Abstract

The economy is one of the main triggers of high crime rates in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the extent of the relationship between poverty and open unemployment rates and crime rates in this country. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach, utilizing panel data and a VECM model to analyze long-term impacts. The data sources used were secondary data from reports by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri). The results show that poverty has a significant positive impact on crime rates in Indonesia, as seen from the t-statistic being greater than the t-table, namely 13.9926 > 1.966378803 with a coefficient value of 34300.84. Similarly, open unemployment also has a significant positive impact as seen from the t-statistic which is greater than the t-table, namely 4.73350 > 1.966378803 with a coefficient value of 34616.26. Overall, these two factors, poverty and open unemployment, have a significant positive impact on crime rates in Indonesia, as indicated by an F-statistic greater than the t-table, namely 24.36384 > 1.96637883. These long-term findings indicate that high poverty rates and open unemployment rates can affect crime rates in Indonesia, while in the short term the opposite is true. This occurs because of survival mechanisms that utilize savings or government assistance. This study provides empirical evidence on the influence of poverty rates and open unemployment rates on high crime rates in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh strategi Digital Culturalpreneurship (X1) dan E-Commerce (X2) terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Produk Kreatif Melayu Kota Medan (Y). Tantangan utama sektor ini adalah rendahnya adopsi digital UMKM (58%) di tengah penetrasi internet yang tinggi (>70%). Menggunakan metode campuran (mixed method) di empat kecamatan dengan konsentrasi UMKM tertinggi, strategi X1 diukur melalui narasi budaya, inovasi digital, dan platform terintegrasi, sementara X2 melalui persepsi nilai budaya, kualitas visual, dan kepercayaan platform. Hasil regresi berganda menunjukkan X1 dan X2 berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial (Thitung X1= 5,114; X2= 5,658; Sig.= 0,000) maupun simultan (Fhitung= 90,697; Sig.= 0,000) terhadap Y. Kontribusi gabungan kedua variabel adalah 37,5% (Adjusted R Square= 0,375) dengan model regresi Y = 7,596 + 0,312X1 + 0,345X2 + e. Disimpulkan bahwa integrasi narasi budaya yang otentik dengan optimalisasi fitur e-commerce sangat krusial untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian produk kreatif Melayu di pasar digital.

