Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly impacted various aspects of human life, particularly in the realm of social media usage. While social media platforms offer numerous benefits, they also present substantial negative implications, one of the most alarming being the rise of cyberbullying. This behavior often originates from repeated negative comments that can severely affect the mental health of victims. Therefore, fostering ethics in digital communication is imperative. This study aims to examine the ramifications of cyberbullying and explore how values rooted in Pancasila can be integrated into society as a countermeasure. Utilizing a qualitative research method with a literature review approach, this investigation delves into the increasing prevalence of cyberbullying among adolescents. Furthermore, it discusses viable solutions to ensure the preservation of Pancasila values amidst technological advancements. The findings illustrate that embedding Pancasila values into daily life significantly shapes more responsible community behavior. By adhering to the moral guidelines provided by Pancasila, individuals are equipped to act with greater wisdom and empathy, consequently fostering a more harmonious social environment and promoting positive online interactions.

Abstract

This study explores cultural anthropology in Libya by examining the diverse social practices, belief systems, and historical contexts that shape the Libyan identity. The research highlights the intersection of tradition and modernity, addressing the impact of political changes on cultural expressions. Through ethnographic methods, primary data from local communities, and a review of existing literature, this paper discusses the ongoing struggles and resilience of various ethnic groups, including Arab, Berber, and Tuareg populations. The significance of oral traditions, art, and communal rituals is analyzed to understand how culture acts as a vehicle for identity formation amid socio-political upheaval. The findings suggest that cultural anthropology provides critical insights into the complexities of Libyan society, fostering a deeper appreciation for its rich heritage while acknowledging the challenges posed by globalization and conflict. This article contributes to the broader field of cultural studies by elevating Libyan voices and narratives, thereby promoting a nuanced understanding of cultural identity in a transforming world.

Abstract

This paper examines the multifaceted aspects of tourism in the Philippines, a nation rich in cultural heritage and natural beauty, renowned for its diverse ecosystems, vibrant cultures, and hospitable people. With tourism contributing significantly to the country's economy, this study analyzes both the opportunities and challenges faced by the industry, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, which drastically altered travel patterns. Employing a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative interviews and quantitative data analysis, the research highlights the implications of sustainability practices, cultural preservation, and community engagement in fostering a resilient tourism sector. The findings reveal that while the potential for growth remains high, addressing issues such as environmental degradation, over-tourism, and socio-economic disparities is critical for the future of Philippine tourism. This study aims to provide insights for policymakers, stakeholders, and researchers interested in sustainable tourism development in the Philippines.

Abstract

This study investigates the complex interplay between tourism, culture, and anthropology in Morocco, a country characterized by its rich cultural heritage and diverse landscapes. As a popular tourist destination, Morocco attracts millions of visitors each year, drawn by its historical sites, vibrant traditions, and unique gastronomy. However, the rapid growth of tourism in the region raises critical questions about cultural preservation, community involvement, and sustainable practices. Employing a qualitative research approach based on literature review and ethnographic observations, this study analyzes how tourism influences local cultures and highlights the role of anthropology in understanding these dynamics. The findings suggest that while tourism can be a catalyst for economic development, it also poses risks to cultural authenticity and social cohesion. By integrating anthropological insights, the research underscores the importance of adopting sustainable tourism practices that align with the values and traditions of Moroccan communities. Ultimately, this study contributes to a broader understanding of how tourism can coexist with cultural integrity and anthropological advocacy, offering implications for policymakers and stakeholders in Morocco's tourism sector.Tourism

Abstract

This study examines the similarities and differences in Islamic culture between Indonesia and Thailand, two Southeast Asian nations with significant Muslim populations. Although both countries are diverse in their cultures, the expressions of Islam are shaped by historical, social, and political contexts. Through a qualitative comparative analysis, the research highlights key cultural practices, religious interpretations, and community engagement in both nations. Indonesia, known for its moderate Islamic practices, shows a blend of local traditions, while Thailand presents a unique perspective with its predominantly Buddhist landscape influencing its Islamic minority. The findings suggest that the interaction between Islam and local cultures creates distinct manifestations of faith and practice. This paper contributes to understanding the broader implications of religious diversity and cultural identity within Southeast Asia.
