The purpose of this research was to reveal how extend the correlation of the training and the teaching experience toward the teachers’ performance of State Islamic High School in Tanah Datar. There were three hypotheses tested 1) the training contributed significantly toward the teachers’ professionalism; 2) the teachers’ teaching experience contributed significantly toward the teachers’ professionalism; 3) simultaneously, the training and teaching experience contributed significantly toward the teachers’ performance of State Islamic High School Tanah Datar. The research population were all teachers of State Islamic High School Tanah Datar which consist of 121 teachers and 53 teachers were selected as a research sample by using stratified proportional random sampling. Research data were collected through questionnaire. The first, and second hypothesis were tested by using simple correlation and regression, and the third hypothesis was tested by using multiple regression. The result showed that a) the training contributed significantly (26,50%) toward the teachers’ professionalism; b) the teachers’ teaching experience contributed significantly (26,00%) toward the teachers’ professionalism; and c) simultaneously, the training and the teaching experience contributed significantly (40,70%) toward the teachers’ professionalism. The purpose of this research was to see the implementation of discipline character in instructional process of Islamic education at State High School 1 Batusangkar. This research was descriptive research. This research focused on teachers’ character and school’s character. Meanwhile to check the trustworthiness of the data, the researcher used triangulation technique. The result of the research revealed that implementation of education discipline character in instructional process of Islamic education at State High School 1 Batusangkar was good. The discipline character building was implemented by giving the direct example to the student, advising, inserting to the instructional process, reminding, and giving punishment. The implementation was done to educate students in order to be obedience, discipline, and scary to make a mistake.Keywords: Discipline Character, Islamic Education, High School, Batusangkar.

The purpose of this research was to know the implementation of teachers’ professional development in Islamic Secondary School Tarbiyah Islamiah Tanah Datar and the impact of the implementation of the teachers’ professional development to the quality of education in Islamic Secondary School Tarbiyah Islamiah Tanah Datar. This research was qualitative case study. The result obtained indicate that particularly in Islamic Secondary School Tarbiyah Islamiah Pariangan, Islamic Secondary School Tarbiyah Islamiah Tanjung Barulak and Islamic Secondary School Tarbiyah Islamiah Jaho were not good, the coaching responsibilities of teachers’ professional development is still left to the headmaster and the participation of regional government was less. This research aimed at describing the management of Boarding School Diniyyah Pasia on upgrading students’ speaking of Arabic language skill. This research belongs to qualitative case study. The results revealed that the management was good. The curriculum applied was determining on Arabic language skill in order to make good environment on speaking of Arabic skill. This study aimed at describing the implementation of the headmaster’s academic supervision on upgrading teachers’ performance in Islamic Primary School Singkarak, Solok. The interview and documentation were used as insturments to collect data. The purpose of the study was to describe the instructional process of Islamic Education subject in State High School 1 Rambatan. This research was qualitative. The subjects of the study was the Islamic education teachers that consist of 3 teachers. The instruments of data collection were observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by using matrix analysis or logic analysis Glaser and Strauss. The results showed that the instructional process of Islamic Education subject in State High School 1 Rambatan was good category by observation score 66,24. This study was qualitative and focused on the management of Semi Autonomous Institute (LSO) Wihdatul Ummah Batusangkar Foundation of Education in Improving the Quality of Education in SDIT Qurrata A’yun Batusangkar. The background of this research was the parents are more interested to educate their children in Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Qurrata A’yun, meanwhile half of them are teachers in SD, SMP, MTs, SMA, MA and lecturer. The result revealed that the management of Semi Autonomous Institute was run well. LSO did the management based on the guide book The Management System of Semi Autonomous Institute 2013. LSO organized the program to upgrade the quality of education in every units. The programs were 1) Early Years Program; 2) Monthly Activity; 3) Weekly Activity; and 4) Daily Activity. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning process, and obstacles encountered the learning of Islamic Education and Character by using Curriculum 2013 in State High School 1 Lintau Buo. The type of the research is descriptive by using Mix Method. The informants in this research were teachers of Islamic Education and Character, students and headmaster. The data collection techniquee were used in this study interview, observation and documentation. The results obtained indicate that the learning process of Islamic Education and Character has been implemented. However, there were some components of the learning process that has not been done as it should be such using the scientific approach, the use of the media, the use of teaching materials and handling students’ character. The efforts were done by school in implementing the curriculum 2013 were providing and expanding school’s facilities, conduct training, supervision and evaluation of teachers and students.Keywords: Islamic Education and Character, Learning Process, Curriculum 2013, State High School 1 Lintau Buo

This research was aimed at finding the influence of teachers’ work assessment toward teachers’ productivity; the influence of teachers’ work motivation toward teachers’ productivity, and the correlation between teachers’ work assessment and teachers’ work motivation toward teachers’ productivity. This research was correlational research with quantitative method. Population in this research were headmaster and teachers in State Primary School Gugus VI Sungaitarab, there were about 48 peoples. Research data were collected by using questionnaire with likert scale model and were analyzed by using correlational analysis technique and regretion analysis technique by utilizing SPSS. 18 application. The analysis of respondent’s acceptance level showed that the teachers’ work assessment have a correlation toward teachers’ productivity as 85,36% with 0,829 correlation score as first hypothesis. Teachers’ work motivation have a correlation toward teachers’ productivity as 52,7% with 0,50 correlation score as second hypothesis. Teachers’ works assessment and teachers’ work motivation have correlation toward teachers’ productivity as 82,23% respondent’s acceptance level with 00,1 correlation score as third hypothesis.Keyword: Teachers’ Work Assessment, Teachers’ Work Motivation, Teachers’ Productivity, State Primary School Gugus VI Sungaitarab.

This reseach was focused on the implementation of management function in Darul Funun El-Abbasiyah Padang Japang’s Boarding School. This reseach used qualitative approach by conducting observation, interview, and documatation study. The school generally had done the function of management by applying planning, organizing, actuating and controlling function.