Abstract

Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad is a regional division of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk that operates in the toll road service sector in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and corporate image on toll road user satisfaction at Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad. This research employs a quantitative approach by collecting data through an online questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine both partial and simultaneous effects among variables. The results indicate that service quality has a significant effect on user satisfaction, as shown by a t-value of 3.848 which is higher than the t-table value of 1.985 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Corporate image also has a significant effect on user satisfaction, indicated by a t-value of 4.572 > 1.985 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, service quality and corporate image significantly influence user satisfaction with an F-value of 83.906 > 3.090 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate that improving service quality and strengthening corporate image are important factors in increasing toll road user satisfaction. This study contributes empirically to the marketing management literature, particularly in understanding the determinants of user satisfaction in toll road services.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and tourist arrivals on Local Own-Source Revenue of Makassar City over the period 2011–2024. The research framework integrates GRDP and tourist arrivals as the two primary engines shaping PAD. GRDP serves as an indicator of rising household and government consumption, while high tourist arrivals act as a multiplier effect expected to drive PAD growth in Makassar City. Employing multiple linear regression with 14 years of time-series data, the study tests the significance of GRDP and tourist arrivals as independent variables on PAD as the dependent variable. The analysis reveals that the model with two independent variables yields R² = 0.954 and F-statistic = 115.192 (p < 0.001), indicating the model is highly statistically significant. GRDP demonstrates a dominant effect with an unstandardized coefficient β = 0.013 (p < 0.001) and standardized β = 0.908, whereas tourist arrivals exhibit a secondary influence with an unstandardized coefficient β = 0.074 (p = 0.003) and standardized β = 0.244. The findings confirm that these two economic sectors, GRDP and the number of tourist arrivals, are the main drivers of PAD growth in Makassar City. Policy implications underscore the importance of sustainably developing economic growth and tourism as the foundation for regional revenue expansion, while optimizing the tourism sector's potential as a less volatile supplementary growth source.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competition, location, process and facilities on purchasing decisions for Housing PT Hunian Semarak Sejahtera Bengkulu City. The population in this study were all consumers who bought PT. The sample in this research is 128 samples. The nature of the research used is descriptive quantitative and the sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling method. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple regression analysis with the help of the IBM SPSS application program. The results of the analysis show that (1) the competitive variable influences the purchasing decision, (2) the location variable influences the purchasing decision, (3) the process variable influences the purchasing decision, (4) the facility variable influences the purchasing decision, (5) competition, location , Process and Facilities influence simultaneously on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Financial performance is important for every company or organization that runs a business. Good financial performance is measured from the results of financial report analysis and is given a percentage according to predetermined criteria, so that the results of the analysis can be used to develop appropriate plans and policies to achieve the vision and mission of the cooperative. The purpose of this study is to determine the movement of cooperative financial performance reporting based on liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios from 2018 to 2021. The method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the financial reporting results of the Dhomber Air Force cooperative are very safe or strong in terms of liquidity and leverage. The cooperative's liquidity ratio shows good results because the cooperative's ability to pay is very high where each short-term debt is guaranteed by several assets. While the leverage analysis shows. As for profitability, the higher the profitability value owned by the Dhomber Air Force Cooperative, Balikpapan, the better the management's performance in generating profits for the company.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze financial literacy, lifestyle, and the consumptive nature of online loans with financial inclusion as a moderation. In research conducted, a person's decision to take a loan online can be measured using the Partial Least Square (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. This research design is quantitative, with the population in this study being individuals who make loan decisions online. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling with data collection methods in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a total of 100 respondents. The results showed that financial literacy and lifestyle variables had a positive effect on online loans, consumptive nature had a negative effect on online loans, while financial inclusion could moderate financial literacy, lifestyle, consumptive nature of online loans

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of discount and giveaway variables on consumer buying interest. This type of research is quantitative research that uses research data collection techniques through questionnaires with Likert scales. This study used 100 respondents in Rantauprapat city with a sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is a multiple linear regression analysis test with a t test, the determinant coefficient test shows that each independent variable has an effect and is significant for discount and giveaway variables on the buying interest of consumers of Rantauprapat Fashion Outlet stores. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the discount variable (X1) has a significant influence on the buying interest variable (Y), while the giveaway variable (X2) has an effect on buying interest (Y). Based on these results, it can be concluded that in this study the provision of discounts and giveaways is more effective in encouraging respondents' buying interest

Abstract

The development of a company where the individual can do the work in accordance with the directions made so as not to harm the company. This study aims to determine how much influence Soft Skills and Hard Skills have on Work Performance at Pt Putra Sebakas Abadi. The variables of this study are Soft skills and Hard skills. The method used in this research is distributing questionnaires. This research is a qualitative approach research. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data obtained through observation and distribution of questionnaires to the respondents. The population of this study were all employees of PT Putra Sebakas Abadi, the respondents in this study were 45 samples using the saturated sample method. The analytical tool used in this study uses SPSS 22. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) soft skills did not significantly influence work performance at Pt Putra Sebakas Abadi, (2) hard skills had a significant effect on work performance at Pt Putra Sebakas Abadi. (3) Soft skills and Hard skills simultaneously influence work performance at PT Putra Sebakas Abadi. So as to produce feedback that can be mutually accepted and given to the company so that the company benefits, it influences each other.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of specific bank risks and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on the stability of Sharia rural banks in the Province of Banten. The indicators of specific bank risks include Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Operational Cost to Operating Income (BOPO), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Meanwhile, the indicators used to assess GCG are the size of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS), board of commissioners, and board of directors. This study uses panel data from 8 Sharia rural banks as research samples from June 2020 to June 2022. Based on the regression results using the selected model, which is the Common Effect Model, it was found that partially, the variables CAR, BOPO, and the board of directors have a significant influence on the stability of Sharia rural banks. Meanwhile, simultaneously, all the variables, namely NPF, CAR, BOPO, DPS, board of commissioners, and board of directors, collectively influence the stability of Sharia rural banks in the Province of Banten.
