place. This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal attractiveness on interpersonal relationships in adolescents in the city of Banjarmasin. This research method uses a quantitative approach with Pearson's Product Moment analysis. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The subjects in this study were teenagers in the city of Banjarmasin as many as 200 subjects. Measuring tools used in this study is the interpersonal attractiveness scale and interpersonal relationship scale. The results of this study are that there is a significant influence between interpersonal attractiveness and interpersonal relationships in adolescents in the city of Banjarmasin with R Square obtained at 0.278 and a significance level of 0.000.

Abstract

Women have a dual role as wives and mothers in the household, but many also work. This condition causes women to face multiple roles and work stress that affects their performance. This study aims to examine the effect of multiple role conflict and work stress on the performance of female employees at CV. Electric Steel Light. The research subjects consisted of 84 married female employees, selected by purposive sampling method. Data is collected through a questionnaire that measures multiple role conflict, job stress, and work performance. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS for Windows 16.0 program. The results showed that the p-value = 0.000 <0.05, which indicates a significant influence between multiple role conflict and work stress on the performance of female employees at CV. Electric Steel Light. The coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.25 indicates that multiple role conflict and stress contribute 25% to work performance, while the remaining 75% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Based on calculations, the effective contribution of multiple role conflict to work performance is 8.14%, while the effective contribution of work stress is 16.83%. This shows that work stress has a greater influence than multiple role conflict on the performance of female employees at CV. Electric Steel Light.
