Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by madrasa heads in improving student learning achievement. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation analysis. The research results show that madrasa heads implement strategic management which includes three main stages: planning, implementation and evaluation. In this process, an analysis of students’ interests, talents and preferred subjects is carried out, which is then followed up with an appropriate coaching program. Periodic evaluations are also carried out to measure the effectiveness of the program and adjust strategies as needed. Supporting and inhibiting factors in optimizing student learning achievement are internal factors (interests, talents, motivation, health, cognitive abilities), while external factors (family, community, and school)

Abstract

Leadership plays an important role in determining the direction and quality of education. At MIN 1 Bandung, the effectiveness of the principal’s leadership is a key factor in building a professional, disciplined, and value-oriented work culture based on Islamic principles. This study aims to describe how the combination of transformational and transactional leadership styles can create an effective leadership pattern within the school environment. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that transformational leadership fosters work motivation, builds a shared vision, and creates a collaborative working atmosphere. Meanwhile, transactional leadership supports the establishment of discipline, responsibility, and a clear system of rewards and sanctions. The combination of both styles results in balanced leadership between motivation and control, proving effective in improving teachers’ performance and the overall quality of education at MIN 1 Bandung. These findings emphasize that the integration of transformational and transactional leadership can serve as a strategic model for strengthening educational leadership in schools

Abstract

Good learning management so that learning has a positive impact on its recipients (students), or in other words, results in active learning. Active learning is a learning approach where students strive to acquire various knowledge during class learning, this is reflected in the increasing understanding and experience of the students, also allowing students to develop their thinking, for example, such as analytical skills. Another factor why active learning is necessary is because the times continue to develop and each person's characteristics are different, one of which is currently the millennial generation where they generally prefer to collaborate on assignments because they enjoy communicating with their friends.Research objective: To analyze students' experiences in participating in project-based learning, including aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and completion of project assignments . The method used in this research is a mixed methods method. This research is a research step by combining two forms of research that have previously existed, namely qualitative research and quantitative research. According to Creswell, mixed research is a research approach that combines qualitative research with quantitative research. Correlation shows a linear relationship between the variables in this study. Correlation between variables is calculated using the Pearson coefficient whose value ranges from -1 to +1. Positive values indicate a unidirectional relationship (the higher one variable, the higher the other variable), while values close to zero indicate a weak relationship or no linear relationship. The Quality variable, which represents overall quality, shows a strong positive correlation with several other key variables, specifically: Allianc (r = 0.955), indicating a very strong relationship, Imp2 (r = 0.844), Respond (r = 0.823). Model Explanatory Power The R-squared value shows that the PjBL variable has moderate explanatory power (17.1%), while the Response variable has very high explanatory power (100%), which means the model is able to explain the variation in respondent responses comprehensively. This emphasizes that the model built is suitable and relevant in the research context

Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped debates on access, equity, and quality in higher education, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a key enabler. This study synthesizes existing literature to examine the intersections between AI integration, digital leadership, pedagogical competency, and equity-oriented practices. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA framework, the study analyzed 69 peer-reviewed articles (2022–2025) from Scopus and Watase databases. The findings identified three main themes: expanding digital access, advancing learning equity, and improving quality through AI-based pedagogy. Significant regional differences exist; developing countries (such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand) focus on infrastructure and teacher training, while developed countries emphasize ethics and curriculum innovation. Methodologically, quantitative approaches dominate and theories such as TPACK and TAM are relied upon. The study concludes that AI's impact is maximized when combined with human factors, such as teacher self-efficacy and institutional leadership. AI is not a neutral tool, but rather a transformative force tied to ethics and inclusivity. Future research should prioritize methodological pluralism and long-term evaluation to align technological advances with educational equity

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of an Islamic Education Management Information System (ISMS) to improve madrasah administrative efficiency in the era of digital transformation. Using a Systematic Literature Review approach to ten selected journal articles from various trusted academic databases for the 2023-2025 period, this study reveals that digitizing madrasah administration through an ISMS has a significant impact on increasing operational efficiency. The systematic implementation process through the stages of initiation, elaboration, development, and transition showed a product suitability level of 90.29% based on expert validation. The artificial intelligence -based system achieved 95% accuracy in multimodal data processing, surpassing conventional systems which only achieved 80%. The system's effectiveness is proven by reducing administrative burdens, accelerating data processing, increasing information accuracy, and facilitating data-driven decision-making. Supporting factors for success include leadership commitment, adequate digital infrastructure, and human resource readiness. Key challenges faced include the digital divide, limited infrastructure, technophobia , poor internet connectivity, and budget constraints. This study recommends the development of a comprehensive digitalization roadmap , strengthening human resource capacity through ongoing training, and developing a contextual system effectiveness evaluation model to optimize digital transformation in sustainable Islamic education governance
